Chapter 13

sophia's POV

When I woke up the next morning I was wrapped around Jack. I slid out of bed and got a shower. Once I was ready I walked to Lance's room and walk in. As I walked in he walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. He stopped when he seen me and chuckled. 

"What?" I ask innocently

"Nothing sweets. Stare all you want" He says

"I will" I say leaning against the door

I tiled my head and watched him get dressed. I took a picture of him buttoning his shirt. I posted it i********: with the caption of "This man tho. No matter what he always has me in knots" I post it and tag him and he looks it over. He chuckles and likes it.

"Ready?" He asks

I sigh but nod and we head out. When we arrive I was nervous and my hands were shaking.

"Sophia she will see you now" The secretary tells me

I nod and stand and Lance follows me. 

"Hey Sophia" Penny says

"hi penny" I mumble and take a seat

"Who is this?" she asks

"This is Lance." I tell her

She nods and writes something down. 

"And why are we here today?" She asks

"We thought it would be good to do a session together." Lance says holding my shaking hand

"That's good. Is there anything you want to put out in the open Lance?" Penny asks 

"I guess it just sucks. She has been through a lot and then one of my so called friends is the reason we don't have our daughter. I guess I kind of blame myself as well. If I would have kept a better eye on her we may have our baby" He says looking at out hands

"Sophia do you blame Lance?" Penny asks

"Yes and no. Yes to the part of his bullshit friend and no to me actually losing her. I know it wasn't his fault. Maybe if we weren't living together I would still have my baby" I sniffle

I refuse to look at Lance and he sighs and kneels in front of me. 

"Baby I don't blame you for blaming me. I'm glad you were honest. I love you and I'm so sorry this happened to you. If I could turn back the clock I would. I wish for nothing more to give her back to you. I'm so sorry" He says

I can see the tears in his eyes and I cave and start bawling. He wraps me in his arms and holds me tight against him. 

"Do you two feel better?" Penny asks

"So much" I sniffle

"That's all the time we have for today but if you wanna talk again feel free to come back" Penny tells us

I nod and stand and we head back to the house. when we got back to my house Lance held my hand and we entered the house. The guys were all in the living room watching tv when they noticed us. 

"How did it go?" Lex asks

"It could have gone better" I mumble

Lance squeezes my hand and I look at him. 

"It went fine. we cleared out the air and we still have things to work on but we will get there." Lance says

"Yeah sure" I mumble

"You ok?" Lex asks

"Yeah. I'm just a little tired. The last two days have been weird and crazy" I say 

"Why don't you go for a hot bath and a nap" Jack says

"yeah maybe" I say

Everyone looks at me strangely and then everything goes black.

Jack's POV

She mumbled and then she collapsed. I jumped up and scooped her up and laid her on the couch.

"Soph babe can you hear me? Open your eyes baby" I tell her

"Let's get her to the hospital" Lex says

I nod and scoop her up and we rush her to the hospital. When we get there they take her away and we sat in the waiting room for what felt like years. soon a doctor comes out and looks at us.

"She is under a ton of stress. She needs to relax. She is being put on bed rest for two days at the least. I'm keeping her from work for three weeks. If it gets any worse we will have to keep her in the hospital for three weeks" He tells us

"I'll make sure she stays in bed" I tell him sternly

He nods and and gives me her discharge papers and I walk in the room and lift her up and carry her to the car. When we get back to the house i pack our bags and I take us to the airport. We arrive back at the mansion and she heads for the barn. When I enter she was crying leaning against Grey. 

"I missed you buddy" She mumbles into his neck

"You know he missed you to. But baby you need to rest. Tomorrow we can come out here. For now let's get you a bath and in bed" I tell her

She nods and takes my hand and we head in. We head to my room but she goes to Lance's room and knocks. Lance opens the door in a towel and looks down at her. 

"Can i use the tub?" She asks softly

"of course. It's yours. Your things are still in the closet so get whatever you need." He tells her

She nods and steps in the room and he nods for me to come in. I step in and see her over in the corner looking at something. I walk over to see her holding a picture of her and Lance while she was pregnant. She places it down and sighs. 

