Tina returned to the dorm with a lot more on her mind that she’d hoped.
Her conversation with Tyler had ended with him once again offering she practiced with him and her telling him she’d think about his offer. There wasn’t much to think about though.
Gwen was standing by the corridor the moment Tina walked in and like she had been awaiting her arrival, she raised her head and waved at her. Tina waved in return, Gwen walking up to her to catch up with her.
“Where have you been?” Gwen asked. “Were you training?”
“Um, no,” she replied. “I was just outside.”
“Sorry, I left like that,” Gwen apologized with a sigh. “I was in a bit of a bad mood and just didn’t want to talk to anyone.”
