Chapter 13

2445 Words
Thalia Thalia felt a little upset about the things they were saying about Jasper. Regardless of what he's done, there's no way he's involved. They have never left each other's sight in the last five years up until now. Except for one other time. Thalia closed her eyes and shook her head, now was not the time to think about that. She couldn't help but worry about Jasper right now anyway. He most likely has no idea his father is in the area. Trevor has probably already sent out a search party to go look for him. Deep down she wanted to go find him herself, give him the chance to explain his actions, and apologize. And just maybe they could get out of this and settle down for good. She could feel her wolf's immediate anger thinking that Thalia wanted to give up on their mate and pick someone who would go against their will and force the bonding process. That's not what she meant, was it? Thalia was suddenly aware of the awkward silence that surrounded everyone, it seemed like they wanted to say something but decided against it. Feeling frustrated she pushed herself up suddenly. "Look, I don't know why everyone suddenly has a desire to help me now, I survived before and I can do it again. And I don't need anyone's permission to go help my friend" Thalia said confidently as she locked eyes with Tasia who recoiled a little bit at her words. "You got yourself a fiesty Luna here," Marcus said as he let out a laugh while he clapped Tasia on the shoulder. This irritates Thalia even more, why is he so handsy with Tasia? She thought to herself before his words sunk in. Wait, what? Tasia made her way over to Thalia in just a few strides, slipping her hand into Thalias and pulling her in a little close. The single touch from her mate calmed her down immediately, all of her negative thoughts just melted away in an instant "No one thinks you are naive. We just don't trust Jasper." Tasia said with her own pleading eyes. Thalia held onto her gaze as she studied her mate. Finding herself captivated once again by this person she barely knew, She could see and feel Tasia's concern for her. "Then trust me," Thalia said firmly. Tasia let out a defeated sigh as she looked down before she finally nodded her head and looked back up to Thalia. "Okay," she said. Jasper Why does she keep resisting? She's already accepted the fact that it was the two of them together forever. Why is she going back on her promise? Jasper thought to himself. The feeling of the cool wood from the bar felt nice against his forehead as he lay hunched over with his hands on the back of his neck while he wallowed in his self-pity, surrounded by empty beer bottles. "Ya know, I'm not sure what a handsome wolf like you is doing in a lonely dump like this, but it seems like you could use a friend" an alluring feminine voice spoke in almost a whisper. If Jasper wasn't a wolf, he never would have heard her over the loud music and drunken chatter of the humans around them. He lifted his head and turned to look at her, a tall and curvy blonde woman stood before him. Her dirty blonde curls fell around her shoulders loosely, complimenting her skin-tight black mini dress with off-the-shoulder straps that display her cleavage quite nicely. Jasper couldn't help but let out a sly smile in approval as he could already smell the female wolf's arousal. Before Jasper knew it he was aggressively panting and grunting as her claws dug into his back, drawing blood as he buried his length into her wet core. She moaned and gasped loudly with her back pressed up against the brick wall of the building in the alley behind the bar as her legs wrapped around his waist holding him in, the force of his thrusts causing her head to repeatedly hit the wall before he brought his hand up to grasp around her throat to hold her into place as he released his load into her, grunting as she tightened around him milking him of everything he had built up from earlier. He stiffened as the sound of a clearing throat that brought him out of his post-orgasm haze. He let go of the girl and pulled himself out to zip up his pants as he turned around giving her the decency to gather herself before he moved out of the way. He found himself face to face with none other than his father. "That's not what I meant by keep him occupied until I arrived, Amanda" Alpha Trevor said with his arms folded. Annoyance covered his face as he peered past Jasper. Amanda stepped out from behind Jasper as she adjusted the bottom of her dress before she strutted up to him unfazed by what he said. "You never specified," she said as she held her palm out towards him. Trevor scoffed in disgust and put a wad of money in her hand and motioned for her to get out of there. Amanda looked back at Jasper over her shoulder and gave him a wink before she strutted off. Jasper couldn't help but watch her as she left, smiling to himself as he noticed a few drippings leak down between her thighs. He turned his attention back to his father where he lost his smile. "Let's get a drink," Trevor said as he turned around and headed out of the alley towards the bar. Jasper rolled his eyes and hesitated before he began to follow his father into the bar. Thalia Thalia sat in a chair on the balcony of her guest room. Her knees pulled up as she peered out at the gathering that was still going on. There weren't as many people out there now as there were earlier. The little information she got was that Acacia Moon was hosting some kind of Territories Conference. Apparently, all the Alphas and high-ranked pack and council members get together once a year. And Thalia just so happened to stumble upon the one place she shouldn't have been caught in. Maybe Jasper was right about leaving. They should have been long gone by now. If they had gone though, Thalia would have never met Tasia. The sound of a door opening brought Thalia out of her thoughts. She turned her head to look over at the balcony next to hers. The woman that stepped out automatically piqued Thalia's interest. The slight breeze wafted her scent towards Thalia making her inhale the intoxicating scent oh Chamomile and Honey, causing her to hold her legs tighter together. Her body was beginning to gain a mind of its own. She watched Tasia lean against the balcony and stare up into the stars with her palms pressed against the iron bars. Her hair hung free in loose waves from the braid she had in earlier. She wore a tight black Tank top that stopped just above her navel with a pair of dark grey baggy sweat pants that hung off her waistline, low enough you could see the baby blue strings to her