Eula had loved her husband the first time she caught sight of him. The moment their paths crossed, she wished he would be the person she would marry and spend the rest of her life with.

Not waiting for destiny to take its course, she decided to take matters into her hands; Eula persevered to make Jeremy hers. From cooking his favorite dishes to wiping the sweat off his forehead every time, he had a basketball game Eula had done it all.

But alas, all her perseverance came to naught since Jeremy won't even give her a single glance. It made Eula realize that Jeremy would never be hers, but it didn't stop her in her pursuit. Instead, she came up with a drastic move, asking her parents for their help in tying Jeremy to her.

She knew it was an unforgivable action, but she truly loved the man.

Eight years of marriage had passed, and Eula had finally learned her lesson. She came to regret the time she had forced Jeremy into marriage. In a marriage where she was the only person in love, she thought he would love her back because of all the years they've shared together, but she was all wrong; those years are just a wasted case.

When she finally got the courage to sign the divorce papers, she got into an accident that led her to be in a coma for two years.

When she regained consciousness, she was shocked to learn she had a completely new identity. Would Eula give their marriage a second chance this time, or would she walk away and act as if she doesn't know her husband?

Chapter 1
The scorching warm weather that could seep through the skin of every living being was enough to back people away from going outdoors. But contrary to the expectation, there was a single place bustling with people. It was a place wherein the large crowds of people were oblivious to the day's heat. Perhaps there was an event that day attracting large swarms of energetic youngsters. Or maybe because the working sectors contributing to the large percent of making the country up and running had finally gotten their long yearned salary. No one knows the truth, but one thing is sure, even though it was in the heat of summer, it won't stop this bustling crowd from spending their day for relaxation and enjoyment. While everyone was happily spending their time with their family and friends, a particular individual, which you would hardly even notice because of the person's average looks. With a face that everyone could easily forget among crowds of busybodies and an outfit that doesn't stand out among thousands of visitors of the outdoor mall. It was not surprising that this person can easily be ignored. Looking closely at this specific individual, a trace of anxiousness was evident from how her knees would share furiously on the ground to how she bit off the fingernails of her thumb. Every second, the clock's second hand would move, and the uneasiness she had quickly risen. "Two more minutes." She mumbled to herself as she looked at what she was holding with trembling hands. Her entire focus was on what she was holding, and the boisterous crowd was long forgotten by her. The whole reason she was in this crowded place during the heat of the day instead of staying home was long shoved at the back of her mind. The moment the long hand of the clock had finally hit five, it was as if she heard a loud beep sound in her ear, and the restlessness she had felt since earlier had tripled. And the moment she long dreaded had finally come. Her shaking hands suddenly revealed the thing she was clenching so tightly as if it was a treasure. She slowly lifted the pregnancy test kit into her field of vision, and when she saw the results, she couldn't help but curse herself. "You're an i***t, Eula Evans," she said as tears fell from her face. "How could you get pregnant now." Taking a long look at the pregnancy test kit with those two red lines made Eula feel great sorrow. She began to think that if other women received the great news of being pregnant, they would surely jump with joy. Still, to her, it was the complete opposite. It was like she was splashed with icy cold water in her entire body. Tears didn't stop from falling from her face, and she began to slowly caress her still flat stomach. "I'm sorry, baby." She muttered while fat tears fell from her eyes. While gently rubbing her stomach, she suddenly caught sight of a shiny golden ring placed on her ring finger. A hysterical laugh was then heard throughout the area, making the people passing by give her a weird look. She disheveled her hair with both of her hands while she cried and laughed at the same time. If only she had become pregnant earlier, when she had just married the man she had promised to spend the rest of her life with, they might have a perfect family. But now, when she had finally promised herself to end everything... to end the sham marriage she had with the man she loved her whole life, this sudden news came unannounced in her life. Eight years of marriage and it all came to naught. The man she thought would love her back because of how long they had stayed married was all but an illusion. Jeremy Evans just didn't love her. After all, it was all her fault. If she hadn't been stubborn enough to force herself to be a pair with Jeremy, they would have not wasted their time in this loveless marriage. A marriage wherein she was the only person in love while the other just grew hatred of her from all the years they had spent their time as husband and wife. Eula Evans suddenly laughed at herself for her foolishness. "Is it because I'm starting to regret my life's choices that I'm starting to remember the evil things I've done in the past?" She shook her head because of her silly thoughts then she tidied her appearance before she slowly rose from her seat. Taking a last look at the pregnancy test kit in hand, she made her way to the outdoor mall's trash can and threw the test kit in it. Anyway, since she decided to end everything with Jeremy, she might keep everything a secret from him, including the baby she was carrying in her stomach. It seemed unfair to Jeremy not to inform him about the child since he also have half the unborn child's genes. But Eula just doesn't want to be in a marriage wherein they are only bound by the child. "It's better to free him now rather than bind him in a marriage with which he was only forced in the first place." She muttered to herself and confidently headed towards the area's exit. After months of deep thinking about their future, it had finally met its fruition. The prior months of hesitation about leaving Jeremy had finally changed to certainness when she finally knew of the unborn child's existence on her stomach. "I would make sure that this child would grow up with love," Eula said as she came to a halt and caressed her flat stomach. "Even if this child would grow without a father, I would make sure that he won't feel the lack of it." Finally, making her choice, Eula opened the door of her car. As she was finally seated in the driver's area, she placed the car's key on the keyhole and started the engine. At the same time as Eula had finally started the engine, a loud explosion was heard. People rushed to the area where they heard the loud sound and what greeted them was the image of a car in flames. The car's original color was beyond recognition with how it was consumed by the fire. The bystanders could only look at the scene before them, feeling sorry for whoever was inside the car since it was pretty impossible to survive in that kind of explosion.