"You can have it" Lance says

"No it's ok. You keep it" she mumbles

"Um the door is locked. If you wanna go in the key is in the safe" Lance tells her

"No i'm um ok" She says looking at him

He nods and walks in the closet and comes back with something. He hands it to her and she sits the box down and opens it. she gasps and lifts it up. It was hand made and said mommy of a angel. He takes it and places it around her neck.

"Beautiful" He tells her

She smiles softly with tears in her eyes. She runs her eyes down his chest and stops suddenly. She reaches up and traces the new tattoo. 

"I got it right after you left." He tells her

A sob breaks out of her throat and she falls into him sobbing harshly. 

"baby you have to calm down. please." He begs 

He looks at me with such pain in his eyes.

"I'll leave you two" I tell him

"Jack don't leave she needs you" he tells me

"no Lance. She needs you" I say walking out

I walk down to see Lex and Corey sitting there with pain filled eyes.

"You know she cares for you" Lex tells me

"Yeah I know but she loves him. I will never have her heart like he does." I say sadly

LANCE'S POV

I held her and she sobbed into my chest. It was so heart breaking to watch her go through this. There was a knock on my door and Dana walked in followed by Tanner and Nick. 

"Soph baby" Nick says

She continues to cry and he lays a hand on her shoulder and she sobs harder. Dana was crying silently and comes over and kneels by us. 

"Soph" Dana whispers

"Make it stop" She sobs out

"Oh babe if I could I would. I'm so sorry" Dana tells her

We all sat there just whispering soothing words to her and I looked up to see all the guys with tears in their eyes watching it all play out. Annabelle walks over and sits by me and lifts Soph's head up.

"Sweet girl I know your in terrible pain. I know how you feel. I can't tell you it will ever stop hurting because it won't. That pain will always be there but I will tell you it does get easier. You will love her til the day you die but look at all these people around you. They are here for you. They lost her to and no i'm not saying it's the same cause it isn't but look how many people love you. They love her just as much as you do. But one of your best friend's is pregnant and you have godbabies and another nephew that are going to need you. It may not be the same but you get their love just as much as you get Ariel's. We love you and we know it hurts but babes you can't let this destroy you. we know you need you need time to heal so does everyone but Lance lost his daughter to and it's killing him to see you like this. Look how much you helped me with I lost Bryan." Annabelle tells her closing her eyes at the end

Soph was still crying but no longer sobbing. She looked at Dana and reached over slowly letting her finger tips craze Dana's baby bump and smiles softly. 

"I'm sorry" She says looking at me

"You have no reason to be sorry baby. I know it's hard" I tell her holding her tight

"I'm sorry I've been so distant" She tells Dana

"Don't you dare say your sorry. I know it's tough i'm just sorry I haven't really been there for you. But I would like to be if you let me. We have missed you like crazy." Dana tells her softly

"can I?" Soph asks

Dana smiles and nods and Soph places her hand down on the baby bump and smiles. She shifts and leans down laying her head on Dana's baby bump and hums softly. 

"You know you have a wonderful mommy. She is going to love you like no other can." She says to the bump

She starts humming softly and a few tears leak down her face and Dana sniffles. Dana runs her fingers through Soph's hair and smiles down. She was still humming softly and then she grins.

"It's kicking" Soph whispers

"I feel it. It's the first time i've felt it" Dana says grinning

"I got a idea. Can I use you phone?" She says looking at me

I nod and hand it over and she turns on some music. She lays her head back down and starts singing and Dana giggles. Once the song was over Soph sits up and wipes her face and smiles at Dana. 

"He is going to love your singing" Dana says

"he?" Sophia questions

"Yeah it's a boy" Dana says

"Any names?" She asks

"I was thinking Jason" Dana says

"Ethan" Sophia says

"I like it" Dana says

Soph smiles and shifts again leaning back against me. I feel her relax and it makes me relax. 

