"Excuse me, have you seen a brown-haired woman pass by here today? She was wearing a black dress?"
"No, sir."
Rion asked the many people he met on the street, but none of them had seen Odette. Even so, Rion didn't want to give up. He continued down the road and hoped to find Odette.

At the Baster Inn, the news about Rion and Odette became the talk of everyone there. The news began to spread through the mouths of the guests who had left the inn to various places.
"I didn't think the king would do something like that. Even though I really admired him, because I thought he was a very loyal man. Wow, I'm utterly disappointed," said the female staff who was gossiping with Jacob and her other friends last night. Call her Serena.
She sat on the chair with her chin propped up. She put on a listless face because the king she idolized was not as good as she thought.
"I already suspected that it was impossible for the king to have not touched a woman for six years. He was a widower and still young. He couldn't possibly hold his s****l desire for six years. After all, s*x is a part of the needs of every human who reaches adulthood," said Jacob as he wiped the table in front of Serena.
Around them, there was other staff. They were also doing the cleaning, walking around, delivering, and taking orders from guests.
"Can't you filter your words before you spit them out? Your mouth is like trash," Serena said sarcastically at Jacob.
"How harsh. Jacob, if I were you, my heart would be split in two." A male staff member came and sat in the chair in front of Serena, next to Jacob. He added, "By the way, I just came back from delivering some guests' orders, they are all also talking about the same thing. I think this gossip will soon be trending throughout the capital.".
"Do you think the king will take responsibility and marry that woman? Honestly, this morning I was very sorry to see that woman, she looked very devastated," Serena said empathically about Odette.
"Tsk, you are so innocent, Serena. You don't have to feel sorry for such a sly woman. Don't be fooled by her fake tearful face." Jacob pulled a chair and sat down with his two friends.
"What do you mean?" Serena asked as she looked at Jacob sharply. She felt her friend had gone a little too far.
"If you listened to this you won't feel sorry for her anymore."
Near a pillar, Rion, who was still under disguise, stood still, listening to the conversation. He had been looking for Odette, and arrived back at Baster Inn.
He remembered the clothes that Odette was wearing yesterday were still inside the room. She left wearing the spare clothes provided by the inn staff. Rion finally went inside the building, intending to get her clothes, thinking that maybe he would find a clue about Odette's new workplace.
Although it seemed impossible for Odette to go to work in such conditions, Rion really didn't know where else to look for her. His steps soon came to a halt when he heard the three staff there gossiping.
His hazel eyes stared intently at Jacob, who was currently speaking.
"Last night, the king and the woman came together, and the king only booked one room for the two of them. Would any decent woman want to share the room and spend the night with a man who is not her husband?"
Serena was stunned. Jacob's words had a point.
Meanwhile, Rion clenched his fists. He booked one room so Odette could easily keep an eye on him. If he relapsed, she would know what to do.
Jacob said, "I think the woman is an escort. The king hired her to serve him in bed. He did it outside of the palace to avoid rumors and he also came here under disguise."
He added, "However, she found out who he really was and when she realized her customer was the king himself, she put on a show in front of everyone. She acted as if she had just been r***d by the king to shame him and then forced him marry her. In short, she was a b***h who wanted to be the queen and–"
SMASH!
The three of them were in complete shock when a huge vase suddenly shot up in their midst and shattered into pieces after it hit the wall.
After they saw the shattered vase, they looked in the direction of the vase and found the figure of a man with frizzy black hair. He stood near the pillar, while he gave them a murderous glare at them. His gaze was so icy, it felt like it was capable of turning them into statues.
"Those hazel eyes..." Jacob swallowed hard. His body trembled as Rion continued to stare at him with piercing eyes.
"Jacob, is he… the... the king?" The man that sat next to Jacob turned to look at his friend to ask for confirmation if the man over there was really the king. Jacob nodded slowly. He and Serena were very surprised.
They immediately feared for their lives. However, When they thought they were in big trouble, the goddess of luck helped them. Rion turned and walked away without saying anything.
When the king left, the three people immediately breathed a sigh of relief. Their bodies suddenly turned weak.

As night fell, Rion, who was still wearing his wig, caught the attention of everyone in the palace. Had they not seen the king every day and did not recognize his face well, they would have thought that the man was an intruder.
The maids exchanged glances when they saw the king stride quickly towards Queen Cristela's room. Her room was a place that he had never been to. The knights, Erika and Erina, who were standing in front of the queen's door bowed respectfully to the king.
"I want to meet that witch."
Erina knocked on the door and informed that King Rion came to meet Her Highness the Queen. A moment later, a servant from inside opened the door and invited the king to enter.
"This is a very pleasant surprise. I thought you would only come here when the crow's feathers turn white." Cristela was sitting on the bed, enjoying foot and shoulder massages from her maids. She got off the bed and stood to face Rion.
Rion didn't respond to his grandmother's nonsense. He stood with a rather sharp gaze.
"Do you want to say something?" Cristela asked as she understood the expression on her grandson's face.
"I want to get married," said Rion, which made all the maids in the room so shocked that they subconsciously opened their mouths.
Knights Erika and Erina exchanged glances. They were amazed at what the king had just said.
Cristela was also surprised, but she was able to control her facial expression, so it still looked normal.
"With who?" she asked quietly.
"Odette."
Cristela smiled. She liked this.
"From now on, I want you to take care of the preparations for my wedding to her," said Rion. He then immediately turned and left the room.