thong that hugged her hips. Thalia felt so confused with herself. She had never felt this way about anyone before. She knew her body was reacting because of the bond. But what about her mind? Is that from the bond too? Tasia turned her head to lock eyes with Thalia. Her eyes held a knowing look as if she could feel Thalia's inner turmoil. "With all this distance between us, I can't help but feel like maybe I said something to upset you," Tasia said as she stood up to turn her body around to face Thalia. "That's not it at all. And we are hardly that far away from each other" Thalia scoffed as she rolled her eyes. Thalia's wolf growled at her, knowing she didn't believe that. Thalia knew she longed to be within touching distance of Tasia, but again. Was that her? Or was that the bond? Or maybe even her wolf. She kept a wall between herself and her wolf for so long she had forgotten what it was like to share the same consciousness again. "Something tells me you don't believe that" she teased with a half-c****d smile. Thalia giggled softly as she rolled her eyes. Not long after, her smile fell. "I'm sorry, I just..need some time to think...I think.." Thalia said, furrowing her eyebrows at her statement. Truth is, she doesn't know what she needs. "Don't ever apologize for something like that" Tasia said soothingly. "Whatever it is that you need..just take it," she said. Thalia was getting ready to respond until she heard knocking on a door. Tasia jerked her head to the door and looked back to Thalia and lifted her index finger to signal to her she'd be back in a moment. Thalia couldn't help but wonder who was visiting Tasia at this hour? Grant it some of the party was going on but mostly everyone was staying in the guest houses out on the field grounds. Everyone thought it'd be best for Thalia and Tasia to stay In the guest rooms at the packhouse away from everyone else. The moment Thalia heard a male voice in Tasia's room, Thalia couldn't help but feel immediate anger and Jealousy. The male voice belonged to the same man that was getting handsy with her mate earlier. She also couldn't help but notice his scent all over Tasia. Before she could stop herself she was already storming through her room to get to the door, swinging it open bringing Marcus's shocked attention to Thalia. Thalia pushed herself past Marcus to squeeze between the both of them to put distance between the both of them as she faced Marcus. He was much taller than her so she had to look up to meet his eye contact. The look of amusement on his face made her eyes contort black with anger as she bared her fangs at him. "I don't know what your relationship is with my mate but I've heard a few rumors that don't sit right with me. I also don't appreciate you getting all touchy Feely with her neither. She stinks of you enough. If you're looking for a vacant room there's one next door. Good night" she spat coldly and slammed the door in his face. She stared at the door for a moment before she realized what she had just done. Thalia turned around slowly to look at an impressed and according to her darkened eyes, a slightly turned on Tasia. "I thought you needed time to... think?" Tasia asked with an eyebrow raised and a wide grin on her face. Thalia could feel her face burning hot as she tried to think up an excuse. "I.." Thalia began but was caught off guard by Tasia's swift movement. One second she was standing in front of her, the next Thalia was being pulled forward into her arms and met with the softest and sweetest lips she had ever tasted. The sparks shot through her body like fireworks as Thalia's hands instinctively reached up to cup both sides of Tasia's face, holding her in and hoping she would never leave. Every doubt she had about accepting Tasia has been completely tossed out the door. This is what Thalia has been longing for. Tasia finally pulled away, her chest heaving as they stared into each other's blackened eyes trying to catch their breath. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to rush you like that. I'm not sure what came over me" Tasia said. Thalia immediately shook her head. "No, It's okay. I'm sorry for overstepping there. It was just hearing him.. and seeing him.. I couldn't help but feel like maybe there was something between the both of you..and not to mention the rumors..but I know that I don't have any place to talk.." Thalia rambled on as she was beginning to panic as she reached up to touch the unwanted mark that cursed her skin. Tasia reached up to grasp her hand and pull it down. The contact calmed Thalia down from her thoughts. Tasia pulled Thalia over to the giant queen-sized bed that sat in front of the sliding doors to the balcony. Tasia climbed up into the tall bed and pulled Thalia with her to sit in front of her, their fingers intertwined together and rested in Thalia's lap. "you deserve to know. And I'm sorry I didn't say anything earlier. He wasn't the one on my mind, so I just didn't think about it. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't anything between Marcus and I. It used to just be hate, anger, and rivalry. Recently though, he's been one of my biggest supporters. And if it wasn't for him bringing me here, I would have never have found you. Things did get...heated a few times but it didn't go far. Those feelings and thoughts are long gone, and he respects that. He might be a complete ass, but he knows better than to agitate someone's Luna" Tasia said with a snicker. There it was again. "Okay, why do people keep saying that? am I missing something?" Thalia asked confused. Tasia stared at her with a blank face. Thalia raised an eyebrow at her. What's with the sudden silence? "Right.. so..The term Luna is a title given to.." Tasia started "I know what a Luna is, but why do I feel like I'm being referenced to as a Luna? I'm no Luna. I'd have to be mated to an Alpha" she said. Tasia stared at her again. "well.. you are," Tasia said simply. It was Thalia's turn to stare at Tasia with a blank face. Thalia was beginning to feel like Tasia was trying to tell her she was a pack Alpha. That couldn't be right. Could it? "I'm Alpha Tasia Romano of the Southern pack Fiorire Moon," Tasia said confidently. Authors Note: I'm so sorry it's been a long time since an update! I'm a general manager for a coffee shop and that has taken a lot of my time and energy here lately. Along with some personal issues on top of that! I've also been having some bad writer's block and have been sitting on this chapter in my drafts for a while. I think I'm now starting to get back on track and plan to have timely updates!
