"What?" Liviana finally spoke, Aiden and Eris stared at themselves confused.
"Who are you?" Daisy asked.
"But- ain't you Daisy?" Aiden asked confused, he didn't want to care what was going on between them but he knew for a fact that they were definitely the ones at the market.
"I am" She looks at him, nodding her head, she wasn't denying her name but Liviana.
"Isn't she your sister?" Aiden asks again, this time in a much more serious tone.
"Am I in trouble?" Daisy says, earning a laugh from Aiden and Eris.
"No, you're not in trouble, so you-" he laughed more, sitting at the edge of the bed. "I would ask one more time"
"Why are you in the palace?" Daisy asks, Liviana gawked at her.
"Can I go now?" Liviana asks.
"I thought-"
"She doesn't know me, I think I better go"
"Forgive me, My lord!" Daisy falls to the floor, "For a dangerous play"
"It's okay, you take her," Aiden says, Liviana stares at her, while they stared at her waiting for her to get up.
"What's your name?" Aiden grips Liviana's hand, she looks at him and Daisy.
"Liviana," She says,
"Me? I am liviana!" Aiden closed his eyes, as soon as those memories popped in, "You have beautiful eyes," he heard himself say. He shakes his head staring at her, a flash of her eyes glowing he saw.
"Is something wrong?" Eris asked. Liviana looked at Daisy and back at him, she knew he could recall something from the past. The past of fourteen years ago. She had always saved him.
"Hmm, nothing" He looked at Liviana, "You have a beautiful name" he smiles, and she returns the smile looking away from him.
"Thank you," Daisy says, "You're such a kind man, My lord," She says, smiling. Liviana walked past him, following Daisy out of his chambers.
They both said nothing till they reached the palace kitchen, Daisy put on her apron and cap, and she went into a*****e nearby, picking out some ingredients.
"Wait here," She tells her "I would be soon be done with work" She continues with her work.
"Why did you help her? do you know her?" Eris says, as the door shut.
"Mind your business Eris" he walks to the cupboard opening it, her necklace was still in. should he have given it to her?
"It's not like you to just help someone? especially a total stranger" Eris smiles, He couldn't deny Liviana was attractive and must have gotten to Aiden.
"She saved me," he says, picking a paper, and a pen.
"She saved you?" Eris rolls his eyes, standing in front of him, a woman saves him, Aiden would never allow that.
"Yes, at the hunting" he raised his gaze at him, seeing him smile. "She was much more different, she looked magical, it was something I haven't seen," he says, unconsciously. Eris didn't understand what he meant by magical but Aiden wouldn't let a woman save him, he had so much pride.
"She?" Eris giggles, walking towards him, where he sat with a table in front of him.
"Eris, get back to work!" Aiden yells, throwing him a squeezed paper.
"Yes Sire!" he walks towards the bed. The chamber door opened and Kallias stepped in, in a white beautiful gown, her hair resting on her shoulders.
"Aiden!" she called, dragging her dress along with her.
"For Christ's sake, Kallias learn to knock!" he angrily slams the paper on the table.
"Father needs you at the court," she says, not even flinching.
"I have to ride out" Aiden stands.
"It's urgent," Aiden looks at her and Eris, her face really said everything was wrong.
"Is something wrong?" Aiden asks, placing his hands on his waist.
"There's a thief in the palace" Eris and Aiden stared at each other, Liviana was the first person that popped into their head.
"A man or woman," He says, to be sure she wasn't the one.
"A woman in her early 20s" Kallias tells them, walking out of the room.
Eris stared at him, waiting for him to say something, Aiden gulped, and he breathed picking up his jacket.
Eris followed as soon as she stepped out, Arriving at the court, the door opened for him, and he steps in.
"Father" He stepped forward, the lady had long straight black hair like Liviana, her clothes were different from Liviana's.
"Aiden, we caught her stealing food from the east store," Aindrea says, Aiden stood beside his father, the lady raised her face to him, she wasn't Liviana.
"So there was actually a thief" he mumbled.
"What's that?" King Aindrea stared at him.
"Oh, it's nothing father" he raised his gaze, staring at the Knights, his eyes meets Sir Owen. "Do you accept your crime?" he lowers his gaze to the lady kneeling before them.
"I just wanted to feed my family" She shivers, pressing her hands together.
"Father, it would be better to lock her up," He says, his voice softened.
"She stole from the King's store," King Aindrea says.
"It's only fair to give a fair judgement, death by hanging," Ales says, stepping closer, the whole court murmured to his decision
"Every crime in this Kingdom has a punishment-" Aiden tries to speak.
"He's right, death by hanging," King Aindrea says, Kallias stared at Aiden hoping he would challenge him.
"Father, she's only trying to survive"
"I don't care! she stole from the King's store!" The lady trembled throwing herself on the ground, begging for her life.
"I have two children Sire, please have mercy, who would take care of them if I am no more" Kallias gulped, Aiden looks away.
"Father please" Aiden begged, coming forward.
"There's nothing-"
"Father please" Kallias begs, interrupting Ales. The lady rubs her hands together her face filled with so much sweat and tears.
"Lock her up, I would think about this" King Aindrea says standing up.
"Father" Aiden calls,
"I said I would think about it!" King Aindrea, gawks at him, Aiden lowers his head. King Aindrea exhales loudly stepping out of the court with Ales by his side.
