CHAPTER 23

I wake up extra early this morning to complete mine and Kevin’s last training session knowing he might actually fully take my hit, to my surprise my dad joined in and gave him a few pointer since he will now be his new apprentice and all. As soon as I make my move Kevin takes the blow right in the chest, he almost hits the wall but pulls himself together and stands there steadily catching his breath is I still took the wind out of him.

“YOU DID IT KEVIN!!” I scream with pride; my dad comes and pats him on the shoulder as a well-done gesture.

“I… Know… I … Cant …believe … I … am …still …. standing…” he says trying to focus on his breathing.

I give him a massive hug! “I am so proud of you Kevin, you trained so hard and you have accomplished you goal!! Now you can’t stop now, you will need to keep up the hard training while I am gone to always be this strong okay?” I say.

“Thank you so much Carter, this really means the world to me! You made me worthy enough that your dad wanted to take me on! I wish you all the best in the future Carter!” he says hugging me tightly back. “I am really going to miss having you around.” “So am I Kevin, so am I!”

Kevin heads off to get ready for school, while I head up and shower and get dressed so that after breakfast we can head off. I carry my last bag down to the front of the house and Sebastian loads it in, I notice Maney and Charlie are pulling into the driveway and I start to cry, I already said my goodbyes to dad as we both agreed it would be easier for both if he went to work like normal, instead of staying back.

“I can’t believe it is the day, you’re leaving us!” Charlie runs up hugging me tightly.

“We are going to miss you like crazy Carter!” Maney comes and hugs me tightly also

“I am going to miss you both so much!” I cry hugging them both as tight as I could.

They pull away from me and ask, “What time do you find out your results?” Charlie asked.

“Hopefully in like 10 minutes.” I say nervously

“Well we will leave once you know!” Maney said going over to help Sebastian

“What if I fail Charlie? How will I make it then?” I ask worried

“You would never fail Carter; you are the smartest in the school! You would have aced every exam!” she says reassuring me

Suddenly my phone rings, I look at it and it if from the school so I answer it.

“Hello Carter speaking.”

“Hello Carter, it is Mrs Muller here, I am glad I can catch you before you leave.”

“Yeah I wanted to know my results before I left, just in case.”

“Well sweets, it is my pleasure to let you know you have passed all of your final exams with flying colours! Congratulations! I expect to see you here for the graduation ceremony in a month!”

“Oh my god! Thank you so much!! Yes, I will definitely be there!”

“Fantastic! Have a lovely trip Carter and Congratulations again! Also tell Maney and Charlie if they don’t leave for school now, they will be late, and I can’t give them any more excuse passes.”

“Thank you will do! Bye!”

I scream “I PASSED!! I PASSED ALL THE EXAMS WITH FLYING COLOURS!!” I am jumping up and down with Charlie. Maney and Sebastian come over and congratulate me.

“Well, guys I guess this is it until the ceremony, Mrs Muller said if you guys don’t leave now you will be late, and she can’t give you any more excuse passes.”

“Oh, who cares!” they both say hugging me one last time.

“I will let you know when I get there I promise!”

“You better!” Maney yells out his window as he is driving off.

I turn around and Sebastian is right there, he lifts me up and spins me around showering me in wonderful kisses of proudness.

“Come on we need to meet mum and dad at the pack house before we go.” He helps me into the car, and we drive off.

We arrive at the pack house and everyone is out the front already waiting, I hope out to say goodbye to Kate and John.

“I will miss you both! Thank you for everything you have done for me!” I say to both

“Look after yourself kiddo! I will miss having you around too, just not the complaints” Alpha John says with a wink and a smile. I giggle at that at least he is honest.

“Remember to be careful Carter, and use what Lucy gave you if you ever feel in trouble.” She whispers into my ear so no one else could hear. I nob and smile at her she gives me a big hug and tells me to keep in touch about everything!

Stacey and Grace decided they were coming with us on the way home as Alpha Isaac wasn’t in a very good mood apparently something had happened at home and he was only just notified. We head off and start our journey back to the Purple Moon Pack, the place I will now call home.

It was a long few hours of listening to the girls sing and make everyone play games to make the time go quicker, eventually I couldn’t help but be that person and ask, “Are we there yet?”

Sebastian smiles at me “I thought you would have ask before now, we are about 10 more minutes away.”

“Thank God! I can’t handle much more of this sitting in one spot!” I respond relieved

“You can venture around the place as long as you like when we arrive home.” He says with a cheeky grin.

“Great! Maybe even take our wolves for a run?” I ask curiously

“Once you are settled into our room, then yes we will go for a run, I promise.” He says with a smile

Everyone remains quiet for the last part of the trip, as soon as we pull into this driveway, I know we are here! The Pack house is more like a mansion surrounded by acres of forest for the wolves to run free in, there are beautiful little homes also surrounding the area which I would assume the wolves that have had families now live, the grass is so beautifully green and everything looks so perfect. We pull up near the entrance and some people are already waiting out the front for their Alpha and Luna to arrive. Sebastian and Grace tell us to wait until Alpha and Luna enter before getting out as people will ask questions and won’t leave us all alone until they know everything.

“I want you settled before being bombarded by Nosie people.” Sebastian reassures me, which I nod, and we all wait until everyone vanishes inside.

“Yay! Now let’s get out and get you all settled in I can’t wait to show you around the place while Sebastian helps dad later!” Grace jumps out totally excited.

Sebastian leads me up 3 flights of stairs and into this amazingly large room that has its own bathroom, and a massive walk in closet, it has a beautiful king sized wooden styled bed with silky red sheets. There is also a little study area in the corner of the room, next to a sliding door that takes you out on to the balcony which gives you a beautiful view of the Land. The Bathroom is so spacious with a double-sided wooden vanity, massive mirrors above it, the shower is also a double shower with massive shower heads that will take up my whole body easily. The coloured scheme is White with a hit on red throughout the place. I love it! I would happily live in this room for the rest of my life and never leave it! Sebastian notices my expression on my face “I take it you like the room?” he smirks at me. “Like it? I love it!” I say.

“That’s great I wasn’t sure if you would want me to change anything or not.” He says honestly

“Its perfect Sebastian!” I reassure him. He smiles and tells me that my side of the closet is already for me to pop my clothes into, I open the door and it is like another room with the size, there is so many shelves and hanging space even a special place for my shoes.
