CHAPTER 32

The rest of the afternoon went by pretty quickly and at 4pm on the dot, Sebastian and the other walked in.

“Afternoon everyone.” I say

“Afternoon Princess.” Sebastian says bringing me into a hug.

“Afternoon Carter, how was work?” Grace asked

“It was pretty good! I had breakfast with your grandfather this morning! Which reminds me we have to go around there when we leave here.” I say giving them a big smile.

“Do we now?” Sebastian asked

“Yes I promised him I would bring his favourite Grandchildren by to see him.” I say with an evil grin on my face.

“Well, the boss has spoken, I guess we are off to see good old granddad.” Sebastian says.

We drive a for about 10 minutes until we pull into the drive way of a beautiful little cottage style house that has a beautiful colourful garden, we pull up and get out of the car and make our way to the front door, Michael opens the door before we can even knock.

“Carter! You came! You brought my wonderful grandchildren! Thank you!” he says bring me into a hug.

“I told you I would! I don’t go back on my word.” I say smiling at him, he hugs both Grace and Sebastian and ushers us all inside.

They have a little catch up while drinking coffee, and eating some biscuits.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been around much lately, I promise I won’t let that happen again, it was just hard losing your grandmother the way I did.” He says to them

“No need to apologize gramps, I would have done the same. I am just happy you are back and have some light in your eyes again.” Sebastian says while grace agrees.

“I have your beautiful Mate to thank for that Sebastian, she gave me my purpose back when she came here.” He said smiling at me. “Now on to some important stuff, in my study I have a whole plan mapped out to help you both, and your friend too Grace.” He adds getting up to lead the way for us to follow.

“What do you mean?” Sebastian asked.

“Just follow I will explain when you look at it.” He responds as we make our way into his study which I would call an office as it was massive.

As we all look around the room and take in everything in our view, I can now see that he wasn’t stuck in this house moping about, he was planning revenge a way to get justice for his beloved mate. I spot a photo of a beautiful woman, I couldn’t help but admire her graceful look and love in her eyes, Michael walks up to me “That is Nancy.” He tells me holding the picture in his hand lovingly.

“She is beautiful Michael, she is still here with you, I can feel her welcoming me.” I say as I get this graceful feeling in my body, I can sense her spirit this is new to me, but I am not shocked.

They all stare at me, “You can feel her too!” Michael says

“I can, I think it has more to do with who I am as to why, but she is definitely here with you.” I respond.

he smiles at me, along with Sebastian and Grace I guess they are not shocked either with everything that comes with being the moon goddesses reincarnation you can’t underestimate the gifts that come with it. Michael shows us to his board.

“This is what I have on that trattorias cousin of yours, him and that other witch are hiding out here.” He points to a picture of this abandon building

“That’s the place the one we have in the cellar said they could be.” Sebastian said, “How gramps?” he asked

“Your grandmother didn’t die of natural causes, Tomas was the last person to see her, I just never had any proof he had done something to her until now, your grandmother was also like Carter and your friend Stacey.” He told them “I have been tracking his every movements since day.” They both looked at him shocked at what they were hearing, I notice Sebastian eyes change with slight sighs of rage so, I squeeze his hand to let him know it’s okay.

“Does mum and dad know?” he asked Michael shook his head.

“It would kill you mother to know before I can bring her proof and justice.” He says

“Why are you telling us gramps?” Grace asked confused.

“Because you both are going to keep your loved one safe from him! I am going to help.” He says with a serious look.

“Gramps I am so sorry! I wish you had of told me sooner I would have helped you!” Sebastian adds.

“No dear boy, I needed proof that my suspicions were relevant, him going after Carter for who she is, confirmed everything for me. Now if we go over to this board, I have a little more thought out plan.” He says showing us his new board.

“Carter, I take it Lucy has completed her Barrier spell?” he asked me

“Yes, she finished it this morning and added some extra security that will help me sense the danger first.” I respond

“Perfect! Now with that in place I have 24/7 video footage on the abandon house they are at, so I can notify you when they leave. If you are going ahead with acting normal, I need you to do it right, this boy is smart but not smarter than us, but he will be looking for any traps. Carter and Stacey need to be semi alone when he plans to act on his plan, the longer we can make that not happen the better, I found your grandmothers book of all her fighting spells and tricks she had, as she wasn’t the reincarnation but she was gifted 2 of the elements so she documented her learnings and skills in case she knew of someone who would need some extra guidance.” He says handing me the book. “The more you learn out of this book Carter the better this will be for your safety and Stacey’s. I watched their grandmother learn so I can help you both along the way if needed.” He tells me.

“You really thought of everything, didn’t you gramps.” Sebastian asked with a grateful smile.

“Yes boy, I can’t let you lose your love to the same person I did. This mission is a complete risk but if I know Carter and Stacey have extra training, I will feel more confident.” He says

“Oh, gramps she is the best combat fighter there is! Her dad is the head warrior of the Silver Moon Pack, he trained her, she could give me a run for my money if she really wanted to.” Sebastian adds  

“Your grandmother was the same, White wolves have more strength and power behind them they just lack in healing if they are injured badly.” He say looking at me “Your magic and strength over rides your healing, it becomes better once full mated with their fated mate, that is why you are more at risk being unmated.” He adds.

“That is why he needs to act fast, if he wants to try and take her powers” Sebastian says.

“Correct, that doesn’t mean you make my Carter feel forced into something she isn’t ready for either.” He says eyeing him; he turns to me and winks “I got your back Carter, don’t stress.” I giggle

“Thanks Michael, I will read over this book tonight and have a chat with Stacey about everything.” I say giving him a hug as we head back out to the loungeroom.

“Yes thanks gramps! For everything!” Grace and Sebastian say also giving him a hug.

“We better head home or mum will start getting worried.” Sebastian says heading to the door, we all follow but I turn to Michael before getting in the car.

“See you for breakfast in the morning?” I asked with a smile.

“Looking forward to it Carter!” he says smiling and waving to me.

Once we arrive home, we settle in and find out that Alpha Isaac had organised for me to be formally announced to the pack tomorrow night which I was happy about, but also nervous in case they don’t accept me. Sebastian assured me I will be fine and well respected and appreciated among the pack.
