Break in at Hotel Artemide/ Kingdoms

Amon's POV

Mateo dropped us off at our hotel. We went inside the lobby and the receptionist smiled and said good afternoon, but her scent told me she was scared and worried. I made note of it and we went to the elevator. Gamma D pushed the button for our floor and the doors closed and we went up. It was only a short ride before the ding for our floor the doors opened. We walked down the hall to our rooms and when we got to Beta Derek's room, I felt a sinking feeling in my gut. The handle and room key box were broken and the door was wide open. We looked at our two rooms and, the same thing, all of our doors were broken and just hanging open. Beta Derek and Gamma D opened the door the rest of the way and went in. They checked the entire room and the disgusting smell of death and dirt wafted out of the room. I looked over at Ranesmay and saw her start puking all over the floor because of the smell. I did my best to ignore the smell because I would be doing the same thing as her. Beast went over and soothed Ranesmay while holding her hair back. I was able to feel through the bond that all of us were pissed off, but I also felt distressed and concerned even more for all of our safety. Beta Derek and Gamma D came out of the room and Derek was even more pissed off.

"My passport was taken. We will check the other two rooms and find out what is all missing. We will meet you in the lobby. Amon and Beast." Derek said as I looked at them. "I would like you both not to leave their sides. Whoever did this was also aiming to kill all of us." Derek said with aggression.

I looked at Derek and growled. Beast picked up Ranesmay and I grabbed Bunny's hand and we followed them back to the elevator. Beast banged on the first floor button and we started to go down. After two minutes in the elevator, we reached the lobby and went to the sitting area. I walked to the counter and looked at the receptionist and she automatically bowed her head.

"Your Majesty, how can we help you today?"

"I need to have a word with your manager. Have him come over to where we are sitting. Immediately."

"Right away, your majesty."

As she was responding, I walked away and went back to the sitting area. While waiting for the manager, Beta Derek and Gamma D came down. Beast looked up from Bunny and looked behind her.

"Okay, so we have finished searching the rooms and we have made a list of what is all missing." Beta Derek said angrily.

Ranesmay's POV

When the elevator dinged and the doors opened, I was able to sense the anger and the caution coming from our beta and gamma. They walked over to us and started talking and telling us what they had found and made a list of everything missing. I tuned them out because I started to cramp and I was in so much pain. I tried talking to my Lycan and vampire but I couldn't reach them. That is when I felt my mate's eyes on me. I had tears in my eyes and when I looked up I was able to see the worry in their eyes. I took a deep breath and slowly let it out.

"I am okay. Go ahead and keep informing us about what is missing." I said with compassion in my voice.

"Well, my Queen, the only things that are missing are all of our passports and all of the blood supply, that we brought for you both" Beta Derek said in anger while looking at all of us.

"It is apparent that we are not safe here. Whoever did this, knew what room we were staying in and how to get in. We need to get ahold of our brother and fast. Amon do you think you could get ahold of him?" I asked him.

"Of course, my love. Anything for you. Do you want me to let him know what is going on?" He asked.

"No. Until we are in a safe place, we can't talk about this. We don't know who is listening to this conversation right now. I will mind link High Beta Sarah and High Beta Killer and let them know what is going on. I will also have them send a few warriors to help guard us. As of right now, we are no longer safe. Beta Derek, please go find Mateo and have him get the car ready. Gamma D get rid of everything we brought with us that could be poisoned, including clothes, jewelry, hair products, and anything else."

Once I was done telling everyone else what to do, I opened up the mind link to my High Beta. They answered automatically. I was able to feel them inside my head. It gave me a sense of calm and hope.

"High Beta Sarah and High Beta Killer we have bad news. We will be leaving the hotel and going underground for a short time. Someone broke into our rooms and stole the blood and our passports. We will need you to send at least ten of our best warriors with our extra passports and blood." I said through the link.

"My queen consider it done. Is there any other request that we can help with?" High Beta Killer said with sadness and anger in his voice.

"Yes, I would like ten extra warriors to be sent to our children and their mates. I haven't heard from them in a while and I am getting worried. Oh, and I only want one person handling the blood."

"Of course your majesty. We will get everything in order." Head Beta Sarah said.

"Thank you to both of you. I will mind link you our location once we get there." I said, and then I cut the link with a small smile on my face.

Head Beta Sarah's POV

I was in my office when I received the mind link from our High Queen. I was hoping for some good news but unfortunately it wasn't. I took a deep breath and then my office door was opened by my mate. I gave him a small smile and I pointed to one of the seats in front of my desk. I could tell he just came from training becuase all he had on was a pair of basketball shorts and his skin is glistening with sweat. I bit my nail just staring at him and he coughed and I refocused.

I took a deep breath and started. "I know you got the same link I did. That is way you left training early. Right?"

