CHAPTER 33

Just like yesterday, I had breakfast with Michael, then spent the morning and afternoon working for Jenny at the diner where Sebastian and the others came go pick me up so we could all get ready for the announcing of my joining the pack ceremony.

Grace and Stacey had picked out my outfit for tonight's gathering because my choice in clothing isn't up to their complete standard, for something formal anyway. They chose an elegant pale blue coloured knee length dress, which would go with some black high heels. However, I compromised with them the dress or the heels, they chose the dress so that allowed me to wear black coloured flats instead as I really didn't want to fall on my face.

"Carter you look beautiful!" Grace and Stacey said coming in to see me fully ready.

"Thank you, so do you guys!" I respond

"Sebastian will be up soon! You both need to walk into the ceremony together." Stacey says admiring the dress.

"Stacey, have you had much time to read any if those spells yet?" I ask her

"Oh I have! There is so many good ones that will defiantly come in handy! I feel like we will need to have some girl time to practice some together!" She tells me, I smile as I agree.

"I was actually thinking the same! Maybe tomorrow night we can start since it's a Friday night and use don't have school? Jenny told me to take the weekends off." I say eager to practice.

"Sounds good to me! I've already caught up on all school we had to do." She said smiling at me.

"Seriously! You've finish all that work already!" Grace asked shocked

"Yeah it was easy as!" Stacey says

"Maybe for you!" Grace says laughing.

Suddenly there is a knock on the door as it slowly starts to open, Sebastian and Curtis come into view.

"Wow, you look amazing Carter!" Curtis says

"Thanks Curtis! You don't look too bad yourself." I say smirking at him, Sebastian lets out a low growl.

"Obviously not as good as Sebastian." I quickly add giggling at his response. He walks over and grabs my arm so he can link it.

"Are you ready my princess? You really do look breath taking." He says looking me over in a lustful way.

"I'm as ready as I will ever be!" I say still slightly nervous.

Stacey, Grace and Curtis all walk out of the room first and we follow, they have prepared the gathering of the pack out the back of the pack house which is decorated with beautiful lighting above our heads through the trees, There are big tables covered with drinks and snacks for everyone to have.

We make our way through the crowd to Luna Lisa and Alpha Isaac where he then proceeds to get everyone's attention.

"Good evening everyone! Thank you all for coming tonight. I have gathered you all here today to announce to you all that my son your future Alpha has found his mate, your future Luna." He said turning to usher us up to the stage, where Sebastian and I stood side by side facing everyone.

"I would like to formally introduce to you all Carter Morgan, Your future Luna." He said and everyone cheers and clapped.

"Now you can all enjoy the rest of your night mingling around the pack." Alpha Isaac said standing down to head to Luna Lisa.

Everyone was so lovely as they all came to welcome me into the pack and introduce themselves. I was so happy that they all accepted me and welcomed me into their pack, Sebastian noticed and showed a proud look on his face.

"I told you everyone would love you!" He whispers into my ear, I smile.

"I know, just coming from a pack that didn't I really didn't know what to expect." I admit to him, which his hugs me tightly and says, "Now you have a pack that love and accept you, that also include me." He says staring into my eyes, I look at him with a confused look as I fight with my wolf over whether he just told me he loved me or not, he giggles to himself and adds " Yes Carter, I love you too." Pure happiness is all I am feeling I cannot wipe the smile off my face. As we proceed with the night, I spot Michael chatting away with Jenny, so I make my way over to greet them.

“Fancy seeing my two favourite people here.” I say cheekily, they both laugh

“We wouldn’t miss tonight’s events for anyone.” Jenny responds with a smile

“Exactly, this is a special night for you after all granddaughter in-law.” Michael adds.

I smile “It means a lot to me! Thank you for all your help and support with me settling in here.

“The pleasure is all our Carter! Now go enjoy your night! My grandson can not seem to keep his eyes off you!” Michael says, ushering me towards him.

The rest of the night went by pretty quickly as things started to wrap up, Sebastian and I headed up to our room to catch up on some much needed sleep, things have finally started to look up I just hope that it stays this way.

A few weeks go by with countless weekend magic training with Stacey we have both almost mastered everything Nancy had written in her book, I had special combat training with Curtis and Sebastian to help them but also keep me where I need to be strength wise. I went to work every week day morning until 4pm and had breakfast with Michael, it has kind of come a tradition with us now. Everything had been running smoothly between Sebastian and I along with having no sign of Tomas.

It was coming up to my Graduation Ceremony that I am going back home for to be accurate it was in 2 days and Luna decided that I was having the day off work to go shopping for my graduation gown as a treat, I wasn’t to thrilled with the idea but I couldn’t say no, so after my usual breakfast Michael dropped me back off to the pack house so Lisa and I could go shopping.

“Are you excited about heading back home in 2 days?” Luna Ella asked

“I am I can’t wait to see my dad, Maney and Charlie!” I respond excitedly

“I bet they can’t wait either, now I promised your dad you would be wearing a dress for the ceremony, but Grace warned me that you like to compromise on foot wear if your made wear a dress.” Lisa says smiling at me

“Well, I can’t wear heels they are just so uncomfortable, so yes if I must wear a dress then the foot wear is my choice.” I says giving her a cheeky smile.

“That is indeed a fair compromise!” she says as we pull up to the dress shop, we walk into the shop and are greeting almost instantly, Luna explains what we are here for and gives the specific styles and colours she wished to see me in, they came back with about 6 different dresses and placed them into the changing room for me to try on. I try on all 6 dresses and only one calls out to me, but I wanted to leave the choice up to Ella as she seems so passionate about it.

“Carter, which one do you like? You can not say none because I know you must be liking one of them.” She asked me like she read my mind.

“Truthfully?” I asked

“Yes sweetheart! Tell me what one calls out to you most.” She asked looking at the dresses as if trying to make up her own mind.

“This one.” I say pointing to the emerald green vintage style V-neck with the off the shoulder tea length Gown. I watch Lisa’s eyes light up like we were thinking the same thing.

“It was the most beautiful dress on you Carter, I am so glad you also like this one.” She says happily. “I will get them to bag this up and see what accessories’ they have that can go with them.” She adds walking over to the desk.

While I was waiting, I got this awful feeling run through my body, “Oh no it can’t be! Not now.” I say to myself.
