I was washing all the plates while Auntie Feli was with the boys talking about the cult. It appeared they found something about the group. Maybe Judith had told them. Where was she? Was she looking for Nathan? He hadn’t come back until now.
I never saw Nathan being like this – running away. I knew he was heartbroken because of what Judith did. I knew how Nathan loved her. I’d witnessed it before. I saw it from their eyes. Their love was something divine and enticing. I remembered Nathan always teased Judith in front of me and Auntie Feli and Grant too. Judith was strong. She was like an alpha female and with Nathan as the alpha male, it was like both of them had to conquer one another where mostly Nathan won.
So, when I saw how Nathan acted to Judith now, it was just…heartbreakin
