True mates

Seraphina's POV

We were walking down the cobble stone streets headed for the Spanish Steps. It was a beautiful day. The sun was out with a gentle breeze. I was able to smell all of the flowers up on the window sills above us. I was talking to my wolf Jazabell while keeping an eye out for any possible problems or attempted attacks.

"We have to stay with our mate." Jazabell said with a hint of anger.

"I know but I don't want to push him."

"Well you need to. We are his true mate not the b***h he is with." Jazabell said showing her teeth and growling.

"Stop being pushy. If he needs us for anything we will be there; but until then we have to keep our distance, at least for a while." I said to her and then blocked her.

(Flashback)

I remember the morning I was going to my Alpha's house to properly meet the kings and queens; Jazabell was going crazy. She was jumping around, howling like an i***t. When I asked her what was going on she told me to wait and see. I told her fine just stop with the howling your giving me a headache. After about an hour she finally stopped. When I first saw my mate I was extremely excited and happy. I was honestly hoping he would be happy seeing me, but when I looked in his eyes for the first time, I was able to see confusion, anger, disbelief.

When we went out to watch over the property and make sure nothing happened. I took a deep breath and spoke to him.

"So.... We are mates. You don't seem too happy about it; can you tell me why?"

"I already have a mate back in the states. I know it's possible to have more than one mate, but I just want one mate."

"I fully understand and I don't mind waiting for you....."

"Wrong. I, Gamma D of the Lycan and Wolf Midnight Blue Moon Shadow Pack, Reject you Head Warrior Seraphina as my mate."

After he said those words, I almost dropped to my knees because of the pain. I had tears in my eyes and gritted my teeth.

"I reject your rejection."

I looked into his eyes and he looked shocked. I took a deep breath and walked away. I can't believe he actually tried to reject me. My entire life I have been waiting for my mate. I want to go with him to the states but I don't want it to be akward. Even if he has a mate already I still love him. I don't know what to do. Should I keep my distance for now or should I stay close. I was in the front yard thinking when I heard the alarms go off. I took off inside and looked at the monitors. Once I seen how many pack members and rogues there were. I walked to the front of the house and went to the west side of the property. I shifted into my grey wolf ripping my clothes. Readying myself for the battle to come.

I felt a tap on my shoulder which ended my flashback. I took a deep breath and looked over and it was Beta Alex.

"Seraphina are you okay? Do you want a drink?" Beta Alex asked with concern lacing his voice.

I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you but no I'm good. Are we stopping for a moment?"

"Yes we have stopped for a bathroom break for the queens. You know you can always talk to me about anything. I don't know what happened between you and Gamma D; but I view you as my little sister and if he hurt you all you need to do is tell me and I will put him in his place."

"Thank you Beta Alex but I am fine. Also you have known me since I was born so you are like an older brother to me to. But what is going on between me and my mate will stay between us. I know where he stands and he knows where I stand. Now we should continue with our journey to the Spanish Steps since we are only three minutes away."

"You're right. I am sorry if I over stepped." He said while walking beside me.

"It's okay; I know that your worried about me." I smiled at him and we finished the walk in silence.

Beast's POV

We finally arrived at the Spanish Steps and they were beautiful. I looked over at Ranesmay and her face lite up when she seen them. Her smile was beautiful. The wind picked up and the way her hair flew in the wind. Her and Bunny are the most beautiful and sexy women among all of the tourist here.

"Since we are at the bottom of the steps, I think we should go and see the John Keats Museum first and then we can stop and get some tea before we meet the car at the top of the steps." She said while dragging me and the others to the museum where the poet died.

Her excitement is contagious and we all started to get excited. It is funny with everything that has happened in her life and how much she's changed over the years and how she grew into a beautiful young women and mother. We went inside and we were able to take the next tour.

(An hour and half later)

We finished the tour and it was great we were able to see where John Keats died and where he wrote his poetry. We stopped at the Babington's Tea Room. I was astounded when I heard the history. This Tea room has been open since the year 1893. Ranesmay and Bunny looked at the menu trying to decide which tea they should go for. They looked at the lady and asked which tea has the least amount of caffiene or no caffiene perfered.

The lady at the counter said. "Our white tea's have the least amount of caffiene but our herbal tea has no caffiene."

They both looked at each other while rubbing their baby bumps and looked back at her. Ranesmay was the first to speak.

"I would like the forest fruit herbal tea and a bag of tea diamond cookies."

"I would like the African Nights Herbal Tea with a bag of chocolate chip cookies."

"Okay and is there anything else I can get you?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"That is all for us but the rest of our group still has to order." Ranesmay said and she looked behind them and her eyes went wide with shock.

After about ten minutes everyone finally ordered and we left. We slowly walked up the spanish steps and it took about thirty minutes due to having to stop every once in awhile for our pregnant mates to catch their breath. By the time we got to the top the cars were waiting for us. We hopped in the car that Mateo is driving and then we left.
