CHAPTER 22

We arrive at the pack house where they are all staying, Grace and Stacey are out the front waiting for me.

“We are so happy you agreed to hang with us we have something special for you.” Stacey says.

“All good, I think I need some girl time to be honest.” I say watching Sebastian head inside to meet his dad.

“Trouble in paradise?” Grace asked

“No not really just, well I guess it is all from the mate bond, but I have been getting these really wired feelings when I am around him, like when he got out of the shower the way he looked made my whole body tingle with heat, and then once I finished I forgot my trousers, so I had to go to my closet in my underwear and well, he walked in and seen me like it had this lustful look in his eyes then I couldn’t help myself but watch as a certain part of his pants started to get super tight.” I burst out not fully understanding what is going on.

They both look at each other and laugh, “It isn’t the mate bond that is doing all of this Carter, it’s your hormones expressing your feeling towards my brother, your needs and attraction are just enlightened by the mate bond, you can resist it for so long but eventually the need will overtake you.” She says winking at me. I look at Stacey and she nods, “Great.” Is all I can manage to get out.

“Where are you both taking me too?” I ask as we walk through the woods I have never been too.

“Would you relax, this is a special place where you will learn more about yourself, I promise” Stacey says while Grace agrees with her.

we make our way to a clear path and I notice a cute little cottage looking house hidden in the trees, “What are we doing here? Do you know who lives here?” I ask.

“This is the witch your Luna and my Grandmother used for our Charms, she also helped me control and work out my power, Kate asked us to bring you here before we left.” Stacey says.  

It all made sense why they wanted to hang out, we go up to the door and knock 3 times and wait for the witch to come and open the door. A few seconds after the 3rd knock this young beautiful woman undone the door.

“Hello girls, you must be Carter, Stacey and Grace Luna Kate told me you were coming! Come on inside chop.” She ushers us in.

“Stacey it’s been so long since I saw you last! How are you doing with your powers?”  she asked

“I know it has! I am pretty good at my powers now, I haven’t lost control in a while, so I think I am almost there.” Stacey replies

“ That is so good to hear sweetie, I am so proud of how quick you picked everything up.”

“Now Carter dear, my name is Lucy, Luna Kate has told me so much about you! Especially your personality, however that personality makes it a lot harder for me to determine which power you will have as you represent them all.” She looks at me curiously. “You do radiate some power I haven’t seen before, so this could mean you was gifted with more than one. Now let’s give some of these exercises ago, it might help me work out what you can master.”  She says while leading me into the pentagram looking picture drawn on the floor. “Now, Carter open your mind, feel the energy of nature around you absorb it into you, do you feel the energy in you Carter?” I nod my head “Great now release that power.”

I did just that and managed to light all the candles in her house, I also blew them all back out with my manipulation with the wind suddenly I felt surrounded by droplets of water that I had removed out of the sink, I stop myself and open my eyes I see everyone staring at me gobsmacked at what I had just done.

“My goodness Carter, you have all 3 elements of the moon goddess, you are the true reincarnation of the mother of all wolves, you are truly unique Carter. You must be careful until you have fully completed mating with Sebastian you will be in grave danger if anyone was to find out especially if they know of a black magic witch.” She looks at me worriedly

“You must focus on these tasks I have written down, Stacey can help you along the way but you both must remember that you need to be alone whenever you practice these or else bad things can happen to unmated White Wolves.” We both nod our understanding.

After 2 hours of training with Lucy she sends us on our way with a special stone that can reach her in seconds if we ever come into trouble and need help. She was really knowledgeable and kind-hearted just like Luna Kate. We thanked her for everything she did and went on her way back to the pack house, Sebastian was waiting for us when we arrived, he asked how everything went I told him I would fill him in at home as it was too risky to say, which he accepted with ease.

When we arrived home there was a note on the table from dad and Lilly saying they would be home late as they were having a date night and not to wait up, so Sebastian and I set up some movies in my room and just cuddled in bed watching and talking,

“Do you want to tell me what happened today?” Sebastian asked.

“Well its complicated, Stacey and Grace took me to meet Lucy the witch, she showed me different tasks to do to train and control my powers.” I say

“That’s great did you find out what yours was?” he asked

“It is great but, I can manipulate all 3 elements. Lucy said I am the true reincarnation of the moon goddess.” I say looking at him

“Wow, that is amazing, I will help you out as much as you need.” He says with a smile of full support.

“There is just one thing she also told me about that you should know.” He nods and waits for me to go on. “I have to be even more careful, Lucy said if someone bad was to find out about me, that also knew a black magic witch I would be in grave danger. She said that until I am fully mated, I am more at risk. The same goes for Stacey just not as dangerous for her as she only has the one power.” He looks at me in shock, so many emotions run through his eyes.

“I promise to always keep you safe Carter, I won’t willingly allow anything to happen to you, I will always fight for you and your safety.” He says reassuring me.

I smile, and we get back to watching the movies, I feel myself drifting to sleep and I let it take over me, knowing that I am safe in my mate’s arms.

The next day went about as normal 4am I was up training with Kevin and Evan whooping Evans but, I am so proud of Kevin he really has improved with my training and Evan had noticed, but he was still stronger for now. After they left I went about my morning as usual chatting away with dad and Lilly for most of it, knowing I am leaving tomorrow morning with Sebastian and his family meant I needed to finish packing my stuff so I continued with that until diner where Alpha John and Luna Kate attended as well, to formally say there good byes and well wishes. It was really nice having a chilled out diner with them, dad and I ended up staying up later then Lilly to get some one on one time training and enjoying our last moments together, eventually he said he had to go to bed as he was really tired so we said our goodnights and I went and cuddled with my wonderful mate who was sleeping so peacefully…
