CHAPTER 34

As quick as lighting my body froze, the awful feeling got worse I mink linked Sebastian.

“Something is wrong!” I say

“What do you mean? What’s wrong?” he asked back instantly

“I just got this awful feeling through my entire body Sebastian; someone has set of the extra trap Lucy put in.” I respond worried

“Where are you!” he asked

“I’m at the dress shop with your mum. Where is Stace? is she safe?” I asked

“She’s with Grace, stay with mum! I will be there in 10” he said cutting the link off.

Ella makes her way over, as she notices my worried expression.

“Carter Hunni, what is wrong?”

“Somethings wrong Lisa, someone had trip off the extra trap Lucy put in.” as soon as I said that he face dropped.

“I will call Isaac, go into the back sweets.” She says ushering me towards the lady that helped us, who shows me towards the back room, Thankfully she is a wolf and doesn’t ask any questions at Lisa’s request.

Ella comes to the back room with me,

“Carter sweetie we need to stay here until Sebastian and Isaac get here okay? Someone has knocked out a couple of our warriors on the east side.” She tells me calmly.

“After all this time Lisa, I thought we had more time, I’m not ready for this, I have to go back home in 2 days!” I say starting to tear up.

“I know sweetheart I know! You are strong we will get through this! Okay?” she says trying to reassure me.

“I have to turn my emotions off Luna, I’m stronger with out them.” I say trying to think of how to get out of this mess.

“What do you means?” she asked confused

“I can switch my emotions, I have done it ever since my mum died, it was my way of coupling with the loss and judgement I had growing up, I feel no pain, no worry and no care. I just become blunt and numb with everything, I haven’t done it since I met Sebastian, but I feel worst case I will have too.” I answer honestly.

“Oh sweetheart, Luna Kate and Alpha John already told us about that, you do what you need to do to be strong okay!” as soon as she said that there was a massive smash sound from out the front, I jumped in front of Ella, “Luna promise me you wont try and stop them? The pack needs you most right now, they will need you to stick with any of our plans with a brave face.” She looks at me worriedly but submits knowing I am right. “Please tell my dad and Sebastian I’m sorry and I love them.” before she could even answer the door swings open and Tomas emerged into view.

“Awh, there you are! You really thought you could hide from me Carter?” Tomas asked with a smirk on his face.

“I wouldn’t call this hiding you moron; I was clear as day shopping? Are you blind!” I argue back at his remark, his face turns from a smirk to anger.

“You need to watch that mouth of your, before I hurt it.” He threatens

“Oh please, you wouldn’t hurt a fly!” I respond, he back hands me across the face and splits open my lip.

“That’s the best you got!” I smirk at him knowing I am getting to him.

“Tomas, why are you doing this?” Luna Lisa asked.

“Mind your own business, Luna or I will take you out too.” He says moving towards her, but I stop him send him flying back against the wall.

“You should learn how to show your Luna some respect! She only asked you a question!” I respond angerly, he gets himself up and smirks.

“She is nothing to me Carter, just like you are nothing to me.” He said smugly

“If I am nothing to you, why is it you just can’t leave me alone.” I say

“ENOUGH WITH THESE GAMES CARTER! ELLA IF YOU WANT TO LIVE YOU STAY OUT OF MY WAY!” as soon as he says this, he shoots something into my neck, and I am out cold.

I feel myself starting to wake up, I can hear faint noises and a delicate female voice, I try to move but I am chained, its burning my skin like no tomorrow, must be coated with wolfsbane. I open my eyes as my vision starts to unblur I see this girl arguing with Tomas, I use my enhanced hearing to listen to there argument.

“You promised me you would bring her back!” she said

“Yeah well, she was stupid enough to get caught then she can stay for all I care! I have what I want, and you will complete the spell!” he says back harshly.

“No! I want my sister back before I even think of heling you again! We already showed our loyalty when we gave you that old woman’s power, now you show me your!” she said to him full of venom.

he grabs her by he throat and holds her against the wall, “YOU WILL DO AS I SAY! ONCE YOU GIVE ME WHAT I WANT I CAN TAKE THAT PACK DOWN AND GIVE YOU BACK YOU SISTER UNDERSTOOD!” he yells

I couldn’t help myself, “Still haven’t learnt how to speak to someone have we.” They both turn to look at me shocked. “What?” I asked confused at there expression

He let her gone roughly and walks over to me shouting at her “HOW IS SHE EVEN AWAKE YET? YOU SAID SHE WOULD BE OUT FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS! WHICH IS LONG ENOUGH TO COMPLETE THE SPELL!”

“I don’t know? I have never given someone like her a dose like that so how am I supposed to know he body can take that much.” She responds

“So I guess to master plan has failed Tomas?” I say not even caring, I notice I still can’t mind link anyone, so he must have shot me with a decent amount of wolfbane.

“Shut up! You have no right to talk to me!” he yells back at me

“Oh, really! You had no right to take me! What f*****g stopped you?” I respond slightly pissed “Nothing! You did it anyway.”

He punches me clean in the mouth, I can taste the blood forming in my mouth, I remember what Michael said about me being weaker because white wolves can’t heal properly until fully mated, so I mentally facepalm myself.

“That’s what I thought! Shut your mouth!” he says feeling satisfied from my muteness.

However once my emotions are off, I couldn’t seem to care. “Your nothing but a weak piece of s**t that can’t handle having someone better then them around! You think your tough hitting me when I am tied up? How about you fight me like a real man would!” he stares me down with my response. “What? Too scared you will get your ass handed to you by a girl.” Seriously Carter! Stop! I think to myself but just smirk at him

“You know what Carter, I couldn’t careless what you think because in 2 hours you will be dead.” He says full of anger.
