Meeting the Pack

Third Person POV

Blood Moon Pack

Rebecca was getting really tired of her mates doting on her hand and foot. She is not used to being coddled and she won’t stand for it.

“Please just stop. I already told you I am fine. The pack doctor also told you I’m fine. I am going back to the pack house. I have to call Nightshade and inform Xavier that his son’s body is here,” Rebecca says. Without giving them time to  speak, Rebecca goes to her office. 

Rebecca sits behind her desk and pulls up the contact info for Nightshade Pack.

“Hello,” a deep gruff voice says.

“Hello. This is Luna Rebecca from Blood Moon. May I please speak with Alpha Xavier?” She asks.

“He’s busy at the moment. We’ve had something come up,” he says.

“Who may I ask who's speaking?” She says.

“This is Beta Marcus, Luna,” he says.

“It’s about his son, Travis,” Rebecca says.

There was a huge roaring growl on the other end and lots of smashing. 

“He challenged me this afternoon for Alpha of this pack. I asked him to reconsider but he insisted. Please I’d really like to explain what happened to the Alpha himself,” Rebecca says respectfully. 

An angry, sad, but confused voice came over the line.

“Did you KILL my SON?” Alpha Xavier asks.

“Please Alpha, may I tell you what happened?” Rebecca asks. This is not how she wanted the day to go.

“Yes,” he says painfully.

“This morning I was awaiting the arrival of Princes Elijah, Frederick, and Greyson. Just before their arrival Travis came to our borders requesting entrance. I allowed him and he challenged me for Alpha. I asked him to reconsider after reminding him that challenges are to the death. He insisted the challenge take place. I accepted the challenge in front of three Royal Warriors whom I commanded not to let any interference occur. The Princes arrived in the midst of the challenge and it took the majority of my warriors to keep them subdued until the end. I am so sorry but your son lost the challenge. Your pack is one of our strongest allies and I’d hate for this to change that,” Rebecca says.

“I understand Luna Rebecca. He was very upset that I am planning on stepping down and handing the pack over to my eldest son. He said if I didn’t give him the pack he’d take one and attack our pack. His own family. I thought I had convinced him to stay but he left in the middle of the night. That was two days ago. When I felt our connection break I knew he had perished. Thank you for telling me what happened. I will not let this break our alliance. I hate that he used the passing of your mate to try and take your pack. For that I am sorry,” Alpha Xavier says.

“Although I miss my Gregory the Moon Goddess saw fit to bless me with a second chance. Three actually,” Rebecca chuckles.

“Three?” Xavier asks.

“Yes. The goddess has blessed me with Prince Elijah, Frederick, and Greyson as mates,” Rebecca says.

“Congratulations. That is wonderful news. I am happy for you,” Xavier says.

“And I’m sorry for your loss. My men have taken your son to the pack hospital where he will be cleaned up and prepared to come home. I can send my warriors to return him to you for burial if you’d like,” Rebecca says.

“I will come for him myself if you don’t mind,” Xavier says.

“I don’t mind at all,” she says.

“Then I shall see you tomorrow morning,” Xavier says.

“Please give your Luna my sincerest condolences. I can only imagine how she must be feeling,” Rebecca says.

“I will,” Xavier says.

They say their goodbyes and Rebecca hangs up her phone. There is a knock on her door and she calls for whomever to come in.

“It’s us,” Eli calls.

“Hey handsome. What are you three knuckleheads doing here?” She asks.

Elijah frowns, “Who told you?”

“Drake,” she laughs. “He told me I was going to have my hands full with you three. He wasn’t wrong.”

“Hey, don’t lump us in with these two clowns,” Eli pouts.

“Aww baby. Did I hurt your feelings?” She says making her most innocent face.

Elijah is across the room in a second with his arms around Rebecca’s waist.

“I like when you call me baby,” he says.

“Is that right, My Alpha?” She says seductively in his ear. She then bites his earlobe earning her a growl. All three of them surrounded her and Eli took the opportunity to kiss her. Frederick and Greyson began kissing the sides of her neck. It was strange for her to have three men at once but she was enjoying this too much to stop them. The two attacking her neck began massaging her breasts as Elijah dropped his hands down to her ass giving it a good squeeze.

“Oh Goddess,” Rebecca moans.

Three growls echoed in the room and it made Rebecca’s core weep.

“Wait. We need to stop,” Rebecca says, coming back into her senses.

“What’s wrong?” Greyson asks.

“Nothing. I was enjoying myself. Probably a bit too much,” she says, fanning herself with her hand.

“Then why did you stop us?,” Frederick asks.

“Because I need to address my pack first. There hasn’t been anyone since Gregory and as much fun as this is I don’t need gossip to spread,” Rebecca says.

‘Amy. Please call a mandatory pack meeting immediately,’ Rebecca says through the pack link.

‘Yes, Luna’ Amy replies.

“Let’s head to the meeting hall,” Rebecca says.

Rebecca leads the triplets to the grand hall of the pack house. Once the pack is done filing in Rebecca steps up and addresses the pack.

“Good Afternoon Blood Moon Pack. I have called this meeting to discuss the events that took place this morning. While waiting for the Princes to arrive I was challenged in front of the packhouse by Travis, son of Alpha Xavier of Nightshade pack. As you can see I won the challenge. That is not the only reason for the meeting. Some of you may know that the Goddess Selene came to me and told me I would be blessed with a second chance mate after the tragic loss of Alpha Gregory. Well that moment has come in strides. I would like to introduce you to my mates Prince Elijah Mikaelson, Prince Frederick Mikaelson, and Prince Greyson Mikaelson. We will get back to you soon to arrange their Alpha ceremony. We also have three Beta blood Royal Warriors staying with us. One of them will be our new Beta. My Princes, would you like to address the pack?” Rebecca asks.

Elijah steps forward.

“Hello Blood Moon. My name is Prince Elijah Mikaelson, these are my brothers Frederick and Greyson. We are honored to be here. We came to Blood Moon to help Luna Rebecca establish leadership and help train your warriors. We never expected to meet our beautiful mate. We came to Blood Moon to assist Luna Rebecca establish leadership after Alpha Gregory’s passing, and after the challenges by the former Beta and Gamma. We have brought with us three Beta blood Royal Warriors, one of whom will become your new Beta. The other two may choose to return to the Palace or stay as members of Blood Moon. We will be implementing morning and afternoon training until we can assess the caliber of your warriors. This pack was one of the strongest under Alpha Gregory and it will be again. These two remarkable women have kept this pack together and safe. We would be honored to become your Alphas. We would like the warriors to gather on the training field in fifteen minutes to begin. Thank You, Everyone,” Elijah says. He turns to Rebecca and speaks. “I will take Freddie with me to meet the warriors. Grey will go with you and Amy to begin reviewing all the pack business. Then we can meet in the dining hall for dinner. Sound good?”

Everyone nods and they all get to work.
