Chapter 9:The Prophecy
Alessia's mind was reeling as she tried to process the revelation. She was a werewolf? What did that even mean?
Alexander's eyes seemed to gleam with excitement as he began to explain. "You, Alessia, are a direct descendant of the ancient werewolf bloodline," he said. "A bloodline that has been hidden for centuries, but is now rising again."
Elijah's eyes narrowed, his face tense with skepticism. "What do you mean?" he growled.
Alexander smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I mean that Alessia is the key to unlocking an ancient prophecy," he said. "A prophecy that foretells the rise of a new werewolf pack, one that will bring balance and harmony to the supernatural world."
Alessia felt a shiver run down her spine as she listened to Alexander's words. A prophecy? What did it have to do with her?
Elijah's eyes locked onto hers, and Alessia saw a flicker of concern there. "What does this mean for Alessia?" he asked Alexander.
Alexander's smile grew wider. "It means that Alessia has a crucial role to play in the supernatural world," he said. "A role that will require her to embrace her true nature and take her rightful place as the leader of the new werewolf pack."
Alessia's heart was racing as she tried to process the weight of Alexander's words. A leader? Her? What did it even mean?
As she looked at Elijah, she saw a flicker of reassurance there. "We'll figure this out," he said. "Together."
But as Alessia looked at Alexander, she couldn't shake the feeling that they w
ere in grave danger.
