Charlotte’s POV
“Charlie!” The ‘reflection’ screamed, making me break out in a big smile.
“Cyn!” I screamed back before opening the door to the bar quickly.
As soon as the door was opened wide enough, Cyn rushed in and enveloped me in a tight hug. I made sure to hug her back just as tightly.
“Charlie!” Cyn said into my ear. She pulled back from me and held me by the shoulders. She briefly looked at me. “Charlie.” She said once again. This time there were tears in her eyes.
“Are you seriously going to cry?” I asked her. She nodded her head, which made me smile wider.
I took a moment to look her up and down, and I was happy to see that she was okay. There wasn’t a scratch on her, so I could at least rest assured to know that nothing happened to her while we were apart.