"Yes, okay, so I want Head Warrior Zero to handle the blood and passports. You can help him decide who the top ten warriors that will be traveling to the werewolf palace to protect the kids and the top ten to our kings and queens."

"Alright then, let's head to the training grounds."

We walked out of my office and walked to the back of the palace towards the training grounds. When we got outside, I shifted into my lycan and he shifted into his wolf. We made it to the training grounds in under 5 minutes. I shifted back to my human form and walked over to Zero, who was correcting a female teen's stance. I had a tight smile on my face and I let my aura go to let him know that I was walking up to him. The female teen looked up and gave me a dirty look. She looked to be around 18 years old. I watched as she looked behind me and was staring at my mate. I sniffed the air and I growled at her because I was able to smell her arousal. I was fuming at this little lycan so I let my entire aura go and she fell to her knees and tilted her neck, showing her submission. I kneeled down and used my pointer finger and lifted her head.

"The next time you give me a dirty look and then check my mate out and I can smell your arousal, we will hold a trial for you when our kings and queens get back from their honeymoon. You will respect my position as your high beta. Now why don't you go home. Training is done for today. You can pick it back up tomorrow and I will be training you."

I stood up and took a deep breath. I looked over at Zero and he was slightly chuckling at how I handled the situation. I dropped my aura so the girl could move and she got up and ran.

Head Warrior Zero Pov

I was confused when she said the teens training was done for the day when it had only been 45 minutes and they have an 1 hour and 15 minutes left of training.

"Can you please explain why training is finished for the teens?"

"We will explain everything, but after the training grounds are completely free of prying eyes and ears."

I nodded and then turned to the rest of the teens. I cleared my throat and spoke to them. "Alright, everyone training is over for the day. You all did great. Try and practice the new moves I have shown you in your free time at home. Training will be on time tomorrow. Anyone late will have to run 40 laps around the training grounds in human form unless you were already excused. Have a good day."

I looked over at my beta's and I was able to tell that they had received bad news. After 10 minutes of silence, the training grounds were finally cleared and we were the only ones left.

"So our kings and queens are going underground for the time being. We are needing you and 9 of our best warriors to fly out and meet them. You will be in charge of the blood and the extra passports for them. We will also need 10 of our other top warriors to head towards the werewolf kingdom and help guard the palace there." Sarah whispered to me to make sure no one else was able to hear.

"Alright, if that is all, I will get the teams set up and get the blood and passports. High Beta Killer. I would like for you to help me choose who will be going with. Then we will head out." I said with a small frown on my face, looking at him and he nodded in agreement.

"There are two more things. I will be taking over training while you are gone and here you go." I handed him the passports so he would have one less thing to take care of before he left.

"Thank you High Beta Sarah. I will link our highest ranking warriors to meet in front of the palace in 15 minutes." I said as I started walking away.

I jogged up the hill to the palace and decided to link our highest ranking warriors to meet out front in 15 minutes. So, Beta Killer and I could choose the warriors that would be traveling with me and to the werewolf kingdom.

Zanes POV

It has been three days since we arrived and I am bored out of my mind. We were given strict orders from our parents not to go outside, but my lycan, vampire, and wolf are going stir crazy. They hate being inside all of the time. Believe me, they have been constantly nagging me about shifting, hunting, and just having fun. It has been pissing me off. "Your Majesties, I am here to protect you at all cost. But I am also here to inform you that the Queen and King of the Werewolves has been murdered. I am here to escort you to the safe room where you will meet your siblings."

That was when my mate shattered. She dropped to the floor and was crying. I quickly picked her up whispering soothing words to her. Trying to make sense of everything and comfort my mate. I took a deep breath and looked at Rosaland.

"Lead the way. Also I want an entire sweep of the castle done. When we get to the safe room I want double the warriors there. We are in lock down. Any evidence you find that might link to whoever killed the late Queen and King I want it brought to me personally. No one is to leave the castle."

Once I was finished giving the orders we had arrived at the safe room. I looked around before entering pissed off because there was only four warriors outside of the door. Rosaland opened the door to the safe room and I entered. I turned around and look at Rosaland and nodded my head for her to go do as I said. I watched as she quickly closed the door. I took a seat and held my mate as she cried in my arms. I looked around and seen that my sisters were also comforting their mates.

"I have more warriors coming to post up at the door I am going to mind link High Beta Sarah and let her know. Then I will mind link our parents. Also we are in complete lock down."

Before I could mind link anyone a knock came to the door. I quickly got up and put my mate in our seat. I could tell she didn't want to let me go but in the end she did. I walked over to the door and opened it ready to use my powers. Rosaland and four others came in.

"Your Majesties, I have done what you requested. These four warriors will be in here to protect you while we go over the evidence. We did find the murder weapon as well."

"Thank you. Let me get my mate calmed down first and notify a few people and then I will be ready to go over the evidence."

I walked back over to our seat and held my mate. I took a deep breath and linked High Beta Sarah and High Beta Killer.
