Zoey’s POV I felt a little bit better after talking to my sisters.  While I wasn’t thrilled that we were going to all be in different places, I think Joey was right and that it would be good for us. I would focus on the positive of it.  I would be with Tate, I would be working towards my career, I would be my own person.  I was doing a lot of reflecting on the school year I had experienced. It had been like any other. I never thought I would have experienced all of that.  Two boyfriends, rivalries, Joey almost dying, falling in love properly. It was like life really wanted  to throw me for a loop. I thought I would have a calm year with some fun dating and sticking with my sisters.  Honestly as messy as the year had been, I was so grateful for all that had happened. It felt like grown so much. “What are you thinking about?” Tate interrupted my thoughts.  I smiled. “Just everything that’s happened since I met you.” “It’s been kind of a whirlwind, huh?”  “Yeah, I can’t believe it. I didn’t think I’d ever actually get you.” “Oh, I knew I’d get you,” Tate grinned. “I knew we were meant to be.” “No, you were just Tate Highmore and you always get what you want.” I teased. “You knew that I wouldn’t be an exception.” “Exactly,” He kissed me. “I cannot believe the school year is practically over now. It feels insane that we’re going out into the real world. That I’m really supposed to step into my father’s shoes.” “You can do it, babe. I believe in you.”  “That’s the only reason I can do it.” I looked out the window and saw Marsden. He looked kind of suspicious. “What’s Marsden doing?” Tate looked out of the window too. “I don’t know. Looks like he’s up to something though.” We continued watching him. He stopped when he reached Keene Creighton. They whispered and glanced around before Keene handed him over something. From where we were I couldn’t see what it was. “What do you think that is?” Tate asked. “Not something dangerous right?” “If it wasn’t you’d think that they’d do it in a suspicious way.” I stated.  Marsden shoved the object in his pocket and tried to look casual as Joey walked up to them. Joey kissed Marsden and waved at Keene.  So this was also something he was hiding from Joey.  I knew we were supposed to stop our suspicions and accusations of Marsden, but this was weird! He didn’t usually hide anything from Joey as far as I knew.  So why was he now? -- “How has Marsden been?” I asked.  “Amazing! He’s really excited for the end of the year and our future.” Joey smiled.  “That’s good,” “He hasn’t been weird or anything?” “Um…yeah I guess. But, I don’t know I guess no weirder than usual.” Joey giggled. “He’s not exactly normal you know?” “Oh I’m more than aware.” I laughed.  “Why do you ask?” “I just thought I saw him doing something kinda weird with Keene and just wanted to make sure he was okay.” “Doing what?” “I don’t know, they were whispering and Keene gave him something,” I tried to sound casual. “That is strange,” Joey frowned. “Maybe some weird guy thing?” “Yeah, probably. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. I just figured you’d know about it since you guys usually tell each other everything.” “Usually? We still do tell each other everything.” “Then why didn’t he tell you about whatever he was doing with Keene?” “It probably wasn’t important!” Joey snapped. “Well I guess you’ll never know.” I shrugged.  “I will know! I’ll ask Marsden about it because we tell each other everything!” “I sure hope that’s the case.” “Whatever!” Joey got up and stomped away.  Tate slid into the seat next to me. “So?” “Oh she’s going to go confront Marsden right now, I’m sure.” I grinned.  “You, my love are absolutely brilliant.” Tate kissed me. “Be prepared to be the shoulder that Joey needs to cry on.” Chloey’s POV “Rune, why did you tell Joey that you know?!” I whined.  “I thought she knew!” “She’s going to kill me, Rune! She’s a…Dark Vampiric Warlock now. She could literally kill me!” “You’re her sister, she will not kill you.” Rune assured me. “I’m sure she’s not even that mad. She didn't seem to be. I mean she was definitely thrown off.” “Really?” I asked. “She wasn’t that mad?” “No, I’m sure she barely even cares.” -- “What the f**k, Chloey?!” “I’m sorry, okay? I just couldn’t keep it from him anymore!” “You couldn’t at least give me a heads up?” Joey hissed.  “I was going to, but you were going through things and I didn’t want to make you more stressed!” I replied. “But I’m sorry, okay? I really am.” “I don't like that he knows so much, Chloey. What if he wakes up and wants to tell Tate everything? What if Zoey finds out?” “She won’t! Magnus talked to him and he completely understands this plan!” “I’m sure that’s true and I like and trust Rune, it’s just…he has a lot on me and Marsden now. I don’t want him to use it against us ever.” Joey mumbled.  “He would never do that, I swear.” I whispered. “Do you trust me, Joey?” “I want to.” Joey stated. “You have to.” -- There would be a full moon tonight.  On top of Rune’s other side effects, I also noticed that he became more sexually hungry. He was all over me merely hours before the moon rose. It was so hot in his room, but that was probably because of how long we’d been under the covers.  Rune was on top of me ramming into me like crazy as his damp hair hung on his forehead. He bit his lip as his eyes rolled back.  “f**k Chloey! You feel so f*****g good.” My head sank into the pillows. “Rune, you’re amazing!” I cried out.  His hand hooked under my knee as he pressed his chest against mine. He kissed me sloppily through his ragged breathing. Rune’s lips moved down to my neck nibbling and sucking.  