CHAPTER TEN Around eleven o’clock, Anna informed Mark that they had received new information about Mr. Jones. The manager who took care of the building where the murder took place had sent it over to the police. The detective had already started to comb through it and promised Mark that she would come to him as soon as she had some news. An hour later, Mark checked on her progress, but he found out that, unfortunately, those papers hadn’t helped too much. Jones did own the apartment in that building. Nevertheless, there wasn’t much in the file sent by that manager. It contained only a copy of the document proving Jones's ownership and the receipts for maintenance payments.