"Boys come on in" Soph says

They run in and sit down around us and Lex reaches over grabbing Soph's hand. 

"Core" She says

"Yeah" He says

"What is this I hear about your parents wanting to visit?" She asks

"They want to visit with my brother and sister" He snarls

"let them. Baby it's time you stand up for yourself" She says

"I don't know" He says

"Corey we may be a f****d up family but we are family. it's time" She tells him

"What is going on?" I ask

"I was the mistake. my brother and sister were there prizes. I had to work for whatever I wanted in their house. I barely was fed cause they didn't wanna waste food on the mistake" Corey says lowering his head

Soph crawls over and hugs him tight. 

"Alright this is what we are gonna do. We are gonna make them eat their words. I want the house cleaned, Marcy can cook, I want everyone in nice clothes and we are going to make them regret it" Dana snarls

Everyone looked at her shocked and she glared at us. 

"Ok mamma bear. For now I would like to add something to the mansion. I think it's something we can all use when we have days like this" Soph says

"Ok what?"  i ask

"Well it's three things and it will cost a pretty penny." She says

"Ok spit it out" I say

"I was thinking of adding a theater room. And then a pool and hot tub" she says

"Oh i like that idea" the guys said

"Alright let's look into getting it done" I say

Soph smiles and leans into Corey. 

"Your easy to please" Lex says

"I am. I wanna be back home again. I missed you guys" She mumbles

"Oh babes we missed you too." Lex tells her

"How is the new baby?" Soph asks

"Growing so fast. He just started crawling" Lex says eyeing her

"That's great news" she tells him smiling

She yawns and everyone watches he closely and then she looks around the room. I know she notices Jack missing and she sighs. She stands and walks out and we hear a door shut. I sigh and I look to see the guys and Dana looking at me. 

"It's not my choice. If she stays I have to see her happy with someone else and if she's with me she hurts him." I sigh

Dana slides over and leans into my side and holds my hand. 

"As long as she is happy we have to be happy" She says looking at all of us

"Agreed. It's just hard watching someone you care about so much go through what she has" Lex says

"It sucks but she is going to be ok" Dana says

Sophia's POV

I walk into Jack's room and hear the shower running. I walk over and push the door open and walk in sitting on the counter. I watch him shower and when he turns off the shower and opens the door he jumps startled to see me. I hold up his towel to him and he slowly takes it. 

"Can we take things slow?" I ask

"Are you sure?" Jack asks

"Jack I love Lance that just isn't going to go away over night. I like you. But I also know I don't need to jump into anything just yet. I need slow to get my life back on track" I tell him

"OK baby. slow it is" He tells me

He leans down and kisses me softly and pulls back. He dries himself and slips on some boxers and I take the towel and dry his back. He gets dressed and we head down to the kitchen to see everyone sitting around. I see Lance eye me and I offer him a small smile and he gives one back. I walk over and start pulling things out to cook and I turn my phone on and Holes in the Floor of Heaven starts playing and I smile and start singing and cooking. I stopped what I was doing and got lost in the song and a tear slipped down my face. Once the song ended I turned on a more upbeat song and started cooking again. Once I was done I placed everything on the dining room table and looked around. Lance pulled out my chair and i looked at him and he nodded. I took a seat and sighed. I felt him lay a hand on my thing and run a thumb softly. I fix my plate and everyone follows and we eat and chat. I see Corey eating and talking to one of the girls and I smile. I look over and see Lance watching me and I give him a smile. Once I was done I leaned back and played with my necklace. 

"Sophia" I hear

I look up to see a little blonde looking at me. It was the same girl that was talking to Corey.

"yeah" I say

"Could I um maybe talk to you?" She asks kinda shyly

"Sure. Let's take a walk. I cooked so you boys clean" I say standing up

She followed me out the door and towards the barn. I seen Grey and smiled. 

