Many thoughts were running through my head, but the most prominent one was that I could not let myself be taken.
I didn’t really care what happened to the other girls, but I knew I had to find a way out of the carriage. I craned my head backwards to look through the window behind me and saw that I could just about see the tops of the buildings of Royale City.
Even though the carriage was moving at a fast pace, we weren’t too far away. That gave me a bit of hope; if I got out now, I would be able to run back to the palace.
The carriage had a hard roof so that immediately was removed as an option to escape. The carriage doors couldn’t be opened from the inside, and because the portion of them that was glass was too narrow, I knew the only way to get out would be throug
