Battle at the Trevi Fountain

Amon's POV

After we received Ranesmay's mind link, I tapped everyone and they looked at me confused for a few seconds. I looked behind me and seen a rouge dragging Ranesmay away with his hand covering her mouth. I felt the others turn and seen what I was seeing.

"How the hell did he get passed our security detail?" Alessandro asked

"You must have a traitor among the security detail, but first let's get her back and then we will deal with the bastard." I said while smirking with an evil glint in my eyes.

"Let's go kill those motherfuckers." Bunny said while looking at us.

We looked at her and I was able to tell that she was pissed. We slowly followed behind them trying not to raise suspicion. After a few minutes we were in the museum. After they stopped at the information desk. I looked back at them.

"Let's make a plan. They probably have more rouges inside. We can't just go in there blind."

They all looked at me and nodded their heads. When we looked back they were gone. I took a deep breath and looked over at my mates and they both had worried looks but through the mate bond I was able to feel their anger.

(Five minutes later)

We went inside after we made a plan. The guy at the information desk got up and looked at us.

"Enjoy your visit." He said and sat back down and started reading a magazine again.

I felt a surge of energy through the bond and the power felt incredible. We followed Ranesmay's scent to the best of our ability because her scent was tainted by the rouge's disgusting smell. The further we went the stronger there smell became. After a few minutes we come to a room that was further back in the building away from prying eyes.

I looked in the room and saw my mate standing there listening to their crap about killing all of us because they have sixty people. When I heard her voice it was like music to my ears. She was demanding and very powerful.

"ENOUGH. SUBMIT NOW OR DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH." She yelled out in her Luna Queen voice.

I watched as some of them showed submission to her and the others laughed. Great they just pissed her off even more. I watched as she summoned fire and threw it at a rouge. The rouge burst into flames. All you could hear was the deafening screams of the rouge. After two and half minutes the screams stopped and his body turned to ash. I looked at the others and they nodded. I lowered my aura to almost nothing and stepped into the room. I was standing behind fifteen rouges and I watched as we all got into place. We surrounded the rouges and blocked the exits.

"Ranesmay when they come after you levitate you and Bunny. She is by the door you came in through. We are here and we will take care of this." I mind linked her.

Ranesmay's POV

When I felt a tugging sensation I knew that I was getting a mindlink. It was like Amon whispering in my ear. I looked all around me and smiled. I turned toward the door that I came in through and I was able to see Bunny just standing there with a smile on her face. I looked around at the rouges and laughed.

"So are we going to stand around all day or fight. You want to kill me, right. I bet none of you can even put one scratch on me." I tried to bait them through mockery.

They all rushed me at once and I laughed at their stupidity. I used my power and Bunny and I both started to rise into the air. When they made it to the center of the room they looked up and tried to reach me. But they couldn't. "NOW" was all I said and the guys took over. I watched from above and waited for the guys to get the rogues attention. The battle had commenced and they stopped trying to get to me so I took my chance and floated over to where Bunny was. I looked at her and she looked at me and started checking my body for any open wounds.

"Baby I am fine. They didn't hurt me." I said to her and it was like she didn't hear me.

I grabbed her hands and she looked up at me. I let her hand go and kissed her hard and passionate. "I'm fine. I promise; now lets watch them get destroyed." I said to her after the kiss. I watched her face as she blushed and she said. "Okay."

It was cute because she turned towards the battle and tried to hide her blush from me. I went around her and held her from behind and watched the battle unfold. Beast was taking four rogues on at once. He had two rogues on his back trying to choke him. He had the other two in his hands ripping out their throats. He threw his head back and hit the rouge on his left in the face. The rogue let go and fell on the floor; he grabbed the rogue on his right and ripped his head off. Amon was using his vampire speed and killed the rogue that fell from beast by crushing his head into the floor. He then turned and kissed Beast on the lips.

Amon's POV

"Lets finish this so we can walk to the spanish steps."

"I am ready for this to be over. Lets just knock them all out and toss them in the middle."

"Alright give me four minutes and the rest of the rouges will be knocked out."

I didn't give him a chance to respond and I disappeared from his side. They were easy to knock out because they didn't see me coming. It was kind of funny, because they fell slowly and when they hit the floor their heads bounced off of the floor. After a few minutes pass I was already done. I stopped right beside Alessandro and he looked irritated because I took the fun away from him.

"Lets get them in the middle of the room. Baby its safe you both can come down. Ranesmay once we are done can you set them on fire so we can get out of here and walk to the Spanish Steps."

