When we heard werewolf noises, I knew they couldn't be in a peaceful state. For one thing, they were in wolf form, and for another, the sounds they made were hunting and tracking sounds.

I wanted to run away immediately, but Alice wanted to pee. Seriously?

At first, I must confess, I only wanted to kill her. How does someone think about that when they're being chased?

When she asked me to gather stones or when she requested me to cut my hair, I did it immediately. Not because I thought I should, but because I wanted her to hurry up.

I could understand her plan when she threw the rocks mixed with fluids, dirt and hair dispersing our scent throw the area. Genius!

We ran for a long time and decided to head towards the river.

I remembered Alice saying something about chewing our scents so they wouldn't find us, so I suggested swimming in the river.

I used to enjoy swimming in the lake in our kingdom as a child. I have many happy memories of that time when our only concern was to have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Alice became terrified when she realized we would have to jump into the water.

Mia, Alice's wolf, became agitated. "You're going to kill us, i***t!" she yelled inside my head.

I chose to ignore her and focus on Alice. I tried to think of a way for us to jump. I thought a plan would reassure Alice because she appeared to be very rational and methodical. I was so wrong! Alice collapsed due to a panic attack. Really?

Look what you've done, stupid girl! Mia growled, restless and through insults. It looks like Mia is not a polite wolf. In every sentence she spoke, she swore or insulted.

I didn't have a shot. I had to bolt and drag Alice with me. With great difficulty, I wrapped my arms around Alice's body and threw myself and her into the deep water.

I swam under the water as soon as we dove until I found Alice's body. I snatched her and dragged her to the surface. To help her breathe, I used mouth-to-mouth inspiration.

You tried to kill her, b***h! Mia's angry voice said loudly and angered.

Alice regained consciousness, but panicked (again!). Her lack of control pushed me to the river's bottom. After a few moments of despair, Alice regained control.

We floated for quite some time. I felt the sun burning the skin of my face. Everything was so peaceful and my body could relax a little.

Go see if we're past the forest yet, brainless woman! Mia commanded constantly. I won't even think about the insults she was making along the way, it felt like I was in hell and with a demon in my conscience.

When we finally saw the forest behind us, I looked at both banks and opted for the one that seemed the best.

We swam to reach land. When I was finally able to rest my body, sitting up and trying to regulate my breathing, I heard a hostile voice, "Who are you?".

Alice yelled, making full use of her voice and lungs, "s**t!"

There, I had reached my limit!

I lost my husband! I lost my home, my kingdom!

Not enough, I lost the figure I had closer to a mother!

I ate only one apple in 24 hours!

I couldn't search for survivors from my kingdom!

I almost drowned!

I was chained to some crazy wolf because I couldn't block Mia due to my weakness, and now this???

Oh no! No! No! No! The Moon Goddess can only be kidding.

"Don't point your finger at ME!" I yelled at the warrior, unafraid of the consequences. No, I will not accept any more problems!

Alice looked at me shocked, her mouth was open. She blinked several times, without moving an inch.

Stupid Girl, Mia insulted me again.

NOT NOW, you b***h! Or you are able to help, or you can retreat and be quiet! I replied menacingly in my conscience.

"Saucy," the warrior replied with a certain amusement.

"Respect me or kill me. I don't care!" I threw up my hands as if in defeat. In fact, at this point, I really don´t care!

"Please excuse her. She's been through a lot. We came here to swim in the river. Maybe too much sun burned her brains out." Alice pleaded with the man who, at that moment, was looking at us curiously.

"You are a rogue." He said, pointing at me.

"But at the same time, you have a slight odor as if you belong in a pack. What an unbelievable mix." He said, running his finger across his nose as if trying to understand.

Alice kept her eyes open, also absorbing the information. I guess it´s because I have Alice´s wolf.

"And you, you are a long way from home," he said while watching Alice's body. By the way, her body was completely on display. Her dress became transparent and stuck to her body. It left little to the imagination. In the werewolf world, nudity is something almost as natural as breathing, but she is in her human form, and he is a man after all.

"Do you know my pack?" Alice asked hopefully.

"No, I don't recognize the scent. That's why I know it's from afar." He guessed it.

"Get up. I'll take you to Alpha. Let him decide what he wants to do."

We had no other choice. We could fight, but this could also be an excellent opportunity to seek assistance.

In fact, we are too weak, and our wolves have yet to fully recover their abilities. But it's reassuring to know that we don't fight because we don't want to. Dreamland is a wonderful place to be.

We walked for quite some time. We discovered a dirt road. There were farms on both sides of the road. Corn, wheat, and rice were visible. Dozens of people worked the land. It's incredible!

We eventually arrived at a training facility. Mia was becoming nervous and restless but in a different way.

I saw two men approaching us. Both exhibit an aura of dominance. I guess one of them is the Alpha.

When they were close to us, I heard Mia screaming in my head, "Mate!"

Oh no, no!

"MATE!" The handsome man in front of me yelled, gazing at me with a bewildered face.

"NO!" Alice screamed in pure shock and pain.

I turned my body towards her, also in shock. Her face was red, her eyes full of unleashed tears... My heart breaks at that moment.

"Mate!" I heard the voice again, now whispering.

My mate! Mia echoed in my head.
