Chapter Eighteen Scarlett woke up to a quiet house in the dark at two in the morning. She was starving after having hid out in her room, ignoring the two times her mom and then Ivy had knocked on her door. She wasn’t interested in seeing anyone, talking to anyone, as she sorted through this s**t of a day that had started out far differently. The fact was that her stomach now rumbled again, and it wasn’t going to let her go back to sleep.
