“Hi Shana and Jillian,” Kyle greeted us with a big smile on his face that made me frown. He usually keep his poker face so what’s with the sudden change?
I don’t know why but he really makes me irritated whenever I see him. Having no choice, I just sat beside him.
“Hi,” Jil greeted him also that made me roll my eyes.
“What’s our subject for today?” He asked.
I just ignored him because I don’t want to ruined my day.
“If I’m not mistaken, our first subject would be Speech?” Jil said as she look into her bag to find her copy of our schedule.
I look at Kyle who is waiting for Jillian to find her copy of schedule and guve it to him.
Doesn’t he have his own copy? Tss.
“By the way Shan,” Jillian turned to me. “Let’s eat at the usual late? I have something important to tell you.”
The usual that she is talking about is the garden at the back of our building wherein usually there are no students around.
I just nod at her as a sign of agreement.
“Where is that?” Kyle suddenly asked.
“It’s at the-”
“It’s none of your business so stop asking,”I told him and didn’t let Jillian finish what she’s about to tell him.
“You know what Shana-”
“Don’t call me Shana,” I told him and glared at him.
“You know what SHANA, you’re beautiful but you’re to snob. It’s like you’re having your menstrual period everyday,” he said emphasizing the name ‘Shana’ that made my face turned to red because of the anger I felt for him.
Shana is the nickname my Mom and Dad use to call me and hearing someone call me that just reminds me of their painful death.
“Kyle,” Jillian called him to warn him but he just smirk at me.
“You know what Gallens-”
“Kyle is the name,” he said and even gave me a wide smile.
“You know what GALLENS, stop acting like you’re someone important! You’re so arrogant! Amd stop pestering me! I told you stop calling me Shana!” I yelled at him that made him shock but I don’t care. I just left the room as everyone’s eyes are on me.
He is just frustrating!
I wipe the tears that suddenly fell from my eyes. I didn’t even notice that I was already crying because I remembered the last words that my Father told me.
“Shana listen to me, okay? No matter what happens, don’t come out of this room, huh? Don’t come out unless your mother and I called you.”
*
I was so shock when Shana suddenly lashed out at me. Just because I called her first name she became that angry? Tss.
“You shouldn’t have done that,” Jillian told me.
“I just called her by her first name! What’s the big deal on that? Tss.”
“Her Mom and Dad were the only people who call her by her first name. And whenever someone calls her by Shana, she can only rememeber how her parents got killed,” she explained
“Killed?”I asked. She nod at me.
“No one believes her when she toldthe poloce that they were murdered because of lack of evidence. They just concluded that it’s a suicide.”
What she told got me shock. Nikki told us that they already passed away but she never told me how they died.

I was at the rooftop and just looking at nowhere. Breathing some fresh air can really ease my mind.
“Shanel,” someone called me and saw Elysse when I turned around.
She sat on the floor and rest her back on the wall. She just close her eyes and breath the fresh air.
“What are you doing here?” she asked with her eyes still closed.
“I just want to breath some fresh air,” I told her And just look at her. Elysse seems nice although her face lacks in emotions.
“What about you?” I asked her.
“I just want think some things,” she said.
I don’t know how we stayed there but no one said another word between the two of us.
“Do you believed in magic?” Elysse suddenly asked that made me startled.
And what did she just said? Magic? Is she asking this just to breal the ice between us?
I can’t help but laugh. Maybe she’s trying to lighten the mood. But I stop right away when I saw her opening her eyes and looking at me directly.
“Sometimes,” I just answered and sighed. “I think there are things in this world that can’t be explain by science.”
“Like what?” she asked again.
I stared at her. Not knowing if I should tell things about me for someone like her.
In the end I just look away from her and started telling my story.
“When I was a kid, there is this girl who always appears in my dreams. I don’t know but whenever I dream of her, it always felt so real. Whenever I’m sad, I will surely dream of her and I will just wake up with a light feeling. It’s like she is taking my sadness away. But I never dreamt about her again. The last time was when my parents died.”