"Hello my handsome man. How are you?" I say kissing his nose

"He is beautiful" The blonde says

"he is. He is my favorite guy in the whole world." I mumble

"Um so I like Corey" She blurts out

"Ok. And?" I say eyeing her

"I have liked him for a while. We have been talking but he is distant. I'm not like those other girls. I'm here cause my brother is in the mafia and he took me in after my parents left me. Hell I went to college graduated top of my class. I'm a f*****g lawyer for christ sake. I know you two are close and I didn't wanna give you a bad impression cause then he would never look at me again." She tells me with tears in her eyes

"Oh sweets it's going to be ok. Look I love Corey. He's been through a lot but he likes you. Just be patient and help him get through tomorrow night." I tell her

"My name is Lily by the way. And thank you. I didn't want you to hate me or think badly of me cause i'm here" She whispers 

"Oh babes i would never judge you without you giving me a reason to first. But I will warn you if you hurt him in any way shape or form you will deal with me" I say staring her down

She flinches and nods her head fast. She calms down when I back down and she eyes Grey. I grab her hand and slowly inch her toward Grey. I lay her hand on his nose and she rubs softly. He snorts and she grins and I giggle. 

"could you teach me to ride?" She asks

"Of course. Let me talk to lance about having some more horses brought in" i tell her

She nods and we head back into the house. 

"Lance" I yell

"In here" He calls

I walk down the hall and push the office door open and see him talking to a few people. 

"I can come back" I say

"no come on in. What's up baby?" He asks

"Could we bring some more of the horses in. Some of the girls are wanting to learn how to ride and I only have Grey here" I say

"why not teach them on your horse" A man says

"Not going to happen. I'll call your dad and have him send some over. And you need to sit down in a few days and interview a few ranch hands to take care your baby." Lance  says

I wince and he curses under his breath.

"I'm sorry love. I didn't mean it like that." He says standing in front of me

"I know" I whisper

"Why don't you go for a nap. You can use the bed" He tells me

"Yeah I think I will" I say

He kisses my forehead and I walk out closing the door. I see Lily sitting alone and I walk over ot her.

"Wanna have a nap with me?" I ask

She nods and we head to Lance's room. I close the door behind us and i walk in the closet and come back with silk jammies for the both of us. I strip down and change and she does the same. I get in on Lance's side and let her have my side. I notice she sees the picture of me and Lance and she looks at me. 

"You are beautiful" She says picking it up

"Thank you." I whisper

"I am so sorry about what happened. I know it's not easy." She says placing the pictue back

She lays down facing me and sighs.

"I lost my daughter when I was 32 weeks." She whispers

"How long?" I ask

"Four years ago." she says

"Does it get easier?" I ask

"Some days yes. Then some days no. You will always miss her and it will always hurt but yes I do think it gets easier as time goes on." She says 

She lays her hand on mine and leaves it there. I hum and close my eyes and let sleep take over. I don't know how long we slept but I was woke up to the door opening. 

"There she is" I hear

"Yeah I told her to nap. Looks like Lily joined her." Someone else says

"they look cute. lily was so worried what soph would think of her." I hear

I shuffle and roll over and clutch Lance's pillow to my chest. I peek my eyes open to see a few of the guys looking down at us. 

"hey baby. Nice nap?" Lance says

"Yes. We had the chance to talk and I feel better" I tell him

"That's great babe. now why exactly is Lily in your jammies in our bed?" Lance asks smirking

"Oh I thought about having my way with her" I tell him with a straigt face

I feel Lily roll over and wrap her arms around me and sigh. The guys jaws dropped and I giggle.

"She likes to cuddle" I say

"I'll say. And if you do that I want to watch" Lance says smirking

"why watch when I'll let you join" I say smirking

His jaw drops and Lily burst out laughing. 

"Alright every one out" Lily says

They all groan and walk out closing the door. 

"that was awesome" Lily says

"it was. And I was telling the truth" I say rolling over to face her

"I'll think about it" she says getting up

She goes to change and I wave her off telling her to keep them for our nap sessions. I tell her to send Lance in when she leaves and he comes in a few minutes later. 

"I want a threesome" I blurt out

He stops in his tracks and looks at me in shock. 

