SERENITY The pain in my leg was excruciating. I saw the bone sticking out, making me sick to my stomach. I knew escaping was most definitely impossible at this point. "You really thought we would let you escape?" "f**k you." Vito laughed. "You won't learn until I kill you the same way I killed Rosey. A nice, slow death." "When they find me, you'll rot in prison with no one to help you." "It's far too late, love. The police won't find us, especially once you're dead and gone." "I promise I won't tell anyone if you just let me go." He smirked and pressed down on my leg, a scream escaping my lungs. "Don't touch me." His hand moved away from my leg and slid up my back. "Or I could just all the organs Dale missed last time." He stood up and I suddenly heard the sounds of sirens in the background. "You aren't as smart as you think, asshole." I crawled away from him, but I felt the knife blade go through my back over and over again until everything went dark. VITO I looked at Serenity, lying lifeless on the concrete. "She sure doesn't listen, does she?" Dale shook his head. "The b***h plays, she'll pay. As she should."
