Jake, Trish, and Trevor stood in the entryway of Glacier House. They were discussing the last tasks to be completed for the open house in two days. The open house was for the community to see what they had done and to help the community feel a part of this endeavor.
“Tomorrow afternoon your mom, Petra and I are going to make the beds. Petra will put some flowers in each room before people begin to arrive, while your mom bakes some cookies to fill the place with yummy smells,” Trish said.
“We will make sure the sidewalks are clear and not slick just before people are scheduled to arrive.” Trevor added, “Jason, the guy who is going to teach woodworking, said he would be here and have a project started to give people an idea of what he was going to teach. “
