Hellhounds

Third Person POV Rebecca and Greyson got to work in the pack office. Turns out Amy really knows her stuff. She kept everything so well organized that Greyson had no problem seeing where they could make improvements.  On the other hand Eli and Freddie were not having as much luck with the warriors.  “Why don’t you have a head warrior?” Eli asks. “He perished alongside Alpha Gregory. Our Gamma never got the chance to appoint a new one. The rest of us just continued training as we had before,” A warrior says. “How many warriors do you have altogether?” Freddie asks. “We have thirty-eight warriors left. Some we lost in the attack and some left to join other packs,” he says. “They just left?” Freddie asks. “Luna Rebecca said she wouldn’t keep anyone here who couldn’t remain loyal to the pack and to her so they left,” the warrior says. “Alright I’d like everyone to pair up and we can see where you need improvements,” Elijah says. After two hours of training they decided to call it. “Alright everyone. That was a great start. With some work we will be able to whip you all back into shape. Let’s get some dinner and we’ll be back out here every morning at 5:30am. We train six days a week minimum four hours a day. Those of you who need extra help will train with myself or one the other Alphas until you get the hang of it. We will also allow anyone male or female, who wants to become a warrior to begin warrior training immediately. Warriors, dismissed,” Elijah says. Everyone dispersed and Elijah and Freddie began going over the training plan and patrol schedules on their way to the dining hall. Just as they reach the packhouse all the warriors burst through the doors. “What’s going on?” Freddie asks. “Rogues on the North border. Luna is getting the women and children to the bunker,” a warrior says. The warriors shift and head towards the North border. Elijah and Freddie shift and split off one going in from the East and one going in from the West. ‘Grey is everyone in the bunker?’ Eli asks through the mind link. ‘Yes I just secured the bunker. I’m on my way to the North border,’ he says. ‘Please tell me Rebecca is in the bunker,’ Freddie asks. ‘I wish I could but our mate is stubborn. She refused. She left Amy and two warriors guarding the bunker and she and I are heading into the thick of it,’ Greyson says. ‘Keep her safe Grey,’ Eli says. ‘With my life,’ Greyson says. When the Alphas and Luna arrive there is chaos. The pack warriors are fighting their hardest but there are so many rogues and it seems more are coming. ‘Freddie. Get back to the palace and get a battalion back here immediately,’ Eli commands.  Of the three Eli has always been the more dominant due to being the first born. The other two have never had a problem with Eli bossing them around. Freddie teleports himself back to the palace and mindlinks his battalion of warriors. ‘Mom, Blood Moon is being attacked by rogues. I am teleporting my battalion immediately’ Freddie says through their link. ‘How many?’ Midnight asks. ‘Too many to count. Blood Moon has barely any warriors left,’’ Freddie says. ‘Why didn’t Rebecca tell us?’ Midnight asks. ‘Now’s not the time mom. I have to get back to her,’ Freddie says. ‘To Blood Moon or Rebecca?’ Midnight asks. ‘She’s our mate mom. Luna Rebecca is our mate,’ Freddie says. ‘We’re leaving now I have to go.’ Freddie doesn’t leave room for a reply. He quickly opens a portal and the warriors run though. When he gets back the rogues are everywhere. ‘Where is Rebecca?’ Freddie asks. He can’t smell her on the battlefield. ‘She ran back to the packhouse. A few rogues broke through the line and went towards the bunker.’ Greyson says. Freddie growls and commands ten warriors to go with him and the rest stay with Greyson and Elijah. Freddie gets back to the packhouse and he sees Rebecca’s wolf fighting off two wolves at once. She is fierce and beautifully deadly. Before Freddie could reach her she killed both rogues. Out of the treeline Freddie sees two animals coming out of the forest. They’re wolves but not the human kind. They have spiky bones protruding from their spines and their mouths are filled with razor sharp teeth. Their jaws don't seem to be connected and from deep within their bodies you can see flames. Rebecca shifts back to her human form and runs over to Freddie. “What the hell are those?” She asks, pulling a long shirt over her naked body. Freddie shifts back to his human form still fully clothed. “I have no idea,” Freddie says. ‘Guys get your asses to the packhouse, we have a problem!’ Freddie says through the link. ‘We’re on our way. The warriors are taking the live ones to the cells,’ Elijah says. ‘Hurry the f**k up!’ Freddie says. The two beasts attack Freddie and he fights them off as best he can. They are clawing and biting him but he can’t seem to do any real damage to them. It’s like they feel no pain. Just as one of them was going for Freddie’s throat both were lifted off of him and were floating in the air. Midnight steps through a portal and has both beasts in her telekinetic hold. “Mom, what are these things?” Freddie asks. “I don’t know,” Midnight says. Midnight chants opening a portal and three cloaked figures walk through. Rebecca has never seen these people before and she can feel their strong magic. She takes a step behind Freddie and grabs hold of his hand. Elijah and Greyson rush to her sides and the three of them surround her. She feels so safe within their protective circle. “Who are they?” Rebecca asks. “The Triad,” Greyson answers. “Salem’s strongest witches,” Freddie says. “And our Aunts,” Elijah says. “They will not harm anyone here. We’re protecting you from those beasts, not our family.” The Triad lower their hoods and Rebecca sees three beautiful women circling the beasts floating in the air. “What are they?” Midnight asks. “Hellhounds. Mindless killing beasts sent here from hell,” Jane says. “How do we kill them?” Midnight asks. “Iron or an angelic blade can kill these beasts,” Sukie says. “Do you have a sword?” Alex asks Rebecca. “Any weapons we have are made from silver. Taken from hunters and rogues,” Rebecca says. “I’ve linked Boston and Connor to bring their mate. Maybe Mikayla can help,” Midnight says. Freddie has started sweating and he feels weak, but he assumes he’s just tired from the battle. ‘You ok bro?’ Greyson asks. ‘Fine,’ Freddie says. Boston Connor and Mikayla step through a portal. The moment Mikayla steps through the hounds begin fighting Midnight’s hold with everything they have. Mikayla sees the hounds and pushes her mates behind her. Her body begins to shine with her inner light and white pierces everyone's eyes. When they can see again Mikayla clothes have shifted into shining silver armor with gold accents. It’s probably the most impractical armor Boston and Connor have ever seen because even though their mate is hot as f**k the armor barely covers her body. The armor covers her chest and shoulders but ends just below her breasts. Her stomach is bare and the skirt is short. She had armored arm guards and golden boots. Her huge white angel wings are about a foot taller than her and reach all the way to the floor. Her wingspan is just over twelve feet. Her hair is down and blowing in the non existent breeze held back by a shining silver and gold tiara that rests on her forehead wonder woman style. The belt around her waist holds two long swords. The hounds drop from Midnight’s hold and charge towards her. Mikayla begins running full force towards the hounds. Mikayla hits the first beast, sending him flying into a tree with a gash on his underbelly. She cuts the leg off of the other beast who is still charging towards Midnight. The hound yelps in pain and Mikayla stabs it through the stomach. She stabs the beast in the heart and it’s body bursts into flames and crumbles to ash. Mikayla is in between Midnight and the hellhound waiting for it to get closer. Mikayla’s wings lift her off the ground and she shoots towards the hound. Before their bodies collide Mikayla spins, sword in hand, and lands on the floor gratefully. The hounds head goes flying and just like the other bursts into flames and crumbles to ash. Mikayla rushes to Midnight and begins shining her light from the palm of her hand all over Midnight’s body.
