Rogues at the Trevi Fountain

(4 Hours earlier)

Ranesmay's POV

I woke up in bed. I looked up at the ceiling and took a deep breath. I raised my head and looked to my right at the clock and it said 8:30 am. I layed my head back down and took another deep breath. I stretched my arms and legs as I yawned. I hear the toilet flush. I sat up and seen that it was Bunny coming out of the bathroom. She looked at me and smiled.

"Goodmorning sleepy head. I have been up for about an hour now. Rome is beautiful in the morning. Why don't you get up and we can have breakfast."

I looked at her and smiled. I got up and we left the room together. When we opened the door we smelled bacon and sausage and it made my mouth water. We rushed downstairs and watched as Beast was dancing around the kitchen while cooking and listening to music. Bunny looked at me and smiled. She walked quickly over to him and then she screamed. I couldn't help but laugh becuase of how high he jumped.

"Bunny; my love be nice to our mate. He was nice enough to make us breakfast."

"Alright if you are done messing with me. Breakfast is ready and then we can get ready and pick up Amon."

We helped Beast set the table and bring all of the food in. We sat down and started piling food on our plates. We started eating and after fifteen minutes of listening to music and eating Bunny spoke up. "So what are we going to go see first the spanish steps or the trevi fountain?"

"Well I was thinking we could go see both and then go out to dinner. When we went through the lobby I picked up a travel guide. The Trevi Fountain is only eight minutes away from the Spanish Steps by walking and only five minutes away by car." Ranesmay said with a small smile.

"If we walk we can explore more and learn more about the culture. What do you think Bunny. Should we walk or drive?"

"We would be more out in the open if we walk, but if we just drive everywhere then we won't really get to learn the history as we go. So I think we should drive to get Amon and then be dropped off at the Trevi Fountain and then walk."

"Alright well lets quickly finish our breakfast and then get dressed in comfy clothes. The faster we leave the faster we can get Amon and go sight seeing."

We scarfed the rest of our food down and cleaned up the kitchen. Once we were done we followed Beast upstairs. Our Beta on the other hand was walking downstairs and his face was bright red and he looked well rested for the first time in a while. We get to our room and got dressed.

(10 minutes later)

We get back downstairs and was about to walk out the front door when we were stopped by Beta Derek, Beta Alex, and Head warrior Seraphina. They looked at us like we were crazy about wanting to leave the house. I looked at them and then back at my mates. I took a deep breath to calm down.

"I understand that you are here to protect us, but this is our honeymoon and you will not stop us from enjoying our time here. Now if you want you guys can accompany us but we are going to go pick up Amon and then go sight seeing." I said with a glint in my eyes hoping they wouldn't test me.

"Fine but if we get in trouble by our Alpha...."

I didn't let Seraphina finish what she was saying. "I will handle it. So who's ready to go and have fun."

They looked at eachother and then looked back at me. Seraphina smiled and opened up the door.

"Alright, lets go have fun."

We leave the house and we see several of their pack members watching us and the property. I felt un-nerved by this; I took a deep breath and shrugged the feeling off. We get into the car and Mateo was in the driver seat waiting for us. Head warrior Seraphina and Beta Alex was in the vehicle behind us. I looked out the window to my left and seen six wolves running through the woods keeping up with the vehicles. I looked to my right and seen the same thing. I was begining to get pissed because it is starting to feel like i'm not on my honeymoon. Which I didn't want in the first place.

(2 Hours Later)

We are finally back in the center of Rome. I looked out of my window and noticed that we were by the hotel we are staying at but we drive pass it instead of stopping. After a couple of minutes Mateo parks right in front of this huge building. After a few minutes of waiting Mateo gets out of the car and opens the door. I see Amon come out looking fresh and clean. He even had a smile on his face that made me smile.

"What are you guys doing here. We were about to go back to his house to pick you guys up."

"Why wait for you to get back when we can all go sight seeing together as a family. Plus there is no point in having you teleport back just for us to drive two hours to get here."

"Okay your right. So what are we going to do today?"

"Well the travel guide book that I got; is amazing. So we decided to get dropped off at the Trevi Fountain and then walk to the spanish steps. Oh and it lists a lot of facts about the places we are going to go to."

"NO, I am not letting my younger siblings walk anywhere let alone without any protection."

"I WAS NOT f*****g ASKING. WE ARE WALKING AND YOU CAN HAVE YOUR f*****g GUARDS FOLLOW US BUT THERE WILL BE DISTANCE. Now Beta Derek said on the way he would come along and if you want you can come with and spend time with your mate."

"Fine but my mate is staying with me and the body guards will be close by."

(12 Minutes later)

We finally arrive at the Trevi Fountain and it is beautiful from afar. We all get out and walk towards the trevi fountain. I was able to tell that there are rogues in the area but I didn't care. I looked down at my book and read some interesting facts about the Trevi Fountain.

"Hey guys so according to my travel guide the Trevi Fountain means Fountain of three roads."

"Really. It is one amazing fountain. Is there any other facts that would be cool to know?" Beast asked.

"Yeah so the aqueduct is called aqua virgo was built 2,000 years ago. While various renovation has taken place, the water that feeds the fountain is the same that has been feeding it for more than 2,000 years. If we drink out of the fountain we would be drinking the same water the Ancient Romans were drinking. Oh and it says here we can taste the water and relive history if we go to a drinking fountain that is close by the Trevi Fountain because the Aqua Virgo not only feeds the Trevi Fountain but also the surrounding fountains."

"Lets go try it!!" Amon said right before walking off going to the nearest fountain."

"Amon slow down I know that you are excited but baby please." Before I said anything else I noticed all of the rogues were following our movements.

We get to the drinking fountain and try the water. It had a very weird taste but satisfying. It was earthy as well as fresh. I wasn't able to taste any chemicals like everywhere else. I watched as everyone else tried the water waiting for eveyone to get done. I felt a knife go into my back and hand go over my mouth.

"Queen Ranesmay, I am here to kill you. If you don't want to die right here and now you will come with me." The rogue whispered into my ear.

I looked over and I was getting farther away from my mates. I quickly mind linked them. "Turn around a Rogue has me. We are headed into a building called the Pallazzo Poli. Hurry."

I turned my head slightly to see them before going in. I watched as everyone started to calmly walk over to the building but through the mate bond I was able to feel they were pissed off. I looked forward and seen an information desk. The man behind the desk looked at us and said "Hope you two like the exhibit."

I watched as the rogue handed him two tickets and we walked further in. I am guesing from what is in the building we were in a museum. I looked at all the different items from engravings, to the visual arts. It is very beautiful even though the room we stopped in was filled with rogues.

The rogue let me go in the center of the room and backed away. "We don't have that long her mates will be right behind her."

"Shut up." One of the rogues said.

"Even if they get here in time; there is sixty of us and we can take them all out at once and still collect the bounty of four." Another rogue said.

I was tired of listening to there s**t and spoke up. "ENOUGH. SUBMIT NOW OR DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH." I yelled out using my queen voice.

Once I finished my statement. Some of them craned their necks to the right showing submission and the rest just laughed. At this point I was pissed so I threw a ball of fire at one of them. The rogue that was hit instantly turned to ash. The laughing died down and before I knew it my mates and brother arrived and a battle broke out.
