THAT QUEEN

CHAPTER 7

‘’You can always run away, Miss Amanda. But you can’t run away from your own people who are waiting for you to rule.’’ 

I sighed and I looked at the orange-colored skies. Feline’s words are tormenting me that I can’t even focus on my work and it’s making my headache so much. 

‘’Are you ready, Amanda?’’ It was Dianne and I looked at her. I nodded and we went outside going to the conference hall.

"I don't even know why we need more meetings like this," I said angrily and sat down. We are in the conference hall for the final meeting for the Medical Mission tomorrow.

'' It is for Amanda's final meeting. Also, Mrs.Sanchez is here on behalf of her husband who cannot go. '' Ashley said next to me.

"Also, for your information, you are the Vice-President so you must be here." 

We are all in front of the Hall now and facing all the doctors, surgeons and etc who have chosen to go. Overall, there are 500 people going. They are from those volunteers in the Spade Empire and also in other branches of St. Croix Hospital.

I sighed and just put on my glasses. Since my eyes are really blurry. Add that I have astigmatism.

I was busy looking through the files when Ashley stood up so I stood up too. 

Mrs.Sanchez smiled at us wearing her usual elegant outfits. I saw her handbag which is one from a famous designer in Italy.

'' You look so healthy Mrs.Sanchez. '' I smiled. I shook her hand and she just laughed.

'' I took all the accounts when you told me. '' She said. I just nodded.

'' I am going to talk with your private nurse to review your health count. '' I told her and we accompanied her to sit down in the middle beside Itzan.

Izhan smiled at me and we sat side by side. I was left behind when I saw itzan passing at us but it looked bad on Izhan especially me.

'' Damn, this is a suicide. '' I heard him whisper beside me.

I looked at him confused '' What? '' I whispered back. He just shrugged and looked at Ashley beside me then to me.

'' Can we please exchange seats? '' He pleaded with his eyes. I rolled my eyes at him.

'' Maybe you just do something to her Izhan. '' I raised my brows and it just smiled.

"Nah, I won't embarrass my baby in front of these people." He smirked at me and came closer to me.

'' I prefer doing it in my room. Besides, I may not be alive later because of the one next to me, so please Amanda. If you still want to see your best friend marrying and having kids, I suggest that we switch seats now. '' He pleaded and I almost laughed because I could feel his nervousness. I  just shook my head and nodded.

'' Fine '' I grunt and I saw him exclaimed. I just shook my head and saw Ashley's bad look at me. I just shrugged.

So, Our position now is I am sitting between Itzan and Izhan.

Uncomfortable, I drank the water in front of me and continued to revise the documents. Since the others are still not coming to the board so have not started yet.

I looked around and I saw Zion with some doctors and Dianne with a few nurses. I was shaken.

These days, I feel that Zion is also not joining us. As if it were avoiding, not only me but also Dianne and Ashley.

I looked at Dianne's behavior and I saw her smile at me. I also smiled back at her.

I suddenly remembered my conversation with Feline. How I finally knew the whole truth about Dianne's identity.

I sighed and looked at the behavior of the board members' chairs. They are already here so I know it will start. I was about to turn off my cellphone when a message suddenly came.

'It's already starting sweetie, You are doing well. See you soon Mi Princesa. 'I smiled because I knew who it was from.

'' Turn it off. '' He said next to me. I looked at Itzan and it looked at my phone. His eyes are dangerous and his jaw tightens.

'' Excuse me? '' '' I said turn it off,'' he said darkly.

'' And who are you to order that to me? '' I told him and faked a smile. He just looked at me and again I was mesmerized by his blue ocean eyes.

I just averted my eyes and coughed fake. I closed my eyes for a moment because I remembered how much I used to praise him. How I loved his blue ocean eyes, Until now.

'' It's so beautiful here Itzan. '' I told him. He gave me a glass of mango juice.

We are now sitting here in the sunlounger of their private beach here in Britannia. I would have liked to have Nova Icaria, it's a famous beach here in Britannia and I would have liked to go there but Itzan told me there are too many people and it's crowded since it's summer.

'' I am glad you like it. '' He said and sat up.

He took off his wayfarers and smirked at me. I just laughed and swallowed while looking at its entirety. He's topless and just wearing beach shorts so I can see his muscular arm and his ripped 8-pack.

I averted my eyes. But he pulled me closer to him and he kissed my hair. We are lying down now but still, I feel so uncomfy. Let's say, it is because he's so clingy.

'' Barcelona is really beautiful. Especially the ones we went to earlier. '' I whispered. He stopped kissing my hair and played with my hand.

"We are going to Bilbao tomorrow." I moved away from him a little and raised an eyebrow.

''Buluita? '' He nodded '' It's an 8-hour drive from here. So let's just chopper. Trust me, Buluita also has some beautiful and relaxing places to offer for you, Mi Amore. '' He whispered and planted some kisses on my neck.

I was stunned by the tickle and woke up. I glared at him and he just chuckled and motioned me to come.

'' Come here baby. I wanna kiss you. '' I was pissed when it pouted but later smiled.

'' No! I know what's in your head now Itzan. '' He just laughed.

'' Really? I just want to kiss and hug you, baby! '' He said.

I shook my head because I already knew what it would do. He smirked and got up when I ran. I was laughing and then he suddenly caught me and he pinned me to the ground softly.

We laugh while he's kissing me while he's on top of me. We are still in the sand but it seems like we just don't have it. I chuckled. How I love this man.

He stopped kissing and I looked at the sky. The sun is setting. I looked at him and He's looking at me.

I smiled and he also did. I looked to his ocean eyes that caught me first off guard the moment I met him. It's those eyes that I always loved and is always in my dreams.

'' Do you know that I always loved your eyes? '' I lovingly said and he just smiled at me. 

'' Really? '' I nodded. I saw how his eyes sparkled because of what I said. I cupped his cheeks and pecked his lips.

'' And I will always love your eyes. Especially you, Mi Amore. '' I Whispered and brought his lips close to hers.

'' And I love everything about you, Mi Bella Amore. '' He said and kissed me torridly under the sunset.

I opened my eyes and I felt a drop of tears on my cheeks. I immediately wiped it off and focused on everything. I saw Ashley done with greeting the board and it looked at me.

I nodded at her so she could start. 

He went on stage and picked up the microphone provided by one of the VRs.

'' I saw you wiped your tears. '' I looked at Izhan who spoke next to me.

He was looking at Ashley who was talking in front and it was serious.

'' You did? '' I faked a laugh and saw it shake. I just turned around.

'' Still, affected? '' He said, stopping me. I just shook my head.

'' Really? Because it seems that you do. The two of you. '' He chuckled so I frowned.

''Please Izhan, Don't do that '' I said and looked at him intently.

He looked at me and smirked. '' I am not Amanda, Also, I do not think that madman can get mad at you. '' He smirked and we heard a whisper from across me.

I looked at Itzan and I saw him glaring at Izhan. I heard Izhan chuckled and patted me.

'' Told you right? '' He said and pouted at Itzan who was now looking at me.

With his blue ocean eyes without emotion. I just shook my head and averted my eyes. I adjusted my seat because we might even be put on the front page because of what Izhan is doing.

After all, It was me who betrayed and left him. He's mad. I know it.
