Harry immediately frowned, Gwen simply letting out a sigh in response.
As grateful as she was to him for pulling her out of the room, she couldn't bring herself to entertain his delusions for even a moment longer. Other than the fact that it was almost impossible to get through to Miranda, with the situation they had gotten themselves into, romance had to be the very last thing on any of their minds.
“Just give up,” she repeated. “Don't waste your time. And if you really want to waste it, waste it with her instead. I can't help you with that.”
