King's Destined First Love

Chapter 1 ~ Her destiny ~ “What are you saying, your majesty?” a woman exclaimed in a bewildered voice; it was Elise's mother and the king's concubine.  Elise was the king's illegitimate daughter, and he was determined to send her away from the southern kingdom shortly; he had marketed his ten-year-old daughter. Little Elise remained behind her mother. She was shuddering from dread; she was so tense that she didn't even realize her small nails left a deep cut on her other palm.  Little Elise dropped her head; she felt she had to face the king's scary stare if she stared up. Elise has always avoided the king since childhood because whenever he looked at her, his eyes had only shown a dislike for her as if she were the vilest soul in the entire universe. "you dare to raise your voice in front of me? The king shouted; Elise and her mother felt their entire world was shaking.  "You ungrateful creature, we gave you two everything, yet you dare to refuse me, believe me, if you two dare go against my order. I will sell your daughter and you to a famous brothel. Both of you have to serve thousands of men all your life. You two better consider before saying anything; I’m not asking for your approval; I’m giving you an order. Ready to send her to the west kingdom or brothel," the king said in his harsh voice. Both have quivered in fear. How evil a father could be to his daughter, he was ready to send her to the brothel for his greed, Elise's mother wanted to revolt, but Elise grabbed the hem of her mother's dress "don't, mother" She was just ten years old, yet she identifies how cruel her father was to her, and she knows he would do as he says. "Father, I'll do as you said" Elise bent her head, the king grunted arrogantly. Elise and her mother took their leave. As they left, the queen frowned at her king. "Your majesty, do you think it's okay to send her to the west kingdom? The west kingdom is such a big kingdom; we should send our daughter, your majesty, not her"  The queen felt resentful; how could a b***h's daughter gain the title of queen of the west kingdom? "do you think I didn't want to send our daughter, but king Morris wants this girl because of the astrologer's prophecy,  When she was born, the astrologer said she was born to be the queen of the strongest king on the earth, and king Morris heard about this even though I tried to hide this truth from everyone. He wanted her to be the queen of his kingdom. Because he wants to make his older son the next king, and that's why he needs this girl. She is nothing other than a trophy for the next king, also King Morris willing to give us the southland, so it's not our loss, In the future, we will use this girl to make more profit" the king almost laughed at the last part; the queen's mood became better when she heard the truth. When Elise was born, an astrologer counted her fate, and he said something unanticipated. He said she would be the queen of the most powerful king on the earth. Her destiny would wipe away the obscurity of the kingdom, the subject of the kingdom would love their king, and everyone would live in glory. King Ford was not happy with this, so he threatened the fortune teller and hid this from the world; he even created misfortune for his subject to show Elise is a bad omen.  She would bring destruction for their kingdom, and it worked on everyone, but who knew the west kingdom's king Morris would find out his lie? So King Morris had threatened him and made a deal. That's why he had to agree; he hates this daughter of his because she was born from a lowly maid; the king was drunk when he had forced himself on the maid.  But he detests to accept this; he always blamed Elise's mother and Elise, that's why the king pours out his anger on Elise, he hates her face because his older daughter is not beautiful like Elise,  People always admire Elise's beauty. A few kingdoms even offered marriage proposals with the generous dowry, but he wished to keep her in the southern kingdom until Elise died. But the west kingdom's king ruined his plan. On the opposite side, Elise's mother hugged Elise and cried wistfully, "mom, don't cry" Elise wiped her mother's tears; her mother's heart ached when she saw her daughter's calm and composed act.  She felt bitter for Elise since her birth; Elise got no happiness; even though the king had enough wealth, he has never given Elise anything.  Because she was a maid's daughter, Elise's mother cursed the king to the root. Then, because of a night, not only her life got wrecked, the king ruined her daughter with her. The king considers Elise's mother to be a characterless woman, and he hates her to the core; after Elise was born from a night, his disgust shifted to Elise, causing his daughter's life a living hell.  Now he wants to send his ten-year-old daughter somewhere else like an object; he was a monster.' "Elise let's leave; we can go where no one knows us; let’s leave, my dear," Elise's mother said between her sobs. Elise shook her head "no, mother, I don't want to" even though she is a little girl, Elise has seen how men look at her with their lustful eyes. She knows how cruel the outside world was, and people are like hungry wolves; they would not spare any chance to tear them. She fears her mother would get hurt, and she couldn't do anything, so it's better if she goes to the west kingdom; at least her mother would stay safe there. "mother, I want to go to the western kingdom. If I destined to go there, I would go, when I become the queen, at least they will not treat you like this, so I’m willing to take this chance."