Together we dragged the rouges bodies to the center of the room. It took about five minutes with all of us moving the bodies. I looked over at Ranesmay and she started walking around the pile. When she got back to the spot she was at she summond fire into her hand. It wasn't the normal orange or blue fire. The fire was violet with white. I heard a few of the rogues groan and she threw the fire onto the pile. The rogues started to scream and over there screams; she yelled.

"Fuckers this is what you get for interrupting my honeymoon."

I looked at the pile and seen some of them already turning to ash and other are still screaming. I turned around and she was gone.

"She already left; lets go catch up." I said to everyone.

We walked out of the room and caught up to her. We walked out of the front doors as the fire alarms went off. Through the bond I could tell Ranesmay was furious so we walked in silence for a while. Letting her cool down. She stopped over by the drinking fountain and took a drink of the water and looked back at us.

"If our honeymoon gets interupted again I will slaughter everyone that is involved myself. Now then lets take a walk and head for the spanish steps and I can tell you all the cool facts my book has about it."

Her aura was out and every single wolf in the area dropped and as I looked around I could see them shaking. I took a deep breath and walked towards her. "Baby we understand. Now lets head to the Spanish Steps." I said while rubbing her back.

She took a deep breath and started to slowly calm down. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and we started walking. I watched as was looking through the table of contents for the spanish steps. When she found it she turned to the correct page and she was ingrossed into the book. It made me smile.

"Hey did you guys know that the Spanish Steps are not the real name? The proper name is La Scalinata di Trinita dei Monti and it is only refered as the Spanish Steps in English."

"Really; that is actually a cool fact. I wonder how many steps there are?" Bunny asked.

"Well to answer your question and add information. The steps were completed in 1725 after two years of hard work. Once it was completed it was dedicated to the Holy trinity church at the top of the steps. The Steps stand for father, son, and the holy spirit. There is 135 steps to be exact."

"Wow is there any funny facts about the steps?" Beast asked.

"Yes there is a few that is probably not in the travel guide. Back in 2007 someone was caught driving drunk down the steps. According to the news report it was a 24 year old drunk Colombian man started driving down the stairs. From what the report said he didn't realize he was driving down the stairs. Once he did realize what he was doing he got out of the car and tried pushing the car back up the stairs. Obviously he was arrested. But that wasn't the only time. The second time it happened was in 2018. A 27 year old Italian drunk man was arrested in the early morning of December 9th 2018 for also driving down the stairs while drunk. I laughed about it when it came on the news. Oh and after the first drunk driver the steps were repaired between 2015 and 2016. The 18th Century Monument underwent a 1.5 million euro restoration by luxury fashion house Bulgari." Alessandro stated and kept walking.

We looked at him dumb founded. So I pulled out my phone and looked it up and it came up. I clicked on the link and read the article's about both incidents. What he said was true. We laughed at the pictures of the two vehicles on the steps. When we looked back up he was no longer walking ahead of us. I looked around and when I was about to turn around. He laughed and scared the s**t out of me.

"Those were the pictures they showed on the news. Are you guys ready to get there I want to show you where the poet John Keats died."

"Yes lets go. Is there anything about the Poet Ranesmay?" I said while walking away from the group.

"Actually yes there is. It says he died at the age of 25. And in his last words written he said that he could hear water from his death bed. There is also a museum set up where he died. It is called the Keats-Shelly house Museum. If we want to know anymore about this then we would have to go to the museum it self. But i'm hungry can we stop and get some food before we continue?"

"Okay lets find a spot to stop at and eat." Amon said.

(30 minutes later)

We finally made it to the steps. We were at the very top of the steps and I was about to take a step and Ranesmay grabbed my shirt and pulled me back.

"What?"

"There is a warning in my travel guide. It may sound counterintuitive but as of August 2019 you are no longer allowed to sit on the Spanish steps. This policy was put in place as an effort to ensure decorum and security in Rome's downtown. Also if we sit on the steps it can result in a 400 euro fine; which is $403.71 in our currency. Now that I read the warning we can continue and go down the steps." Ranesmay said still reading her travel guide.

I loved how she was so sucked into the facts about the Roman Monuments. We followed her down the steps and held on to her so one she wouldn't fall and two so she wouldn't run into anyone. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the bottom of the steps because Ranesmay and Bunny had to stop and take multiple breaks. I wasn't complaining because their beauty with the sun light hitting them had me re-adjust my c**k. I looked over at Beast and seen he was doing the same thing. I took pictures of them in front of the fountain.

Ranesmay looked at me and flipped me off while shaking her head as I was taking pictures of them. I don't really understand but the years I have been with her she really hates her picture being taken. But I still do it anyways to keep these little peaceful moments and memories alive.
