"How is she doc?" I hear the unknown known ask.
"She'll be alright, she'll soon be up, so I advise you to get her food because all her energy has been drained" I hear an elderly man say.
"I understand" the unknown known replies.
"Can she leave today?" he asks further.
"Not, she needs more rest" the elderly man advises.
"Alright. Thank you again, for everything" the unknown voice said
"Anytime," the elderly man says. After brief seconds of adult-like footsteps, I hear the door open.
"She'll be fine. You don’t have to worry” the elderly man says, more like an encouragement.
"Waking up is all I need her to do, I'll be okay,” the voice says.
After a few seconds of the doctor smiling and the person who I’m sure sounds very familiar, staring at me… I think. The door finally closes and later on, I feel this hot sexy air over my face. Don't ask me how it's sexy, it just was.
"Come on babe, I know you're in there," the voice says.
Who? Babe? Me? Dude, you've got the wrong girl. Wasn’t I supposed to be opening my eyes and not having weird mental conversations with myself?
"Come on, you can do it" the voice whispers with so much encouragement and worry in it.
I don't know what is more annoying, the fact I couldn't just open my eyes or the fact the sun was unnecessarily bright. My stupid eyelids just stayed shut like it was a Saturday and they had nothing to do, and this is me fighting a battle I think I won’t win.
"You're almost there, come on now," he says giving me the strength I needed.
"That's it pumpkin" he finally says noticing I had opened my eyes a little bit.
What the…! What is he? Why is he? How is he?
So many questions flooded my mind immediately after I set my eyes on him. It's just the sun that's messing with my sight, I try to tell myself. Why would the sun make me see Enzo, Oly come on!
"Hey," he says with a seducing gesture, which he might think of as a smile. Focus Oly, focus
"Hey," I say back trying to digest the whole Hollywood scene I'm in right now.
"You know, looking confused is a good look on you," he says with a less seducing smile, so I like to assume.
"Confused? Me? No" I lie, trying to have my straight face on, because an opened mouth and frozen facial muscles aren’t what I need right now
"You're a bad liar, darling," he says with a chuckle.
"I wasn't lying," I tell another lie again, trying to sit up.
"Aahhh" I let out a short loud cry. My side hurts, feels like it is being torn apart from the inside. The excruciating pain makes me lay down back.
"Hey, easy now, princess," he says helping me lay back down.
"It's going to hurt, real bad, it's just been four days since the surgery," he says helping me adjust my pillow. I lay there waiting for the pain to reduce so I could say something.
"What do you mean by it’s been four days" I ask, finally getting my straight face on.
"You can't remember anything, can you?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.
"If I could, I wouldn't have asked," I said, playing it cool or being rude. Great job Liv!
"Good point. Okay," he says, about to narrate a story I'm sure.
"Yeah?" I say, trying not to overthink this situation and still paying attention