"You want what?" He asks

"A threesome" I say slowly

"Ok um with who?" He asks

"Jack and you" I whisper peaking up at him

He turns and walks out slamming the door and i sigh. I get up and walk in the bathroom lighting all my candles and I start the tub. I drop in two bath bombs and I turn the lights off. I turn on my music and place the remote by the tub. I slip into the hot water and I sigh. I lean back and close my eyes. I don't know how long I lay there but I hear the bedroom door open and close but I ignore it. Heaven by Kane Brown starts playing and I start singing along. Hands land on my shoulders and I jump slightly. 

"It's just me" I hear in my ear

I relax and enjoy him rubbing my shoulders. The water swished around and i opened my eyes to see Jack in front of me smirking. 

"oh s**t this is hot" He hisses

"I like it like this. It relaxes me" I say

Thumbs press into my tense shoulders and I moan and lean into the pressure. My feet are lifted and rubbed and I smile and lean my head back again. 

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Lance asks

"Yes. I wanna try. I've never and I trust you both not to hurt me." I say looking up at him

He nods and kisses my forehead.

"We are gonna need to open you up though baby. I'm not gonna lie it's gonna hurt. We are decent size" Jack says

"I have tried anal before so calm down." I sass back at him

Lance digs into my shoulders a I moan loudly. 

"Maybe we should wait til after tomorrow though. Corey is gonna need you and I don't want you sore" Lance says

"That's fine with me. Just don't stop rubbing" I say laying my head on his knee

Jack rubs my feet some more and there is a knock on there door. 

"Come in" I call

"Oh I can come back" Dana says

"Nonsense come in" I tell her

She walks over and looks down at me. 

"What's up?" Lance asks

"Well it's a baby question" dana says wincing

"Ask away" I tell her

"Well first we were wondering if you would be this little guys godmother?" She asks smiling

"Oh my. Of course" I say to her smiling

"and two we were looking for someone to design his nursery and Lance I seen Ariel's and was wondering if you would do it" Dana asks wincing again

"Um sure." Lance says swallowing hard

"If it's to much we can hire someone else" Dana says

"No of course not Dana. I would love to" He tells her

I smile and stand up and Dana hands me a towel and I wrap it around me and step out onto the rug. I dry off and slip on some clothes and walk downstairs to hear some music playing. I walk up behind Nick and wrap my arms around him. He chuckles and turns around and starts dancing with me. I lay my head on his chest and and sigh. 

"Sing for me sweets" He says

I sigh but start singing and I feel him grin on the top of my head. I see Lance and Jack walk in and look at me. The song ends and I pull back and Nick kisses my forehead. 

"I want a dog" I say

Everyone stops and looks at me and I see Lance smile. 

"You promised" I tell him

"Let's go to the shelter and if you don't find one there we can look into breeders" He says

"Guys wanna come?" I ask

"Sure. We aren't doing anything today" They say

I nod and we get in the cars and drive to the shelter. When I get out I noticed Lance drove to the biggest shelter. I grin and run over jumping on him and he chuckles and carries me inside.

"Hi how may i help you?" A blonde says smiling at Lance

"We are here to see about adopting a dog" He says

"Of course. Follow me and your sister can come to" She says grinning

The guys chuckle but I don't say anything. Jack wraps a arm around my shoulders and I frown slightly. She leads us in the back and I start looking around. 

"What's with the frown?" Lance asks

"I wanted to rip her eyes out but I can't say anything. We aren't together" I mumble

He chuckles and kisses my forehead and looks at me. 

"Baby i'm always yours no matter what. I love you. I don't care if you snap. Jack knows how you feel and he isn't mad. He is willing to share you heart." He tells me

I sniffle and lean into him. I feel another set of hands on my shoulders and a kiss on my temple. 

"If your happy then we are happy baby" He tells me

I peek up at him and he smiles at me. I nod softly and pull away from Lance. I start looking around and I see a Husky that was black and white. I walk over and squat down and he comes right up to the cage. 

"Hi there buddy." I whisper

He barks and I grin.

