CHAPTER 35

 “HURRY UP WITH THIS SPELL! NOW!” he yells at the witch while walking out of the room, she hurry’s over and starts fixing up her things preparing for the spell she is about to do. Realising I can’t actually get myself out with my strength being compromised with these wolfsbane chains I need to get the witch to take my necklace off so I can use my powers, well try anyway.

I take this time to get into the witches head “So your sister is it? The one I caught? She was a lovely witch, gave me everything I needed to know about the two of you.” She looks at me shocked.

“What do you mean by was?” she asked worried

“Oh, you don’t need to know about that, you have a job to do right?” I say sarcastically

“NO! YOU TELL ME NOW! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER?” she yells at me

“Nope can’t say a word, as this necklace I have on forbids it.” I respond looking as honest as I could.

she looks at me then tries to look at the necklace for any enchantments, lucky for me you can’t track Lucy’s magic, she rips it off and throws it to the ground.

“Now tell me what you did to my sister!” she says with hate in her eyes.

I laugh at her as I start channelling my magic, “You really think I would kill your sweet sister?” she looks at me confused.

“What are you talking about? You just said you…” I cut her off “I never said I did anything to your sister but caught her.” I says smirking at her.

“What do you mean?” she asked with slight signs of worry in her eyes.

“What I meant was I needed to detract you, enough to get you to take my necklace off, you see with that necklace on I can use my full powers and since you gave Tomas a drug that could have killed me, but has only deactivated my wolf strength for now I needed access to that, so Thank you witch your services are no longer required.” I say using my powers to brake the chains and knock her out, I use my earth powers to hold her still so she can not move once she wakes up.

Tomas must have heard the chains braking as he barged into the room, he stood there staring at me with a shocked expression. “What have you done Carter!” he yells annoyed that his only witch is now unable to help him.

“Oh, that? I just put her to sleep, you see you may have weakened my wolf strength, but you can’t weaken my powers!” I say smirking at him

“How?” he asked trying hard to hind his now worried state.

“That’s for me to know Tomas, now are you ready to fight me like a real wolf would or are you still being that weak minded wolf you were so unlucky to receive.” I respond smugly, while he processes my response, I try the mind-link again to Sebastian, which gets through

“Sebastian!”

“CARTER! Your okay? Where are you? Are you hurt?” he asked

“No time to answer, you better be on your way, it looks like the house Michael told us about! I can’t heal now remember.” I say

“I’m coming Carter! Were almost there hold one!” he says and cut the link.

As soon as I cut the link, I see Tomas charge at me catching me off guard and smashing me into the wall with full force, I hear some bones cracking but ignore it as I send him flying with my magic, I hold him pinned to the wall.

“You really need more training Tomas! I expected better for someone that had taken a life of an innocent already for power!” I say

“That old hag was dying anyway!” he spits out, which makes me lose my cool and I remove my magic and swing punch after punch after punch into his face, I can hear heavy footsteps approaching us, but I pay no mind to it as he gets back up and punches me in the face again making me spit out blood I become unsteady from the impact as I am already weakened by the wolfsbane, he uses this to his advantage and jumps on top of me and tries to chock me while smashing my head on the floor.

“YOU STUPID b***h! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING I WORKED HARD FOR! THAT STUPID OLD HAG DIED FOR NOTHING NOW!” as soon as those words left his mouth, I felt myself losing too much blood, so my vision started to blur, but I felt his weight lift from the top of me. “Sebastian” I say weakly, I felt him kneel beside me and lift me up as the sparks that shot through me makes me feel a little safer.

“I’m here Carter, your okay! I will get you help okay? Its over baby stay with me please!” I hear he say full of anger and worry.

“I’m sorry.” I say to him knowing how worried he must be.

“Don’t be sorry baby, you were amazing! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to find you quick enough.” He responds with guilt.

I try to laugh at him to lighten the mood “You don’t get to be sorry either then. You’re here now that’s all that matters.” I whisper.

Sebastian takes me straight to the pack hospital, where they run scans and blood tests to check everything is okay, they patch me up the best they can and tell Sebastian he needs to stay with me the whole time so I can heal a bit quicker, as I start to regain full sight and senses I look at Sebastian’s worried face.

“We got him right?” I asked

“We did baby, we got the confession for gramps and all! He is in the cellar now awaiting his sentencing.” He tells me

“Is Lisa okay? Your mum? Did he do anything to her when he drugged me?” his eyes turned dark hearing him drug me, but I gab his hand reassuring him that I am alive and fine.

“He knocked her out but no major damage, she is at home safe eager to come and see you.” He says

“I am eager to go home, can we?” I ask more like begging as I don’t want to be stuck in the hospital.

“I will see what I can do, but no promises!” he says smiling at me as he headed out to talk to the nurse. He comes back in 10 minutes later “Okay, we can go home only because your test came back that the wolfsbane is completely out of you system, but you are on best rest for a few days.” He says

“YAY!” I say excited, then I realise I have 2 days to be at my graduation. “Wait what about my graduation ceremony! I can’t miss it!” I say worrying

“Don’t stress about that babe, you will still be at graduation, I promise.” He says smiling at me.

I hug him “Thank you for being here for me.” I say

he hugs me back “I will always be here for you Carter! I promise.”
