My hair is gloriously curled at the ends. Sophia decided to pinned them on the top while the other strand of my hair is falling to my face. I'm wearing a minimal makeup, Sophia said I was more beautiful without any makeup on. I had a maroon matte lipstick and light smoky eyes.

"We're going to be late Riona. Come on! Let's rock it!"

Alpha Octavious Ehnzo's pov:

Tonight I was going to the Red Moon Pack for the Thanksgiving Ball. I don't know why am I so nervous. I had a feeling that my mate is going to be there.

I'm wearing an Armani suit and my mother's gift expensive watch. My hair is brushed up tonight. This night, I know that many she-wolves is going to drool on me. But I don't give a damn care about them.

I admit that I've been f ucking every she-wolves that comes to me. But I stopped when I turned twenty one, and now I'm four f*****g years restraining my needs. I wanted my mate. She's all that I need. Tonight I know that I will finally meet her.

"Alpha the car is ready" the voice of my bestfriend beta Matthew bringing me back to reality.

We arrived at the ball.  Alpha George Morgan greeted me as I entered the room.

"Welcome to the Thanksgiving Ball the alpha of the strongest pack! Alpha Octavious it's nice feeling your presence in here. Thank you for accepting my invitation." he said stretching his hand to take mine.

"Welcome Alpha George. It's always my pleasure." I said staring back at him.

"Well enjoy the night alpha." I nooded and headed inside.

'Your mate is going to be here. I can feel it' jhanus my wolf said.

'I know.' I replied back to him. Sitting at the table with my beta, I can sensed that many she-wolfs was eye-f*****g me.

"Alpha what's bothering you? You've been thinking since we arrived in here." my beta said.

Sipping my champagne, I replied "I had a feeling your future luna is going to be here."

"What? You mean... Your mate?" he asked surprised.

"Yeah, and I'm dying to meet her." "Wait do you smell that?" I asked sniffing the air. The scent of chocolates and hmm... cherries. The scent is going strong. I need it. I look around, but I can't f*****g find it. Where's that coming from? I frowned.

"Smell what dude?" my bestfriend asked me confusingly.

'Mate' my wolf jannus whispered to me.

"I can smell her, my mate, she's here. Her smell is going stronger. I need her, I need my mate." I said standing up from my seat and looking around to find her. My beta Matthew standing up and said...

"Maybe she's just arrived. Just look at the front door, many she-wolves is coming through there. Maybe the one that coming through that door is your mate. Look." he said while pointing his head at the entrance hall.

I whipped my head, the scent of her is so intoxicating.

But then, that someone just arrived was my ex. No she's not 'a girlfriend thing' she's just my 'bed buddy' when I was 19, but when I became 21. I ended it.

Sabrina Dein was flashing a full mouthed smile to Alpha George.Still a f*****g w***e. I smirked. Her dress was hugging her body like a second skin that made her look like a hooker. Her double D's saggy breast was pushed up. She wore a lot makeup. Disgusting b***h.

Then I looked behind her...

"She's here" I breathe.

My mate...

She's dropped-dead gorgeous.

She is so stunning.

'Mate!Mate!Mate!' jannus was chanting through my head.

She's  looking around and sniffling the air. Maybe she can smell me. She's wearing a maroon dress that have a slit upto her legs. Damned that legs. Not too long nor too short. Her eyes, Moon Goddess her eyes was light green. But when the lights shinning it to them, it's changing to darker and vibrant green. Her strawberry blonde hair was pinned to the top, while a few strands of her hair is beautifully falling into her round and cute face. Her marooned lips is slightly parted when she exhaled. I can sense her nervousness.

Someone hugging me from behind. Merda! I cursed.

I know it's her. This f*****g damn b***h!

As I turn around to face her, he grabbed my neck pulling me to her. But before she can kiss me, I pushed her.

"What the f**k you think you're doing Sabrina!" I hissed as I keep my voice down. Fixing my suit I glared back at her.

"Alpha Octavious it's been years since we ended it. Don't you missed me? Tell me who's she-wolf that warming up your bed after me?" she said seductively.

"Stop this Bri. I'm not falling from your trap. Sorry, if you'll excuse me, I have some business thing to do." I said while turning my head from where I last saw my mate. But she's not there.

"Fine! But I know you missed me Octavious... In your bed." she said while walking away. I sigh finally.

"So where's your mate?" Matthew asked.

"Stay here, I saw her earlier, but I got distracted by Sabrina and now I lost her. I'm going to find her." I said while walking to the entrance hall.
