Charlotte’s POV
It was definitely time for me to shift back.
Although my wolf had managed to guide us safely all the way to the city, the weird looks people were giving me were making me self-conscious enough to want to shift back. I also didn’t need to draw any attention to myself, as I wasn’t sure if I was being looked for by Prince Royce or not.
I was afraid he would drag me back, so I would have to move around carefully to avoid drawing attention to myself. Being in wolf form would definitely draw attention to me.
I moved behind a building and spat the bag that I had been holding in my mouth on the ground before thinking of myself in human form so that I could start my shift.
When I felt myself not shifting, I knew something was up with my wolf.
