Part of me wanted to read what the vampire had to say to me, the other part did not want to know. I know whatever he has to say to me will not make any difference to my situation. But I did want to know, out of a morbid curiosity I guess. I know I should not be worried about what a vampire that just drained me of blood has to say, and I should throw this letter away and never think of it again.
Making up my mind, I crumple up the letter without looking at what is written on the inside. I stood up from my bed and walked over to my desk. I have a trash can there beside my desk, so I throw the letter away.
I watch with a frown as the letter sinks to the bottom of the trash can.
