Kade’s POV (6 months later)
My phone rang as I sat at my desk doing work it was carol.
“Hello” I said answer the phone with concern in my voice. Carol usually didn’t call unless something was going on with grandfather.
“Kade” Carol said in a shaky voice “your grandfather he’s in the hospital he has suffered a heart attack, come quickly please and bring Chloe.”
She hung up before I could ask if he was okay. I rushed from my office quickly making my way to Chloe’s office. Chloe jumped as I burst into her office she had a concerned look on her face.
“What’s going on? Is everything okay?” She asked.
“Grandfather had another heart attack he is in the hospital get your things and let’s go, now!” I snapped at her before exiting her office and heading straight for the elevator.
