Kade’s POV
Grandfather was transferred to rehab about 2 hours away. We promised to visit him weekly even through he insisted we didn’t have to. I have a long business trip coming up at the end of the month and I told him I would reschedule but he insisted I not do that. He also suggested I take Chloe with me even though I was skeptical I figured she could use a little get away too. I called Chloe into my office and within a minute I heard a knock on the door.
“Come in” I said.