It caused me to squirm uncontrollably. I moaned loudly, right in his ear, knowing how much it turned him on. “I’m so close,” Rune whimpered as his hips moved faster.  I could feel every inch of Rune slamming into me. I was losing my mind.  “Finish for me, Rune,” I breathed. “Deep in me.” I loved how sexy I felt with him. Rune loudly groaned as he spilled inside of me.  “f**k,” He panted. “Can you go again in a few minutes?” “Rune, my legs are already shaky,” I laughed.  “But I won’t get to make love to you for a few days. I have to get in as many rounds as I can.” “I will give you as many rounds as possible…if you let me do something.” Rune raised his eyebrows. “Why do I feel like I won’t like this?” “You might not.” -- “Your boyfriend has been kind of weird this week.” Joey commented. “Weird how?” I asked.  “I don’t know, it’s hard to say, but I just know he’s been kind of off.” “Yeah, I guess that’s true. He’s going through a lot.” “Oh, really? Is he okay?” Joey asked.  I nodded. “He’s been going through some…changes.” I whispered.  “What kind of changes?”  I leaned in. “If I tell you something, can you please not tell anyone? Even Marsden?” “You’re scaring me, Chlo.” “I know, but please promise me.” “I promise.” Joey said firmly.  “Rune is a werewolf.” Joey’s POV “A werewolf!?” “Shh!” Chloey’s eyes widened. “You just said that you wouldn’t say anything!” “I’m sorry, I'm just shocked!” I breathed. “Rune, a werewolf? How did we not know that?” “It’s a new development. The Rainbow Moon changed him.” “Holy s**t. No wonder we didn’t see him. The moon was out all the time. Chloey he’s not…dangerous is he?” “No more than Marsden is,” I replied.  She narrowed her eyes. “I was just making sure. Why did you tell me this?” “You were worried about Rune knowing a secret about you and Marsden and now you know one about him. The way I see it, you two knowing things about each other will keep things even. You’ll have no reason to tell on the other.” A smile came across my face. “You wanted to reassure me that everything would be okay.” “Exactly.” Chloey smiled back. “You have nothing to worry about, Joey, I promise.” “I believe you. Thank you. Is Rune okay with me knowing?” “I may have persuaded him to be.” “Chloey, you minx!” “What can I say? Rune can’t get enough of me.” -- I felt a million times more secure knowing that Rune was a werewolf.  I still couldn’t believe it, but I was sure everything would be okay. I trusted her when she said that he was safe and wouldn’t hurt her.  I was dating a Dark Vampiric Warlock, so I definitely couldn’t judge her. A Dark Vampiric Warlock who seemed to be keeping something from me.  “We don’t have any secrets, right, Marsden?” I asked.  He looked at me like I was insane. “Of course not baby.” “Are you sure?” “Of course, Jo. I would never keep anything from you.”  I looked deep in his eyes, trying to find a flicker of falseness. He seemed to be telling the truth. If he wasn’t I knew the way to get him to admit it.  “Good,” I whispered before kissing him. “That’s so…intimate.” “I know something else we could do that’s pretty intimate.” Marsden grinned.  He pulled me on top of him, kissing me fiercely. I grinded against him causing him to whimper against my lips. I could feel his erection growing in his pants. I dipped my hand under the band of his briefs before stroking him.  “Ah, Joey!” Marsden hissed, bucking his hips, desperate for more friction.  He rolled on top of me, still kissing me. I gasped as Marsden shoved two fingers inside of of me.  “You like that?” He breathed.  “Yes, Marsden!” I moaned.  He moved his fingers to my c**t playing and rubbing it. I gasped and panted through all the noises Marsden was causing me to make. His fingers were f*****g magic. Marsden slipped down between my legs and started licking and flicking his tongue against my throbbing c**t. My back lifted off the bed in pure ecstasy. Marsden’s strong hands pushed my hips down and he continued eating me out passionately.  I was bordering on my orgasm, I couldn’t hold it down any longer. I felt my body lose all control as I hit my climax, practically screaming.  Marsden slid into me easily, grunting as he always did and taking his usual pause before he pumped in and out of me.  “Oh f**k Marsden!” I cried out.  Something strange was moving through my body. I was changing. I felt my fangs grow out and my eyes vibrated slightly as they transformed. I opened my eyes to see Marsden too no longer looked normal. I didn’t realize how hard it was to control the concealment charms before this. Sex just completely and totally took my focus off anything else that mattered.  “You’re beautiful,” Marsden murmured as he kissed me. “So f*****g beautiful.” He knew that I was kind of insecure about how I looked when I was in this form.  “Do I know everything Marsden?” I whispered.  “Yes, Joey! Baby you know everything about me. You’re the only one.” He breathed heavily. Well that was my answer. Marsden's hands gripped my hips as he pounded into me harder. His mouth opened wide as he groaned loudly. I knew how close he was and I welcomed his orgasm.  I tightened around him and moved my hips along with his, letting him go deeper and faster. Marsden bit down on my neck as he came deep in me.  Now that I was a Dark Vampiric Warlock too, he could bit me a little harder. I think he liked that a lot.  “Can I be honest?” Marsden asked.  “Of course.” “I kind of like that you’re a Dark Vampiric Warlock now. I feel closer to you than ever.” All at once the dangerous choice I had made didn’t seem so bad after all.
