CHAPTER 28

Sebastian comes and holds me from behind in hopes of calming me enough so the Alpha and the rest can contain her and follow up on the leads we now have, the sparks that he sends through my body so wonders when you are mad, with in second I have gotten control back from my wolf, and Alpha Isaac comes in to contain her with a special chain  where she couldn’t perform any more magic while they were on her.

“You did well babe, now let them finish the interrogation in the cellar.” He whispers in my ear as I watch them take her away.

I stop them before they leave. “Reveal yourself!” I say to her which she does strait away not knowing my wolf is calm, I grin at knowing she fears me.

As soon as they leave it is now Curtis, Sebastian and I standing in the room.

“Wow, that was intense Carter!” Curtis says

“Yeah, just a bit.” I say brushing it off.

“Since she easily made her way here, we need better security measures in place.” Sebastian says concerned.

“No.” I say

They both look at me confused, “Let them believe that they can get in here easily without being detected, let him think he has the upper hand.” I say thinking of a plan.

“What do you mean?” They both asked me confused.

“We go about our time as normal, only the main people are to know of the plans in place. Stacey and I are the ones they want the most, so we give them the opportunity to take us, at our Choosing.” I look at them watching their reactions.

“That won’t be happening!” Sebastian shuts down the idea completely.

“That isn’t your call.” Stacey says coming into the room with Grace.

“Of course it is my call, she is my mate and you are like family I will not risk either of you!” he says showing both of us how much we mean to him.

I smile at him “You won’t lose either of us, you haven’t finished listening to my plan.” I say while grabbing at his arm. “We have Lucy who will help us with our plan and protect us.”

“how can you be so sure she will protect you?” Curtis asked

“Because we have these.” I lift up my charmed necklace “only a powerful witch can perform a spell like this, she has protected us by making these, she will protect us in this little war your Cousin is making.” I say

“Exactly, if we make the plan and trap, he will think he is winning but, in the end, we will be the ones that win because it will be on our terms.” Stacey said

“so you both want to pretend to be captured on his terms, in order to trap him and end this all.” Curtis asked.

“Yes, but it is more complicated we need to go about our days as normal, make him think we don’t care about his threats, once he thinks he is safe to come and take us, we will know about it before hand because Lucy will make us a barrier spell that sends us notifications of who enters and from where. That will give us the time to act surprised and fight against him, so he believes he is on top.” I say trying to explain more

“This could work, however, you both need to take in our ideas and worries throughout this, especially if you want everyone to oblige.” Curtis and Sebastian both say.

I look at Stacey and she nods, “Deal, once they realise, we have there other witch they will lay low for a while worried she will tell us everything, which she will tell me everything I want to know. I reckon we at least have 3 weeks before he will make another move, but he will be watching our moves closely.” I say

“Yeah I know one person in this pack that would do anything for him, regardless of him being a traitor.” Grace responds.

“Oh that Emily would do anything he asked.” Stacey added.

“Watch her closely she will be the one he gets to do his dirty work on the inside.” I say

Everyone comes to the agreement, and we start detailing our plan out in full so we can inform those needed, Stacey and I decide to contact Lucy and work out what she can do for us while Sebastian and the others go and run this plan by the Alpha.

We decided a FaceTime call was the best option for us with Lucy.

“Hey Lucy, sorry to call you at this hour but we need your help and advice on something.” I ask

“Anything Girls what is it? You look worried.” Lucy asked.

We explain everything to her from the start to the end, we inform her on the plan we have and she was quite impressed with our plan, she agreed to help us as much as she could.

“First I need to know how you are progressing on your magic Carter?” she asked

“Surprisingly well, I was able to stop her with using all 3 of my elements at the same time.” I say

“You used all 3? No issue’s? That is really unheard-of Carter, how are you feeling?” she asked

“I feel fine, I was really mad when it all happened, but overall, it just came naturally.” I say not concerned at all.

“we will need to complete some extra testing once this is over Carter; I am very intrigued to find out more about you.” She says proudly.

“I would be happy to!” I respond with a smile.

“Okay well, I will need you to get permission for me to enter your border by the Alpha for about 2 hours, I will set up a few barriers and traps of my own to help your safety.” She said

“Sebastian and Curtis have got to go over all of the plan with Alpha so that will no issue, we will let you know as soon as possible.” I say

We finish off our call and head down to the Alpha’s office to go over everything and see how they feel over our plan.

“Sebastian you realise if this doesn’t work, you could lose her.” I hear Alpha Isaac say.

“I know dad, she just… she wants this to end this and protect everyone in the pack from a war, I can’t do anything but help her succeed dad, please.” He pleaded with his dad. I could hear the distress he feels over this whole thing, but I need him to believe in me. I walk in and everyone turns to face me with worried looks.

“Lucy is on board, as long as the Alpha agrees to her entering for 2 hours to complete the barrier.” I say trying to break the tension in the room.

“You seem so positive about all of this Carter.” Alpha Isaac said

“Someone needs to be, so is the plan all good?” I ask

he has a little chuckle at that “Very well, we will do this on one condition.” He said

“what is your condition?” I ask curious

“You need to tell your dad about everything, he deserves to know and if he wishes to come here until this is over you need to accept. Okay?” he responds

I mentally groan “Fine, if that is what it will take to make sure no one in this pack gets hurt because of me I will do it.”

“Carter, no one blames you for any of this nor will we if a war happened.” Alpha Isaac says

“You may say it’s not, but I will feel it regardless.” I turn to Sebastian “I will be in our room calling my dad.” I say and walk out slightly annoyed.
