Cody waved to his dad as he drove off, and then knocked on Dominic’s front door. It opened and Adam stood in the doorway. He wore a tank top and shorts, which showed off his muscular legs.
“Hey,” Adam said, and then threw his arms around Cody, giving him a powerful hug.
“Hey.” Cody almost melted in his friend’s embrace. He walked inside and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
“Dominic’s in his office, trying to get notes or something ready for the meeting today,” Adam explained.
