Sleeping angel , handsome than all

Lightly, she tapped him on his forehead the way a nurse does to tinny toddlers. Or did she touch him like baby intentionally? Was she in her feeling with that touch? Opening his eyes, he smiled sweetly. Enquiring whether he had overslept, she shook her head as if claiming any customer can oversleep at people's place of work unapologetically. He smiled widely reading her thoughts. In her head she couldn't place the right words to ask if he was staying around town. She was a woman and all her life she had been taught that it was wrong to ask men out. Well, this would be the revolution of the women in her "Do you live around?" She asked. She almost staggered back after these escaped her mouth. He saw this and leveled her slightly smiling. "Yes. And its okey to ask. You don't have to get embarrassed. I'm Ian. Lizzy right?' He had learnt her name from boss who called her every now and then 'Lizzy'. Everyone called her Lizzy. It had been shortened by her mother since birth. She had loved it and would never change it back to Elizabeth. Her mother only used her full name while angry. Were they making conversation? She cleared her throat which kept clogging every time she tried uttering something. If this was the day the world would swallow her alive then let it be. She would steal this moment to create friendship. "No, am not embarrassed, just wondering loud because you were soundly asleep." Damn! Was she already rude? Her friends had always claimed her tongue was untamed. That she never chose moments to ask her questions or comments. Her face paled with disappointment of ruining this moment that she may never have again. "If my work was printed and left tagged with my names, I would have dozzed off at my office. Unfortunately the person entitled with the task was nowhere to be found the time I arrived." Apologizing she explained her failures and promised in the near future she would do exactly that. Handing her more work and a business card, also apologized for drifting off at her work place, he squizzed her gently and whispered, "Next time you careless my face, I won't wake up nor stir in my sleep." Lizzy melted in her daze. She telepathed to a world of her own, a little sweat on her sides, eyes red and cheeks flushed. Had he just flirted with him. Was she imagining this? Before she could telepath back he was gone! Her boss smiling from the far end gave her a look of I don't know what that is and she shrugged back with a "me neither". That day's time literally run faster than her errands be because in her was unexpected energies that emanated from unknown sources. Her boss remarkable words were that she had never seen her ever this jumpy and happy. Ian didn't meet Lizzy as a coincidence like she thought, well maybe a planned one. One day he promised himself, that he would tell her. The first day he saw her, it was at his friends workplace. She didn't see him because he was concealed by the glass separating his friend's magnificent office from his employees. It was there he saw her professionally handling her duties, flashing her beautiful wide smile to her clients. She was medium in size, round breasts, chin highly lifted with a sense of pride, short tied hair tied at the back with a bun. Her teeth were beautiful dentals, very white, that would have made you think they had white pearls. Her employer must have trusted her with alot for Ian saw Lizzy handle so much but so well and her so much. She couldn't wait for her to leave and didn't hesitate to ask his long time friend who he had known for long. His friend described Lizzy as a woman from strict Catholic backgrounds, whos family is and has always been respected for as long as he could remember. He described as her as a humble but outgoing person who enjoys life but with a lot of dignity. He said for as long as he had known her, he had never heard of any negative critics on her. Most people had called her a woman of iron whose lines couldn't be closed easily. Most of her friends had wasted their lives on easy ways but she was amongst those who had maintained their respect by denying boys and man from taking advantage of their bodies. She had earned her place in the community by living well, this keeping most men from taking advantage of her life. He described her as strict, reserved though she loved life. Ian became intrigued by this description for in his whole adult life, these were the characters he had been searching for in all the women he had slept with. They had disappointed him by failing on one or two virtues he couldn't have in a woman. Some were greedy for urban life that they could barely afford, while others were so easy with men that brought competition on him. He swore he would find Lizzy and as he had to his other women to find out if she was just like them. He enquired about her workplace from his friend who was quick to warn him from destroying a good raised girl in quench for his insatiable lust. His friend swore he would never allow this and if any bad happened to Lizzy he would blame him. "I'm a changed man nick". Ian retorted "Nothing can change the hyena in you Ian, maaan she's a good lady keep your paws off her". Nick had watched Ian grab so much from life insatiably with determination that nothing stood in his way. He felt fear in his marrow from the way Ian watched Lizzy. It was like he had found a new fountain of his hungers and he knew there and then nothing would stop his friend. "Man am begging you please, not her". Ian "why?" With that "why" Ian left and nick didn't hear from him from a while. That same day Ian passed by Lizzy's place of work, left some documents from his office for printing. Lizzy with the same smile he had flashed at his friends office, welcomed him making him wish he could see this for the rest of his life. She was beautiful, natural beauty with no or unrecognizable make up. Her face was flawless with no visible powder or foundation. He had never understood what village girls did to their skins to maintain such beautiful faces. After finding out where she worked, he had come up with a plan to hijack her. The plan was perfect, it worked out fine. He made sure to leave marks with his visit, bossing her enough, yet flirted with her. His days were not easier either. The thought of her kept nagging him everyday. He couldn't understand why a woman who he had just met for a while became a regular thought to him. Everything else stopped mattering except for Lizzy. Everyday he planned on meeting her again with drama or marks to ensure he also became a part of her thoughts. He missed her and her charms. If she ever accepted him, he would never hurt her. He even forgot business meetings meant to happen that week until his notification rung as reminder. He had to travel away, this making him sad for he would miss her. Still, he felt it would sort out the fear he felt clinging onto him after Nick's alterations. He deeply knew he had no intentions of hurting Lizzy. But what if his friend was right? Was he really a bad person? Would this end like the others? He had not missed any of his women, but he clearly thought of Lizzy more than his problems. Somehow around her he felt alive and light. He wanted her, he ached for her. He hoped she did too. He had come back from work exhausted and knew seeing her would excite him. Her boss said she gone to run errands, telling her he would wait, Ian sunk on the and drifted off. When she woke him up, all he saw was a beautiful angel smoothing out his problems. He smiled at her making her shy and childish. She was so fair with her brown eyes sadly staring deep down into him. Did he misread her or had she ached for him? Straightening up to leave,he handed her his business card with a command she call him by once done with his work. He prayed it be sooner so he could get her contact. Everyday he kept staring at his phone with his words well chosen. But she didn't call. While busy drinking with a new woman his phone rang. His veins becoming anxious, he thought it was her. But no one of clients had landed from Uganda and he was supposed to travel. On way back to the city ,his phone rang again and this time he felt his client was going to be a bother. "What is it this time?". "Sir this is Lizzy, your work is ready".