"Ah I see you found the one" A man says behind me

I turn to see he works here and I smile. 

"Yes I would like this one" I tell him

"Well there is a slight problem" The man says

"What?" I ask

"He has a female friend. they have to go together" He says grinning at me

"Um I don't know" I tell him 

He steps closer to be and I step back and arms wrap around my waist. 

"Did you find your new friend baby?" Jack asks eyeing the man

"i did but he comes with a friend" I say

"Lance" Jack calls

"Yeah?" He says walking over

"Our girl found her new friend but he comes with a friend. They have to go together" Jack tells him

"If you want him baby then we can get both. We have the room" Lance says

I smile and kiss him softly. 

"Did you find one?" The sickly sweet voice comes from the blonde

"Actually I did. I will be taking the husky and his friend. And by the way I aint his sister I'm his wife" I say glaring at her

Her jaw drops and she gulps and scurries away.

"Since when did we get married?" Lance whispers in my ear

"Don't f**k with me right now Lance." I snarl at him

"Hmm i like when your all fired up" He says kissing up the side of my neck

I push him back and walk back to the husky. 

"Hi buddy. I gotta name you two. Got any ideas?" I ask

He stares at me and I open the cage and he pounces on me and I notice his black fur turns into grey. 

"What about Storm?" I say petting him

He barks and I giggle as he licks my face. I can hear the guys laughing but I don't care. 

"here is your girl" The man from earlier says

I sit up and see Grey and white husky. 

"Hi girl. Zena for you girl? You like your gonna be my warrior princess" I say petting her

She barks and I smile. 

"Alright baby. Get your babies and let's go to pet smart" Lance says walking up

"But we gotta adopt them" I say

"Already done." He says

I smile an I stand up and we head to pet smart. when we get inside I grab everything I see that I like for them and I pay for it all. We get back to the house and I set everything up for them. A hour later the guys come in and pull me outside. I smile when I see they fenced in a part of the house for the dogs. I hug them and kiss all their cheeks. I kiss Lance and Jack and we head back inside. 

"Storm, Zena come" I shout

In a minute they were by my side and I smile. 

"Alright boys let them sniff you so they know you. They will go through training for attack dogs just encase"  I say

The boys let the dogs sniff them and then my babies came back over and sat by me. 

"Hey babe the new horses are here and you need to talk to the ranch hands" Lance says

I nod and head out the door with Storm and Zena on my heels. A few of the boys follow me and I see all the horses waiting. I walk up to Harley and he kicks at me. 

"Harley knock it off you knucklehead. I will take away your apples" I snap

He snorts and hangs his head and then looks up at me and moves forward bumping my head with his. I smile and pet him nose and kiss his big nose. 

"I want him on the end and then Joker will go next to her. They get along well. As far as Penny put her next to my Grey. I want this nameless guy in the pin so I can work with him and come up with name for him." I say

"And who are you?" A man asks

"I'm your boss. If you f**k up once that your ass and your job. Now who is the head?" I ask

"Me ma'am" A older man says stepping up

"Alright. Let me make this clear I am your boss. You will respect me or I will have you on your ass. I'm the only female in this house so there are plenty of men in there willing to die for me but let me make it perfectly clear I don't need them to handle any of you I can handle you on my own. But one important thing you and you alone will be handling my baby. If something goes wrong with him it's your head" I tell him sternly

"Yes Ma'am. My men understand. Now which lovely boy is your baby?" He asks

"Grey. He's three and my whole world." i tell him

"Understood. Now boys get them cooled down and fed. And Mason watch your tone" The man snarls at him

"Yes sir." Mason says and walks away

"Oh i'm Roger by the way" He tells me

"Sophia" I say shaking his hand giving it a squeeze

"My wife would like you. You have a backbone" He says chuckling

"Well when your a only child and you grow up with your dad's friends kids that are all boys you tend to not let them walk over you" I say smiling

"Good to know" He says smiling at me

"Also I will be expanding and will start breeding. If you can't handle it I can call someone else in but one other person will be coming in that I trust so I trust you two can work together with my babies" i say

"Of course Ma'am" He says

"Alright. Scott will be here in a hour" I say

"Of course ma'am" He says

"if you need anything come up to the house." I say

"Alright. When would you like lunch to be?" He asks

"let's say around 1. Come on up and lunch will be waiting" I say

He nods and pats my shoulder and heads into the barn. I walk back to the house and walk in the kitchen and get to cooking. Once it was done all the men were waiting on me. 

