Pregnant?

“Miss Felicia, congratulations, the test says that you are one week pregnant,” the doctor said with a smile, handing the report to me.
“What?” I gasped in shock, feeling as my world started to spin.
“Yes, it’s true. I had doubts because you complained about indigestion, but it turns out you are expecting” Doctor Rudwulf explained.
“How could it be? I mean I have known a few pregnant people but they hardly came to know by their 3rd or 4th week,” I couldn’t help but ask.
“Miss Felicia, sometimes omegas like you have slow pregnancies, but based on the growth of the babies in your womb, it seems your partner is a rare dominant alpha,” Miss Rudwulf further explained.
“Babies? Dominant Alpha?” My eyes widened. I was having twins with some Dominant alpha which ceased to exist in this period of time.
‘How could it be? I just had a one night stand a week ago with a stranger and now I am pregnant?’ I thought, feeling my heart race in panic. I stood up slowly, my mind spinning with a lot of thoughts, and walked out of the door.
I had already been kicked out of my pack for falsely accusing the Alpha of adultery, leaving me with nowhere to go.
I had been hiding in a motel fearing that Kaden and his followers would find me. Without money and people searching for me, it was hard for me to survive.
With a heart full of fear and uncertainty, I walked back to the motel. I needed to pack my belongings leave the vicinity and keep myself and the babies safe before Kaden could find me.
But as I reached in front of the motel my body froze on its spot.
In the dimly lit parking lot, Kaden was standing with the other members of the pack with determination to destroy me.
I gulped in fear. I had still not decided what to do with the two lives growing inside me, and now, all I could see was approaching death!
“Look who has decided to show her filthy face,” Kaden sneered, his voice dripping with contempt as he stepped forward and blocked my path. “You thought you could run and hide from us?”
I stepped back as he marched forward toward me in slow steps. I was scared of Kaden, he was the supreme alpha and had a lot of packs under his command. If he decided to kill me, I would be dead and even if I tried to hide, his lackeys wouldn’t let me off.
“Ka–Kaden, please, I didn’t mean to cause any trouble. I just needed some time to think before I leave,” I said in a low tone.
“Time?” Kaden scoffed, “You have had enough time, Felicia. You have caused nothing but trouble since the day you set foot in my pack’s office. And now, I am going to make you pay for that.”
My body trembled with fear by the cold threats of Kaden. My voice quired as I tried to reason with him.
“Kaden, you know what relationship we shared, even if no one knows,” I pleaded with tears forming in my eyes. “Please, just for the sake of what we had once, let me go. I give you my word, I will disappear from your sight forever.”
Kaden shook his head and laughed sarcastically, remaining unmoved by my words.
“Kaden, I beg you to give me one last chance,” I begged again as I clutched my stomach.
I was still not sure if she wanted to keep the baby and now, it was even harder to keep herself alive but at this moment I decided to give birth to my children if I made it alive from here.
Kaden watched me in desperation and felt satisfied. He didn’t desire to kill me. Instead, he took pleasure in breaking my spirit. He wanted me to run all over the globe and live my life in constant fear. I could feel this just by the look he had on his face.
“Fine,” he said coldly, hiding the excitement in his voice. “One last chance, but don’t think this changed anything between us,” Kaden stated and took out some money from his pocket and threw it at my face.
“You have till dawn, take this money and disappear from this city. You run and I will chase, if my men ever catch you that will be the day you die!” Kaden announced.
I caught the money in my hand, took half of it, and handed the rest back to him, “I will take what I deserve. I served the pack honestly and I am taking this money as the repayment, the rest I don’t need it.” I put the money in his pocket.
I felt relieved that I was able to dodge the bullet. Now, all I needed was to run as far as possible where no one could find me and harm me.
“I assure you that I will never come back into your life, and if I ever did, you can do anything you want with me,” I reassured him and walked away from there.
Kaden watched my retreating back and smirked. He ordered his people to leave the place.
I ran to my room and locked the door from inside, I squatted down on the floor and hid my face between my knees. The pain I was feeling right now was overbearing.
“Babies, now you are all I got in this life. I will take care of you and raise you to be a better person, unlike that Kaden bastard,” I wiped my tears stood up in determination packed the little things I had, and rushed out of the motel. “I will leave this city to a place where no one can find me unless I want to be found!”
