CHAPTER 24

While Sebastian and I was placing my stuff, I get this uneasy feeling then someone knocked on the door, so he went to open it while I continued to put my clothes away.

“What do you want!” I hear Sebastian ask slightly annoyed.

“I just wanted to come and see my cousin that is all.” I heard the guy at the door say smugly.

“Since when have you ever cared about seeing me unless wanted something.” Sebastian spat

“Fine, I heard you have a little friend her and I wanted to see for myself.” He said so casually.

“That isn’t any of your business, now is it?”

“Why so hostile little cousin? Afraid I will still her away from you? Like I will everything else.” He changes his tone to aggressive.

I couldn’t help myself, “Sorry but, that will never happen, nor will you ever take anything off my mate!” I say angry that this full thinks it is okay to talk to a Future Alpha like that.

“Oh well, aren’t you the catch! Mate? Really you haven’t even claimed her yet!? My name is Tomas, pleasure to meet you.” I notice him look me up and down and size me up in awful ways that I get this really uncomfortable vibe off him. So, I nod to him as I notice Sebastian is fighting with his wolf to stay in control.

luckily Grace and Stacey come around the corner “What are you doing here! Why don’t you keep on moving! I heard Alpha is looking for you. He is super pissed at you too. Good luck!” Stacey says waving him off.

Grace shuts the door and I move Sebastian over to the bed and try and calm him down,

“Stacey, um… do you happen to get this awful vibe off him as well?” I ask her nervously.

Sebastian and Grace stare at both of us intensely, Stacey scratches the back of her neck and says, “Honestly yes, he has this whole arura that sends shivers down my spine.” Grace and Sebastian look at her and ask, “Why have you never said anything before?” “Well, he is your cousin I wouldn’t want to come between you guys because I had a feeling, now that Carter can sense it too, we will both just need to be careful around him.” Stacey says honestly.

Sebastian Growls, “Under no circumstances are either of you aloud to be around him, at least until you are both fully mated. Understood?” not knowing what to say we both nod, well this all escalated quickly I think to myself…

After everyone had calmed down Sebastian and Grace went to talk to their dad about what had happened, so Stacey and I hung out here in the room, Sebastian basically locked us in here and told us not to leave without him or grace, so what better time was it then to practice some of the tasks Lucy gave us.

“Your picking this up really quickly Carter!” Stacey says

“I really just want to master everything as soon as possible; I have this awful feeling ever since Tomas came here.”

“What do you mean by that? I can sense he is trouble, but I don’t fully have an awful feeling.” Stacey said

“The way he looked me up and down just sent shivers down my spine, like I am in big trouble with him around, I don’t know how else to explain it.” I say looking at my hands.

“Maybe it’s because you have all powers of the moon goddess, that could be why you sense it more than I do?” she says trying to reassure me.

“Yeah maybe, I just don’t want to worry Sebastian , in case it is nothing.”

“Will you tell me? If he does anything towards you tell me, I can let you know If I think it is worth him knowing more.” She said

“Yeah, okay sounds good.” Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

“Who is it?” Stacey calls

“ITS TOMAS OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!” he yells

“UM, HOW ABOUT NO!” she yells back at him.

“IF YOU DON’T OPEN THIS DOOR, I WILL BRAKE IT DOWN!” he continues to yell.

“Stacey, mind link Sebastian or grace! I will use my power to hold the door.” I whisper to her, which I can see she does instantly!

“CARTER, I KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE AS WELL! IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU, YOU WILL LEAVE HIM AND COME WITH ME NOW! I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE!” He yells, I look at Stacey and freak out.

“What does he mean by that? How would he know? I am not ready for this!” I say whispering while panicking.

“Clam down, Sebastian and the others are on their way here now, none of them are happy, a lot went down, Grace said she will fill us in soon.” Stacey says trying to get me to stay calm, I can feel his anger and need radiating throw the door, and this time so does Stacey, I can tell by the look on her face.

“REALLY! YOU CALL THEM ON ME! HA THEY WONT CATCH ME CARTER, NOR WILL THEY FIND ME! BUT I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL TAKE YOU AWAY FROM THEM ALL ALONG WITH THOSE SPECIAL POWERS YOU POSSESS!” He yelled through the door and was gone without a trace.

Sebastian and Curtis made it up here first and broke the door down, as I had let my powers down when I knew he left.

“Carter are you okay!” Sebastian runs and hugs me to calm me down even more.

“He said he knew who I was? How?” I asked confused

Sebastian and Curtis look at each other and I watch their faces go pale.

“Sebastian? What is wrong?” I ask

“You both need to come with us now, we can explain most of it when we get to my dad.” I hesitate not satisfied with the answer but follow along, Sebastian and Curtis give orders to all the warriors and pack members to hunt him Tomas down, suddenly I feel like there is more no one is saying right now. Stacey and I look at each other worriedly, knowing this isn’t going to end well if they fail to find him…