"Did everyone clean up?" I ask

"Yes" Lance says walking over to me

He leads me to my seat and pulls my chair out and I sit. Once I was seated everyone else sat down. 

"Everyone dig in" I say

Everyone started eating and felt a hand on my thigh so I look up at Lance and he raises a brow at me and I look at him confused. The hand slides higher and I look over to the Mason guy and he smirks. I grip his hand and bend it backwards and I stand up slamming his head into the table. Everyone jumps and looks up but doesn't move.

"If you ever try to touch me again I will remove your f*****g hand. Am I understood?" I shout at him

"Um sir" A man says to Lance

"Nope she warned you all fair and square." He says picking up his glass

"Do you understand?" I snarl at the piece of shit

"yes" He grits out

I let go and he stands up and slaps me. My boys gasp but don't move. I move my head to look at him and I grin. I swing and deck him and then I kick him between the legs and I lay into him and by time I was done he was knocked out and I sat back down and picked up my drink and took a drink.

"Get him off my property" I say

Corey stands and and walks over picking the boy up and walks him out. The ranchhands were staring at me and the boys chuckle.

"How?" Roger asks

"All boys" I say

"Woah" Another one says

"I warned him. And that was easy compared to what I can do. Just ask Lance he's sported black eyes and dislocated shoulder, broke fingers, and jaw all at once" I say smiling

"Really?" Roger asks

"Yes. That was a fight I don't wanna repeat" Lance says winking at me

"You know you deserved it but you know I love you" I say to him

"I did. I said I was sorry" He says

"And I forgave you once I was done" I say smirking

"True." He mumbles

"Hey we are past that I promise" I say

He chuckles and shakes his head and kisses my forehead.

"You really have to meet my wife. She will love you and want to adopt you" Roger says

"I think I'm a little to old for adopting" I say laughing

"Nonsense" Mar says walking in

"Is not" I say

"Is not. Tom and I adopted you" She says

"That's because I'm your baby" I say

"That you are kitten" tom says kissing the top of my head

"How come you two never had kids?" I ask eating my food

"Kitten Mar can't have kids" Tom says 

My jaw drops and I gasp.

"How come I never new this?" I cry

"We were ok with it. we had you and we were fine with it" Mar says shrugging

"But adoption" I say

"We looked into it and they said we weren't financially stable for adopting" Tom says

"But now.. your still young" I cry

"Baby we are in our fourties" Mar says laughing

"That's still young. It doesn't have to be a baby. a teen would work" I say pushing

"Kitten we live here and take care of things here. We don't have the room" Mar says

"Um no. We are fixing this today." I say standing up and walking to the office

I stand doing my research and Lance comes in and just watches me. Once i was done I was exhausted but Lance pushed my plans through and called the contractors and paid extra to get it done. 

A week time skip

I walked in the kitchen to see Mar talking to Tom and I smile. 

"Can you two come with me?" I ask

They nod and i lean them to a golf cart and we get in and I drive down a path and when we arrive they look at me. 

"I had it built for you two. You have room and I went through all the paper work and you two have been approved to adopt. You just need to decide if you want a boy or girl" I say

Mar looks at me with tears in her eyes and she hugs me tight and she cries. Tom wraps his arms around both of us and I smile.

"I think a boy. I like being the only girl" I say  

Tom chuckles and looks down at me.

"I agree. We have our princess." He says looking at Marcy

she grins and kisses my forehead.

"Well looks like we have to go choose our son" Mar says

I smile and lay my head on her chest.  In that moment I was so happy to have helped the people that always looked out for me.
