All four of them spun around at once.
Tyler stood a few feet away with both hands shoved into his pockets, a lazy grin stretched across his face as though he hadn’t just startled them to death.
Miranda instinctively stepped in front of Gwen. “How long have you been standing there?”
As Petal’s partner other than Stefan, he had never particularly stood out to them. Mostly because he seemed quiet and his invisibility powers had never felt like an actual threat to them.
“Long enough,” he replied with a shrug.
“Long enough to hear?”
“Long enough to know you guys are about to head to the palace with no means of transportation,” he replied, giving Tina a quick glance as he did. “So, long enough to know how hopeless you are.”