I look at her again and there I saw her smile. A ver beautiful smile.
“Oh! I forgot. I have to go now. Jillian might be looking for me,” I told her and run.
-
The first thing I notice when I got at the back of the building is it was so dark and cold. I saw Jillian but she’s not alone.
“JILLIAN!” I yelled her name when I saw her lying on the bamboo bridge. She’s unconscious and there’s this dark thing in front of her. It’s like it is trying to sip something I can’t explain that came from Jillian.
I got it’s attention when I yelled. One second he just look at me and then suddenly attack me.
I screamed for help when it came to me but no one is around to hear me. This thing is like taking my energy and the air I breath. I could barely breath when I saw someone coming.
With my blurry vision, I recognized that it was Kyle.
“Dementor?” I heard him say.
“Să fie lumină!” he said again that I didn’t understand while pointing his forefinger at that thing he called dementor.
After saying those words, a small light came out of his forefinger pointing at the dementor. Then that light grew bigger and bigger that it was so blinding and I close my eyes.
When I open my eyes again, everything is vack to normal. Gone the darkness and the cold feeling. That dementor this is also nowhere to be seen.
“Shana,” Kyle called me and walk towards me. I slap his hand when he tried to touch me and move away from him.
“Get away from me, Gallens! Who are you?!” I yelled at him. I could even feel myself trembling from fear. “What are you? How can you do that?”
I wipe my own tears. He tried to touch me again but I yelled at him and move away.
“How can you do that? And what kind of creature is that?!”
I went to Jillian who is still unconsciousand thank God that she’s still alive. Kyle on the other hand didn’t answer any of my questions amd just bow his head.
“I can’t tell you anything Levin because we’re not sure about you yet. But...”
I couldn’t move away when he suddenly came to me and touch my head. He said something vague which I didn’t understand and suddenly everything went black.
*
“Uita sa întâmplat.”
After I removed her memory, she just pass out amd I just caught her. She can’t find out about our real identity until we know for sure that she’s the one we’re looking for.
But what she said earlier, that dementor attacked Jillian first so there’s a big possibility that Jillian could be the princess. Three days before their birthday, the daerk spirits will surely come for the princess just to get her and eat her soul.
I carried both of them and made them sit under the big tree where they will think they just pass out when I notice something.
Her shirt was hitch up that showed her stomach. From there there is birthmark that is very familiar.
If I’m not mistaken, it’s the symbol of the Glacies. Could it be-
Jillian is a few meters away from us. I took out the necklace that the prince gave us and I was right. It was shining so bright. But Jillian is also here so instead, I put the necklace on Shana’s neck hoping something different will happen.
After putting it on, it stop shining so brightly and I thought that was it.
After a few seconds it started shining so brightly than ever before that it could light up the whole place! The symbol on the necklace’s pendant also suddenly change.
It stop shining after a while which made me see clearly the symbol of the pendant. The symbol that we can’t understand before had changed.
“Lumen princess,” I said while smiling and looking at Shana’s face.
“K-kyle? What happened to Shanel? Did I fell asleep?”
I ignore her and carried Shana again. I need to bring her to the prince.
“Hey! Kyle! Where are you taking her?!” Jillian said and stop me.
“Let me through, Jillian. I must bring her to someone that she needed to know.”
“B-but-Wait Kyle!”
I walked faster as I carried her in my arms to the parking lot.
“What happen?” Clyde asked when I bump into them. He’s with Jana and Elysse.
“The necklace...what happened to the necklace?” Jana asked when she saw the necklace Shana’s wearing.
“I’ll explain later. You need to call Jiro and tell him to come to the mansion. You should also go there. I’m taking Shana to the prince,” I instructed and the just nod in agreement.
I put Shana on the passenger seat and walk around towards the driver sit. I put our seatbelt on and started driving towards the mansion.
We finally found her.
