Hannah thought of a logical reason for her to reason with Alex. Finally, Hannah finally found an excuse that would make sense if Alex heard it.
"I was stopping by a family's house, so I ended up by here to buy something," Hannah said with an awkward smile, hoping Alex wouldn't question her reasoning.
“No wonder, there's no way you'd go for a walk so far from your house. Oh yeah, is your business done? Our captain has asked when you will return to duty.” Luckily Alex believed and no longer questioned the problem of why Hannah had gone so far from her home area.
In her heart Hannah was grateful that Alex didn't prolong their chat about why she was here. Hannah went back to talking with Alex for a while, before finally saying goodbye to go first.
"Then I'll go first, I don't want my sister to wait too long." Hannah waved her hand at Alex and rushed to pay for her groceries and left the mini market as fast as lightning.
Hannah didn't expect to run into Alex on this fine morning, how could they just happen to meet like that. Hannah hoped that Alex hadn't been following her secretly, or else she might be caught living with Thomas.
. . .
When Hannah got home with her heart still pounding worried about the situation. Thomas also seemed to have woken up and had just left the room, he who saw Hannah's strange movements decided to go to the girl in the kitchen.
“Hey, where are you from?" Thomas asked, taking a seat on one of the bar stools in the kitchen.
Hannah stepped back slightly when she heard Thomas' voice from behind her, she lifted her groceries, "I bought some groceries for breakfast, we need to go buy more complete groceries."
Thomas was reminded of his desire to take Hannah away to shop for some of their household needs.
Then, Hannah said again when she saw Thomas' pensive response, “Can you accompany me this afternoon? I haven't brought my car here, so I can't go shopping alone,” Hannah said immediately explaining why she needed Thomas to go.
Thomas also nodded his head, "Okay, I'll accompany you shopping later. I'll take a shower first then," said Thomas, walking away from Hannah.
Hannah was quite surprised when Thomas agreed to her invitation, because he was ready to be rejected and scolded again by Thomas this time. Since Thomas had accepted his invitation, Hannah could cook in peace now.
. . .
As Thomas finished showering and was about to head out to accompany Hannah to breakfast, he heard his cell phone ringing and saw that Hector was calling him, apparently he wanted to inform him of an important meeting today.
"What happen?" Thomas asked directly without making small talk to his assistant first.
“I would like to report on the meeting that will be held today, sir. They will start at seven o'clock tonight, do you want me to pick you up or do you want to go to the meeting alone?" Hector immediately told Thomas about the information he had received to report to Thomas.
"Don't pick me up, just meet me there. Send me the full address, I'll be waiting for you there." Thomas immediately hung up the call after telling Hector his orders.
Thomas thought that at least he still had enough time to accompany Hannah today before she left. Thomas rushed out of his room and walked towards the kitchen to find Hannah.
"Thomas hurry up, I've been waiting for you for a long time!" called Hannah from the dining table in annoyance.
Secretly, Thomas smiled faintly when he heard Hannah's call to him, without wasting any more time, Thomas approached Hannah and sat himself in the chair opposite Hannah.
“Finally, being able to eat too. That sandwich is for you, I've prepared it for you too," Hannah said to Thomas, when the man arrived at the dining table.
Thomas followed Hannah's steps and ate the sandwich that Hannah had made for him. Then, Thomas looked up and looked at Hannah when he heard the girl speak to him.
“Hey, should we go after this breakfast?” asked Hannah turning to Thomas.
"It's fine, I don't mind it," said Thomas curtly.
Hannah's brow furrowed slightly when she heard Thomas' answer, then thought it seemed like Thomas had hit his head a little. The thing was, Hannah didn't expect Thomas to answer her without getting angry like yesterday.
Or maybe he was really angry yesterday, so he scolded Hannah loudly. Hannah relaxed as she continued her conversation with Thomas.
"Okay, we'll go after this. Looks like I'm going to buy a lot of things," said Hannah while thinking about what to buy later, to make her room completely filled, later she would need a lot of things.
“Are you sure you want to turn that empty room into your bedroom? Why don't you want to sleep with me?" Thomas asked quite seriously to Hannah, who was still thinking about what to buy next.
Hannah looked at Thomas confusedly, "Of course I don't want to, we got married because we were forced to have an arranged marriage." Without feeling guilty, Hannah said that to Thomas.
For some reason, after hearing Hannah's words, Thomas' heart felt a little sore. It seemed like he had to put more effort into his affection for Hannah, so that she would realize how Thomas felt.
Thomas took a shaky breath, holding himself back from yelling at Hannah, he didn't want to worsen his relationship with the girl, all he could do now was be patient and slowly make Hannah fall in love with him.
“That's up to you," Thomas answered shortly and resumed eating his half remaining sandwich.
Hearing Thomas' curt reply, Hannah just shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly and went back to enjoying her delicious sandwich. Feeling that she had not enjoyed this kind of food in a long time, usually in the office Hannah would eat as quickly as possible.
After finishing their meal, Hannah and Thomas immediately got ready to go buy their kitchen needs and also buy supplies needed for make over Hannah's room.
Even though Thomas was a little displeased at not being able to sleep with Hannah, at the moment he could only respect the girl's decision.
