Forbidden Lovers
" When are we going to meet again?" I asked Charles, he and I met in the woods three months back when I went to collect the herbs to make potions.
We connected instantly in our first encounter making me want to forget the rivalry we have with the werewolves.
" Whenever you want, Darling! Just click your finger and I will be infront of you." I giggled at his sense of humor snuggling up to him. We were laying on the branch of a tree And I feel relaxed in his arms.
My life consist of me making potions so I can feed myself and help the elders cast spells on whoever needs them and healing the other supernaturals who comes to our coven.
Charles is like a breath of fresh air from all the responsibilities I have and the image iam holding up.
" I miss you all the time Charles." I said with a pout, I need to feel normal to breathe properly and he gives me that normalcy.
Everyone at my coven wants me to do that chores for them without thinking about me and how it can affect me.
Our coven is consist of three elder witches who rule our coven. Gemma is the eldest of the three sisters, Lily is the second one and Jasmine is the third one.
No one knows their age but they still looks like they are in their thirties.
" I miss you too, Maddie but we need to be discreet about meeting. If any one of our people finds out about us then they will kill us without hesitating." I just sighed, because I know what he is saying is right and they won't even hesitate to behead me nor him.
Our rivalry is running through centuries and no one is ready to compromise.
" Okay, I got it!" I sat up straight and closed my eyes to give him something which will protect him from evil.
I muttered a protection spell on a locket which I made myself and attached it to the chain.
" Here, Wear this." I clasped it around his neck and stroked it gently. Dread and loneliness already consuming me at the thought of parting ways with Charles.
" What is this for?" He asked, holding the locket and eyeing it.
" I have casted a protection spell on it which will protect you always. I want this on you 24/7 Charles." He pulled me towards him and took my lips in a sweet kiss which made me sigh in content.
" I will be back soon, Maddie! Until then wait for me and take care of yourself." Our lips met again in a sensual kiss which made my heart happy and i don't want to leave his embrace because I know once I leave here I will be treated as a Witch which needs to be at their beck and call and do their bidding.
" I hope the next time we don't have to part ways." Tears brimmed in my eyes but i held them back.
We soon parted ways after just embracing eachother and with a heavy heart I left him and went back to the coven.
" Where the hell are you, Maddie! Elders are asking for you." Carla, Assistant of the Elders met me the second I put my foot inside the territory. She sniffs around me like I am a theif and i would kill them all in their sleep.
" Carla! I went to get some herbs and roots from the woods and I clearly told you that before going." She is in her fifties and she always blames me for her forgetfulness.
" How dare you! You little s**t!" Her leg meets my knee knocking me down and making me groan in pain. She loves getting handy with me and not only her but some of the people here loves to torment me.
There are others who are fond of me and little girls and boys who follows me and asks me all the questions they are curious about but iam literally a Cinderella with three stepmothers and many step sisters.
" Iam sorry!" I gritted out the apology before I get the knee in my back or in my stomach.
" Get your ugly self up and meet the Elders in the meeting room." She stomped towards the mansion where the three sisters live and as well as me and others who work under the Elders.
I don't know who my parents are and where i came from originally. I just know their names and where they used to live.
I followed her towards the mansion and hurriedly reached the meeting room not raising my head and eyes on the ground.
" Move fast! Or else you want another kick!" She growled making my legs to move fast and we both entered the meeting room where Gemma, Lily and Jasmine is sitting behind the large table chatting among themselves.
" You called me,Mistresses." I bowed to them and stood back waiting for them to acknowledge me.
" Ah! Maddie! Yes, Yes, Come!" Jasmine, who was the youngest of the sisters grinned at me. She is the most cunning witch I have ever met. She seems lovely and friendly but she traps you with her fake goddness and make you her slave and yes slaves in our coven are normal and common.
" We called you here today to give you an assignment, Maddie and we have great expectations on you." Elder Gemma said with a stern face making me gulp in fear.
They always made me do spells and other magic potions but now it seems something big with the way Jasmine is buzzing with excitement and Gemma and Lily's stern faces.
" Yes, Mistress!" No one is allowed to meet eyes with them and if anyone dares to meet their eyes then it's their last day on earth.
" We need you to Summon Lillith." I head snapped up hearing her words and the way she casually took the name.
" W…what Mistress?" I bowed my head at their glare and stuttered like an i***t. I can't seem to wrap my head around her words and what she wants me to do.
It's impossible to summon Lillith and iam not that powerful to do that.
" You heard what Gemma Said Maddie. Don't need to be surprised and we expect you to do your task properly." Elder Lily's turn to talk and I was still in the shock at what they are asking.
I am the good witch and i can't able to summon the wife of Lucifer and if I do that then i don't guarantee my life.
