Cynthia’s POV I immediately rushed over to where Lady Addison was standing. “Something is wrong,” I said as soon as I was close enough to her. Lady Addison had been talking to a small group of the other girls, so when she turned to face me, she did so with a friendly smile on her face, clearly not noticing how frantic I was. “Lady Cynthia, what do you mean?” She asked in a calm tone. “Charlie’s carriage isn’t here yet, and I have a bad feeling something happened to her and to the other girls,” I said to her. “Calm down,” Lady Addison said as she put her hand on my shoulder.
