Gwen couldn't have cared less about Harry's reason for dragging her outside. The only thing that mattered was that she had somehow escaped the ritual. Relief washed over her so suddenly that she almost smiled. Almost. She forced herself to remain composed. The last thing she needed was for Petal to suspect something was wrong. She simply had to go along with it and act as naturally as possible. “I'll be leaving then.” “I'll go with you.” Miranda's voice caught everyone by surprise. She stepped forward before anyone could object. “You've already evaluated my powers, haven't you?” she said, looking directly at the witches. “You know how strong I am, so there's no point in me hanging around. I'll go with Gwen.” Without waiting for a response, she slung an arm around Gwen's shoulders
