Chapter 3: Best Friends Forever?

I have a best friend who I don’t normally mention to people, or really at all Bruno Andersson, he’s a delinquent and a goofball, he’s rarely at school though because of being in juvenile detention or being on probation, I heard from him today, he’s going to be at school again “hopefully full time Autumn I’m really trying for you, I don’t want you to be alone with them” his voice repeated in my ears even like 30 minutes after the call. He was always sweet to me but if someone hurt his family or me the sweet side faded, he said it was like a bull seeing red, he wouldn’t have anything to do but to just go straight for what made him mad, I’ve never felt that way, though I can think of how hard it must be for him; he said he’s attending the party as well though I never could’ve imagined that he would’ve gone despite the invite. Maybe he just wanted to see me, we haven’t talked in real life in at least 4 months if not more, we still frequently call on and off whenever he’s not in juvy but I hope he really is here to stay again. Well I wrapped up period 5 and 6 and I’m in period 7, I think school is so misunderstood sometimes, I mean yeah there are the Jocks and cheerleaders who pretty much rule the entire school but that’s irrelevant to most of the other kids at my school, no one really acknowledges them unless they need something.
