"Come on," Adam suddenly said.
Gwen blinked. “Where?"
"I'm going to talk to Riven."
“Do you think anything’s going to change.”
He raised his shoulders. “Well, there’s only one way to find out.”
Gwen stared at him. He was already walking away.
"Adam!"
He glanced back.
"Come on."
Gwen sighed and hurried after him. It didn't take long before they found Instructor Riven.
Adam immediately approached him, explaining the situation and asking him to reconsider.
Gwen stood a short distance away, watching.
For a while, Riven listened.
But the answer remained the same.

His decision was final.
Gwen's shoulders slumped.
Adam wasn't happy about it either.
"You're really not going to give her more time?"
"I've already given her more than enough."
